The deposition history of study area around the hole before and after the glacial period as well as postglacial period is made clear after our research: (1) the estuarine sublayer -undersea delta facies strata was deposited under the fast sea level rise about 15 kaB.P; (2) sand ridges mostly consisting of fine-sand, were formed when the sea level was the fluctuant range of 60 - 80 m of isoba during the deglacial period around 15 - 12 kaB.P; (3) first silty clay and clay silt strata above the sand ridges were deposited during the period when the sea level rose fast from 12 to 7 kaB.P, and then it keeps stable to the present.展开更多

The Eastern Ancient Terrane is the best studied and understood of the three ancient terranes. It has a long geological history back to ca. 3.8 Ga ago and includes the areas of Anshan-Benxi, eastern Hebei, eastern Shandong and western Shandong. In Anshan-Benxi, several different types of 3.8 Ga rocks were discovered together with 3.1-3.7 Ga rocks, whereas 2.9-3.0 Ga K-rich granites and 2.5 Ga syenogranite occur on larger scales. In eastern Hebei, 3.0-3.4 Ga rocks and older detrital and xenocrystic zircons were identified. In eastern Shandong, there are a large volumes of 2.7 Ga and 2.9 Ga rocks. In western Shandong, early Neoarchean (2.6-2.7 Ga) intrusive and supracrustal rocks are widely distributed. Whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotope data suggest that both mantle additions and crustal recycling played important roles within the Eastern Ancient Terrane during almost every tectono-magmatic event. Most BIFs in the North China Craton are late Neoarchean in age and are distributed on continental crust along the western margin of the Eastern Ancient Terrane, probably suggesting that a stable environment was one of the key factors for the formation of large-scale BIFs.展开更多

The sedimentary sequence mainly of fluvial deposits comprise an important component part of the low-stand system tract and transgressive system tract in the study region. The plannar variation and spatial association of the sedimentary features such as incised valley fillings, deltaic foreset wedges and block slides of shelf-marginal fans reflect the palaeogeographic environment during the fall of the regional sea level in the northern part of the South China Sea. Based on the high-resolution seismic reflection data and gelogical data from boreholes, the present paper makes an integrated interpretation of the Quaternary ancient river channels in the shallow sediments of the study area, studies the sedimentary features of the ancient channels such as their spatial distribution, seismic facies reflection indicators, sedimentary facies and sand -body types, and discusses their formational setting and evolutionary model, with the main purpose to render a service to the hydrocarbon resources exploration and development and marine engineering in the northern shelf of the South China Sea.展开更多

The author does not agree with Joseph Needham’s view:“There can be little doubt that on the whole its action was powerfully inhibitory”, and the author thinks Buddhism took a positive promotion and influence on the development of science and technology in ancient China as a whole. There were four main ways of Chinese Buddhism influence on ancient science and technology:(1) The Buddhist scriptures actually contain a wealth of knowledge of science and technology;the eminent Buddhist monks introduced them into China through translation, therefore enriched contents of science and technology in ancient China.(2) Some knowledge of science and technology in ancient Indian and other districts got into China along with the spread of Buddhism.(3) Ancient Chinese Buddhists took part in science and technology practice actively at that time, and they had got a series of achievements in science and technology.(4) Being inspired and affected by Buddhist scientific knowledge, those non-Buddhist scientists had engaged in many created work in a further step, and made much contributions to development of science and technology. The doctrine of Buddhism was not a complete hindrance to the development of science and technology, and the result turned out contrary in many respects that it had promoted development of science and technology. In fact, Chinese Buddhism had made many important contributions in the fields of astronomy, mathematics, medicine, and so on.展开更多

Against the background of the rising antagonism between China and the West as well as the continuous efforts of the US to urge Europe to curb China in recent years, Germany's understanding of China tends to be negative. Besides, because of the changes in Germany's political landscape and in Sino-German economic and trade relations, the new government is likely to reinforce its defense against and pressure upon China, reduce its strategic dependence on China, strengthen the coordination with its European and American allies for a collective China policy, and compete for dominance in economy and trade, science and technology, global infrastructure, and rules and standards. Sino-German relations may fluctuate, but because of the binding of the economy and trade between the two countries, internal contradictions inside the Western Bloc, and the German tradition of diplomatic pragmatism, the new government will adjust its China policy on the basis of continuation, so that the reversal of the Sino-German relations is hardly to be triggered.展开更多

The first is the reform of economic system, the second is the change in the pattern of economic growth, and the third is the adjustment of economic structure. Government is the leading force of China's economic transformation, and repeated reform of government institutions has brought about some changes to government functions. But problems are obvious that lag changes of government functions have become an obstacle in China's economic transformation. This article describes the historical evolution and the reality of China's economic transformation, and analyzes the main reasons of lag changes in government functions, and reveals that the transformation of government functions is the key for successful transformation of China's economy.展开更多

文摘For a while since the inception of economic system reform programs in 1980s,China's government investment in health was weakened. This resulted in healthcare provider's increasing reliance on user charges for their income, poorer access to healthcare for the vulnerable population groups, and increasing socioeconomic disparities in health and healthcare. To address these problems,China initiated a series of health sector reforms since late 1990s.Our comprehensive review study has found that indeed Chinese government spending on health has been increasing in recent years, especially since 2009,when the new Healthcare Reform Plan was announced.Still,China needs to both further strengthen government investment in health and address the structural imbalances in government health financing,in order to make the overall Chinese health system more equitable and more efficient.
文摘There is an urgent need for China's rural land transfer in order to develop modern agriculture, ensure food security, transfer rural population, and accelerate industrialization and urbanization. At present, there is still disordered transfer of rural land in China, making the interests of the transferors and transferees difficult to be effectively guaranteed;there is inefficient transfer, leading to decline in actual agricultural production level after transfer;there is jobless transfer, leading to difficult placement for rural surplus labor after transfer, seriously restricting rural land transfer. Therefore, the Chinese government's legal responsibility, economic responsibility and social responsibility in rural land transfer should be further strengthened.

文摘It is important and worthwhile to discuss what kind of influence Buddhism cast on the development of science and technology in ancient China. In fact, Chinese Buddhism had made many important contributions in the fields of astronomy, mathematics, medicine, and so on.
文摘Social assistance and relief to the impoverished and vulnerable groups is a timehonored tradition that has been continued throughout Chinese history.Although social and economic development varied from one historical period to another, poverty, being a social phenomenon, can be found in any historical society.Under no circumstances could the ruling class ignore the very existence of such special groups. To meet the needs of social development and political ruling, the imperial governments of all dynasties in Chinese history invariably offered social assistance and relief to the vulnerable groups to highlight their consideration and care of them at the state level.
文摘In contrast to the Merkel era, the emphasis on ideological disputes and competition with China is evident in the new German government's Coalition Treaty and several of its new ministers' expressions about China. Sino-German relations may fluctuate, but because of the binding of the economy and trade between the two countries, internal contradictions inside the Western Bloc, and the German tradition of diplomatic pragmatism, the new government will adjust its China policy on the basis of continuation, so that the reversal of the Sino-German relations is hardly to be triggered.
文摘The content of China's economic transformation is not single, and this article argues that it includes three parts. This article describes the historical evolution and the reality of China's economic transformation, and analyzes the main reasons of lag changes in government functions, and reveals that the transformation of government functions is the key for successful transformation of China's economy.
