Foot ulcers are common complications of diabetes mellitus and substantially increase the morbidity and mortality due to this disease.Wound care by regular monitoring of the progress of healing with clinical review of the ulcers,dressing changes,appropriate antibiotic therapy for infection and proper offloading of the ulcer are the cornerstones of the management of foot ulcers.Assessing the progress of foot ulcers can be a challenge for the clinician and patient due to logistic issues such as regular attendance in the clinic.Foot clinics are often busy and because of manpower issues,ulcer reviews can be delayed with detrimental effects on the healing as a result of a lack of appropriate and timely changes in management.Wound photographs have been historically useful to assess the progress of diabetic foot ulcers over the past few decades.Mobile phones with digital cameras have recently revolutionized the capture of foot ulcer images.Patients can send ulcer photographs to diabetes care professionals electronically for remote monitoring,largely avoiding the logistics of patient transport to clinics with a reduction on clinic pressures.Artificial intelligence-based technologies have been developed in recent years to improve this remote monitoring of diabetic foot ulcers with the use of mobile apps.This is expected to make a huge impact on diabetic foot ulcer care with further research and development of more accurate and scientific technologies in future.This clinical update review aims to compile evidence on this hot topic to empower clinicians with the latest developments in the field. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Knee diseases are more common in middle-aged and elderly people,so artificial knee replacement is also more used in middle-aged and elderly people.Although the patient’s pain can be reduced through surgery,often accompanied by moderate pain after surgery and neutralization,which not only increases the psychological burden of the patient,but also greatly reduces the postoperative recovery effect,and may also lead to the occurrence of postoperative adverse events in severe cases.AIM To investigate the analgesic effect of artificial intelligence(AI)and ultrasoundguided nerve block in total knee arthroplasty(TKA).METHODS A total of 92 patients with TKA admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were opted and divided into two groups according to the treatment regimen.The control group received combined spinal-epidural anesthesia.The research group received AI technique combined with ultrasound-guided nerve block anesthesia.The sensory block time,motor block time,visual analogue scale(VAS)at different time points and complications were contrasted between the two groups.RESULTS The time of sensory block onset and sensory block perfection in the research group was shorter than those in the control group,but the results had no significant difference(P>0.05).Duration of sensory block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control group(P<0.05).The time of motor block onset and motor block perfection in the research group was shorter than those in the control group,but the results had no significant difference(P>0.05).Duration of motor block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control group.The VAS scales of the research group were significantly lower than that of the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The postoperative hip flexion and abduction range of motion in the research group were significantly better than those in the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the research group than in the control group(P=0.049).CONCLUSION In TKA,the combination of AI technology and ultrasound-guided nerve block has a significantly effect,with fewer postoperative complications and significantly analgesic effect,which is worthy of application. 展开更多

This study aims to summarize the current state and research hotspots of artificial intelligence(AI)applications in the field of cultural heritage,analyze development trends,and provide valuable insights and decision-making references for professionals and researchers.The study further seeks to propose new perspectives for the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage.By using CiteSpace software to conduct a bibliometric analysis and generate visual maps based on literature data from the CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)database,this study analyzes key aspects such as annual publication volume,authors,institutions,countries,keyword clustering,and keyword bursts.The research results show a significant increase in studies on the application of artificial intelligence in cultural heritage preservation since 2016,with a focus on digital preservation,virtual reconstruction,and innovative inheritance of cultural heritage.The research on intangible cultural heritage,in particular,stands out.Key topics such as artificial intelligence,intangible cultural heritage,digitization,and rural revitalization have emerged as current research hotspots.In the future,the application of cutting-edge technologies such as the metaverse and big data in cultural heritage will likely become major research trends. 展开更多

Generative Artificial Intelligence technology embedded brings new opportunities and challenges for thehigh-quality development of ice and snow tourism industry.Using literature and other research methods,we constructed the element linkage and system of generative AI technology to drive the high-quality development of theice and snow tourism industry and proposed the digital governance path.The results showed that:(1)The factorlinkage of high-quality development of ice and snow tourism industry with integrated basic structure and coupledcentral system of multi-factor linkage;multi-directional strategic objectives and synergistic triple benefits;and intelligent operation logic and precise matching of supply and demand has been constructed.(2)Based on the synergyof digital governance elements,a five-factor synergistic development system was built with digital talent elements,technological innovation elements,product innovation elements,data resource elements and channel innovationelements.(3)The synergy of elements provided digital governance path guidelines for the high-quality developmentof ice and snow tourism industry,digital governance system:precise supply of policies and regulations,andstrengthening of soft and hard constraints to promote;digital governance structure:building a three-dimensionalregulatory mechanism,and advancing the governance process of targeting;digital governance subject:driving thetwo-way reach of the governance subject,and strengthening the common governance of pluralistic subjects;digitalgovernance capacity:precise allocation of governance resources,and driving the transformation and upgrading ofelemental endowments.The results of this research can help to provide ideas and reference for the high-qualitydevelopment of ice and snow tourism industry empowered by Generative Artificial Intelligence technology andimprove the theoretical research on the high-quality development of ice and snow tourism industry. 展开更多

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)is a non-invasive spectroscopic technique that provides specific chemical fingerprint information for biomarkers in cancer and pathogen diagnosis.However,the SERS strategies are limited by the non-specific interactions between substrates and co-existing substances in biological matrices and the challenges of obtaining molecular fingerprint information from the complex vibrational spectrum.In recent years,the rapid development of novel substrates with high SERS activity has opened up new opportunities for their applications in cancer and pathogen diagnosis.The aim of this review is to present the recent progress and perspectives of novel SERS-based substrates for cancer and pathogen diagnostic applications.First,we will introduce recently developed SERS-active nanomaterials and discuss the influencing factors of the SERS signals.Second,the advantages of SERS in the diagnosis of cancer and pathogens will be given.Third,we will review the latest breakthroughs in cancer and pathogen detection research with SERS technology,as well as the new opportunities for SERS applications brought about by artificial intelligence(Al)technology.In addition,the novel microfluidic-SERS platforms for cancer and pathogens diagnosis will also be discussed.Finally,we will summarize the challenges and future perspectives of SERS technology in the field of early cancer diagnosis and rapid pathogen detection.It is highly expected that this review could benefit a comprehensive understanding of the research status of the SERS-active nanomaterials and arouse the research enthusiasm for them,leading to accelerated clinical translation of SERS technology in cancer and pathogen diagnosis. 展开更多
