It finds that the biexciton binding energies in the QDs show "binding" and "antibinding" properties which correspond to the large and small sizes of QDs, respectively. The experimental results can be well interpreted by the biexciton potential curve, calculated from the exciton molecular model and the Heitler London method.展开更多

The results obtained from numerical calculation indicate that the amplitude of oscillation of field quantum entropy evolution decreases with the increasing of squeezing parameter γ, and that both atomic distribution angle θ and coupling strength g between the field and the atom can influence the periodicity of field quantum entropy evolution.展开更多

Based on the evolution, the mean value of the atom inversion operator 〈 S 3(t)〉 is gi ven. The influence of the “counter rotating term” on the collapse and revival phenomenon is discussed from the comparison between the cases with RWA and without RWA. It shows that the influence of the virtual photon field makes the quantum fluctuations appear on the collapse and revival phenomenon.展开更多

By linearizing the quantum hydrodynamic equations, we get the dispersion relations for the high frequency quantum Langmuir wave and the low frequency quantum ion-acoustic wave. Using two-time scale method, we obtain the quantum Zaharov model in the cylindrical coordinates. Decay instability and four-wave instability are discussed in detail. It is shown that the carbon nanotube's radius, the equilibrium discrete azimuthal quantum number, the perturbed discrete azimuthal quantum number, and the quantum parameter all play a crucial role in the instabilities.展开更多

B 97, 165140(2018)). In that approximation, the precision of results depends on the selection of operator basis. Here, for three successively larger operator bases, we calculate the local static averages and the impurity density of states of the single-band Anderson impurity model. The results converge systematically towards those of numerical renormalization group as the basis size is enlarged. We also propose a quantitative gauge of the truncation error within this method and demonstrate its usefulness using the Hubbard-I basis. We thus confirm that the projective truncation approximation is a method of controllable precision for quantum many-body systems.展开更多

The Kriging approximate model with updating is introduced to reduce the computational cost of MDF caused by the complex structure. The computational efficiency is remarkably improved as the lack of iterative process during reliability analysis. Special attention is paid to a turbine blade design optimization by adopting the proposed method. Results show that the method is much more efficient than the commonly used double-loop based RBMDO method. It is feasible and efficient to apply the method to the engineering design.展开更多
