Meanwhile, an optimized selection principle of the ALSM signals based on the sensitivity analysis and principle component analysis(PCA)is proposed to improve the accuracy of the retrieval results. The sensitivity analysis of the ALSM signals to the optical constants or characteristic parameters in the ASD is studied first to find the optimized selection region of measurement angles. Then, the PCA is adopted to select the optimized measurement angles within the optimized selection region obtained by sensitivity analysis. The investigation reveals that, compared with random selection measurement angles, the optimized selection measurement angles can provide more useful measurement information to ensure the retrieval accuracy. Finally, the aerosol optical constants and the ASDs are reconstructed simultaneously. The results show that the retrieval accuracy of refractive indices is better than that of absorption indices, while the characteristic parameters in ASDs have similar retrieval accuracy. Moreover, the retrieval accuracy in studying L-N distribution is a little better than that in studying Gamma distribution for the difference of corresponding correlation coefficient matrixes of the ALSM signals. All the results confirm that the proposed technique is an effective and reliable technique in estimating the aerosol optical constants and ASD simultaneously.展开更多

Its function and precision determine the turntable' s function and precision. It attaches importance to research on inertial test equipment. This paper introduces the principle of the angular measuring system using amplitude discrimination mode. The dynamic errors axe analyzed from the aspects of inductosyn, amplitude and function error of double-phase voltage and wavefonn distortion. The discontinuity of output signal represents a system fault . In an angular measuring system, function transformer uses two D/A convertors, output circuit fault of a D/A convertor brings about discontinuity of one phase input voltage amplitude of inductosyn, results in a system error exceeding the allowable error and reduces the system accuracy. This is the reason why discontinuity is detected. Fourier transform has no resolution ability in angular domain, but wavelet can analyse signal in angular and frequency domains. So we decompose the error signal of angular measuring system by wavelet, detect the signal singularity at high frequency layer and find out the accurate position of it.展开更多

By combining a coherent beam with a vacuum beam in an SU(2) interferometer, we get the sensitivity of the angular rotation measurement as 1/(2N^(1/2)l). We can surpass the limit of the angular rotation measurement in an SU(1,1) interferometer by combining a coherent beam with a vacuum beam or a squeezed vacuum beam when the probe beam has OAM. Without injection, the sensitivity can reach 1/(2N^(1/2)l). In addition, by employing another construction of an SU(1,1) interferometer where the pump beam has OAM, with the same injection of an SU(1,1) interferometer, the sensitivity of the angular rotation measurement can be improved by a factor of 2, reaching 1/(4Nl). The results confirm the potential of this technology for precision measurements in angular rotation measurements.展开更多

This method is based on bistatic synthetic aperture radar. The illuminator works in side looking mode, providing the synthetic aperture and the receiver is disposed on the seeker which operates in the forward looking mode. The receiving antenna is composed of four sub-antennas and so four synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images are to be generated. Target is positioned in SAR images by image matching. The bearing and elevation of image element of target are measured by the principle of monopulse angular measurement. Theory of the proposed method is derived and simulation on bearing measurement is done. Simulation shows that the method is valid and if SNR of target's image is above 30 dB, the angular measuring difference is within the confines of 0.04 degree.展开更多

It is found that the subdivision errors are mainly due to the rotary-type inductosyn itself. For the characteristic of cyclical change, the subdivision errors in other measuring cycles can be compensated by the subdivision error model in one measuring cycle. Using the measured error data as training samples, combining GA and BP algorithm, an ANN model of subdivision error is designed. Simulation results indicate that GA reduces the uncertainty in the training process of the ANN model, and enhances the generalization of the model. Compared with the error model based on the least-mean-squared method, the designed ANN model of subdivision errors can achieve higher compensating precision.展开更多

Using a mathematical transformation, the effects of bounded time-varying disturbances, uncertain inertia, and saturation input are combined as total disturbances. A novel finite-time observer is designed to estimate the unknown angular velocity and the total disturbances. For attitude control, an observer-based sliding-mode control protocol is proposed to force the system state convergence to the desired sliding-mode surface; the finite-time stability is guaranteed via Lyapunov theory analysis. Finally, a numerical simulation is presented to illustrate the effective performance of the proposed sliding-mode control protocol.展开更多
