[Objective] Detecting the concentration of metals (lead, cadmium and arsenic) in the rice from one test field was to provide a snapshot of the current status of metal contamination in rice, coming up with a scientific basis for further research. [Method] The research divided 15 adjacent fields into five groups. Two samples were randomly selected from each field. Metal contamination was evaluated based on GB standards and the overall pollution score (OPS). [Result] The percentages of samples with above-standard levels of the three metals are 83.3%, 100% and 36.7%, respectively. The values of OPSs are ranged from five to seven, with Pb's pollution index constituting the most percentage between three metals in OPS. [Conclusion] A metal contamination in the grown rice of this test field is observed, in which Pb may be the most important factor, and Cd contents in all of the samples exceed the safety value. 展开更多

This study was carried out to detect content of heavy metals( Pb,Cd,and As) in vegetables, understand the current situation of heavy metal contamination in vegetables, and to provide scientific reference for further researches. It randomly selected 6 large vegetable markets and 6 supermarkets in Changsha City, selected 8 types of typical vegetables, and detected 96 samples. In accordance with maximum level of contaminants in foods in existing GB2762- 2012 standard,Nemerow composite pollution index( Pt) and grading standards,it made evaluation: uncontaminated( Pt≤ 1),mildly contaminated( 1 < Pt≤2),moderately contaminated( 2 < Pt≤3),and highly contaminated( Pt>3). Among 96 samples, range of content of Pb,Cd and As is( 0. 06- 1. 41),( 0. 06- 1. 26) and( 0. 00- 0. 91) mg / kg respectively; the over- limit rate of these metals exceeding the safety level is 78. 13%,45. 83%,and 34. 38% separately; the composite pollution index is in( 0. 90-6. 05),the eggplant is 6. 05 and hot pepper is 3. 24; the content of Pb( F =23. 908,P =0. 001) and Cd( F =64. 908,P =0. 000)are significantly different between 8 types of vegetables and there is no significant difference between the content of As( F = 4. 634,P = 0. 705> 0. 05) in 8 types of vegetables. Study shows that common vegetables in Changsha City has problem of excess Pb,Cd and As,and the Pb over- limit rate is the highest. The composite pollution index indicates that most heavy metal contamination of vegetables is mild and moderate contamination, melon, fruit and vegetable contamination is high contamination, and Cd is the major factor leading to contamination of melons, fruits and vegetables. 展开更多

Objective: To observe the therape utic effect of arsenious acid combined with Tα-1 thymus peptide and megestro l acetate on advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods: Nintey-two patients were divided randomly into the tr eated group( n =45) and the control group( n =47). The treated group were tr eated with arsenious acid combined with Tα-1 thymus peptide and megestrol ac etate, and the control group were treated with chemotherapy in the NP protocol .Results: (1) Therapeutic effect :In the 36 patients of the treated group, 2 were evaluated as CR, 8 as PR, 9 as MR, 8 as SD and 9 as PD, the CR+PR rate being 27.7% (10/36), while in the 40 patients of the control group, the co rresponding numbers were 3, 10, 11, 9, 7 and 32.5% (13/40). Comparison between t he CR+PR rate between the two groups showed insignificant difference ( P >0.05 ). (2)Clinical benefit rate: The positive rate of Karnofsky scores in the treate d group and the control group was 44.4% and 20.0% respectively; and the positive rate of body weight in the two groups was 33.3% and 12.5% respectively, the dif ference between the two groups was significant ( all P <0.05). (3)Changes of T- cell subsets and NK cell activity: CD4 and CD4/CD8 ratio after treatment i n the treated group increased significantly ( P <0.05), while in the control group, CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cell activity all lowered significantly ( P <0.01). Comparison between the two groups after treatment showed significa nt difference in CD4, CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cell activity, with those in the trea ted group all higher than those in the control group ( P <0.01). (4)Adeverse -reaction: No serious adverse reaction was found in both two groups. (5)Media n survival period:The treated group was 30 weeks and that in the control group w as 28.5 weeks, and the difference between the two groups was insignificant ( P >0.05).Conclusion: Arsenious acid combined with Tα-1 thymus peptide and megestrol acetate was a relatively effective scheme with low toxicity in tre ating advanced NSCLC. 展开更多
