Through the interpretation, construction, and exhibition stages, the ability of students in grasping the knowledge of architecture history can be strengthened. Then, from the historical background, physical composition, artistic conception of space, structural system, detailed structure, and architectural evolution, the positive significance of ancient architecture model to the teaching of the History of Chinese Architecture was discussed, in the hope of providing certain theoretical basis for the teaching of the History of Chinese Architecture.展开更多

It has two kinds of practical effects, one is to decorate building, and the second is to protect the individual masonry wood components and parts them from wind and rain erosion. In other words, functional and aesthetic painting set in one. Most Chinese ancient buildings are wooden structures, for aesthetics and durability wooden structural parts, are generally required to cover color to paint the cover, so the Chinese ancient buildings, whether internal walls, ceiling, doors, windows, roofs, etc. are painted with colors, sculpturing patterns and patterns to enhance the expressive power of art architecture, it can be said that the ancient Chinese architecture buildings are colorized architecture. From afar to go, the overall color of ancient Chinese architecture makes people' s hearts worship must be generated by the primary function of psychological respected. Ancient architectural decoration can be summarized into three categories: gold, color ornaments and carvings, color ornaments which include brush color decoration ornaments, painting and murals are as one of the three categories, the color was given such a high mission in the world, yet there are no countries can be comparable with it, the reason is not just the appearance of color can achieve architectural beauty, but also to show people' s color sustenance and beliefs in a certain extent. Ancient architectural sculpture was created by people in the production practice activities, and it is a product of the interaction between material and spiritual civilization and has a very high social value and artistic value. It carries historical and cultural information, expresses people' s spiritual and cultural pursuits and beliefs and through different art forms, reflects the beauty of different materials, expresses a different artistic content.展开更多

In addition, the MOR of specimens was measured by Resistograph and the correlations were analyzed between resistance value and mechanical properties of wood. The correlations are significant for quantitative evaluation of wood structural condition by Resistograph. The results showed that wood air-dried density, strength properties and resistance values decreased significantly with the increase of decay degree, and there were remarkable differences among various grades of wood. Based on the rotten degree, the attenuation rate is in the following order: MOR> compressive strength parallel to grain > air-dried wood density > resistance value, and the above 4 indexes were 32%, 53%, 73% and 74% of those of intact wood, respectively, when the degree of rotten wood reached grade 3. Significant positive correlation at 0.01 level was showed between the wave trough values and wood air-dried density, MOR, compressive strength parallel to grain. The correlations between the wave peak values and the average value and air-dried wood density, MOR reached 0.01 level, and the correlations between the wave peak values and the average value and compressive strength parallel to grain reached 0.05 level. Based on the correlation between resistance value and physico-mechanical properties of wood, the values could be analyzed quantitatively.展开更多

Any applicative, practical and durable building will conform to the simplicity of science and technology and harmony of design, and conform to the principle of beauty in the meantime. Architecture not only satisfies the need of functions, but represents the combination of skill and art, which is a sufficient integration of technology and art. The paper analyzes the relationship between technology and art of historic buildings in China by taking the typical examples of the Zhaozhou Bridge and the Hanging Temple of Hengshan, and clarifies the way of fusion between building and art, and indicates ways of fusion and reasons. In the last, the article proves the theory by the case of indoor decoration in modern building in order to defend mechanics and aesthetics in the modern buildings.展开更多

He became known for the debate on the use of innovative materials in archaeological sites and not for the extent of his contributions. The world do not know his museums, Italian and not, his many conservation and restoration projects, his archaeological parks, redevelopments of historic centres, new buildings, interior design projects, shops and exhibitions. A reading of his museological works alongside of his experiments on archaeological sites, can help highlight the conceptual congruence with which Minissi tried to meet the needs of the present and the preservation of antiquities, as a dialogue with the past, of refined sensibility and intended to a reversibility respectful of preexistence. This places him among the key figures of the origins of the critical restoration, as an inspiration that continues to offer fruitful ideas to the new generations.展开更多
