Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a substantial global health burden.Immune escape mechanisms are important in ESCC progression,enabling cancer cells to escape the surveillance of the host immune system.One key player in this process is the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor(AhR),which influences multiple cellular processes,including proliferation,differentiation,metabolism,and immune regulation.Dysregulated AhR signaling participates in ESCC development by stimulating carcinogenesis,epithelial-mesenchymal transition,and immune escape.Targeting AhR signaling is a potential therapeutic approach for ESCC,with AhR ligands showing efficacy in preclinical studies.Additionally,modification of AhR ligands and combination therapies present new opportunities for therapeutic intervention.This review aims to address the knowledge gap related to the role of AhR signaling in ESCC pathogenesis and immune escape. 展开更多

Unraveling the roles of atomically-dispersed Au in boosting photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction and aryl alcohol oxidation

Atomically-dispersed metal-based materials represent an emerging class of photocatalysts attributed to their high catalytic activity,abundant surface active sites,and efficient charge separation.Nevertheless,the roles of different forms of atomically-dispersed metals(i.e.,single-atoms and atomic clusters)in photocatalytic reactions remain ambiguous.Herein,we developed an ethylenediamine(EDA)-assisted reduction method to controllably synthesize atomically dispersed Au in the forms of Au single atoms(Au_(SA)),Au clusters(Au_(C)),and a mixed-phase of Au_(SA)and Au_(C)(Au_(SA+C))on CdS.In addition,we elucidate the synergistic effect of Au_(SA)and Au_(C)in enhancing the photocatalytic performance of CdS substrates for simultaneous CO_(2)reduction and aryl alcohol oxidation.Specifically,Au_(SA)can effectively lower the energy barrier for the CO_(2)→*COOH conversion,while Au_(C)can enhance the adsorption of alcohols and reduce the energy barrier for dehydrogenation.As a result,the Au_(SA)and Au_(C)co-loaded CdS show impressive overall photocatalytic CO_(2)conversion performance,achieving remarkable CO and BAD production rates of 4.43 and 4.71 mmol g^(−1)h^(−1),with the selectivities of 93%and 99%,respectively.More importantly,the solar-to-chemical conversion efficiency of Au_(SA+C)/CdS reaches 0.57%,which is over fivefold higher than the typical solar-to-biomass conversion efficiency found in nature(ca.0.1%).This study comprehensively describes the roles of different forms of atomically-dispersed metals and their synergistic effects in photocatalytic reactions,which is anticipated to pave a new avenue in energy and environmental applications. 展开更多

Defects-rich heterointerfaces integrated with adjustable crystalline phases and atom vacancies,as well as veiled dielectric-responsive character,are instrumental in electromagnetic dissipation.Conventional methods,however,constrain their delicate constructions.Herein,an innovative alternative is proposed:carrageenan-assistant cations-regulated(CACR)strategy,which induces a series of sulfides nanoparticles rooted in situ on the surface of carbon matrix.This unique configuration originates from strategic vacancy formation energy of sulfides and strong sulfides-carbon support interaction,benefiting the delicate construction of defects-rich heterostructures in M_(x)S_(y)/carbon composites(M-CAs).Impressively,these generated sulfur vacancies are firstly found to strengthen electron accumulation/consumption ability at heterointerfaces and,simultaneously,induct local asymmetry of electronic structure to evoke large dipole moment,ultimately leading to polarization coupling,i.e.,defect-type interfacial polarization.Such“Janus effect”(Janus effect means versatility,as in the Greek two-headed Janus)of interfacial sulfur vacancies is intuitively confirmed by both theoretical and experimental investigations for the first time.Consequently,the sulfur vacancies-rich heterostructured Co/Ni-CAs displays broad absorption bandwidth of 6.76 GHz at only 1.8 mm,compared to sulfur vacancies-free CAs without any dielectric response.Harnessing defects-rich heterostructures,this one-pot CACR strategy may steer the design and development of advanced nanomaterials,boosting functionality across diverse application domains beyond electromagnetic response. 展开更多

Comparative study on the hydrogen storage performance of as-milled MgRENi rapid quenched alloy catalyzed by metal sulfides

The composites of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)as-quenched alloy and 3 wt.%M(M=CoS,CoS_(2),MoS_(2))catalyst were prepared by high-speed vibration ball mill.The effects of metal sulfides on the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation dynamics of alloys were compared.The results show that the as-milled composites contain a large number of amorphous embedded by a small amount of nanocrystals,and there are many point defects.After ball milling,the crystal grain size in the composites containing CoS is relatively larger,followed by CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)again.After hydrogenation,the amorphous phase is crystallized to form Mg_(2)NiH_(4),YH_(3),Pr_(8)H_(18.96),Sm_(3)H_7,Mg,Co or Mo phases,however,Mg_(2)Ni,YH_(2),PrH_(2)and Ni_(3)Y phases appeared after dehydrogenation.The maximum hydrogenation capacity of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)are 3.939,4.265 and 4.507 wt.%,respectively.The hydrogenation saturation ratio of composite containing MoS_(2)is higher than that of the composites containing CoS and CoS_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energy of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)is 107.76,68.43 and 63.28 kJ.mol^(-1).H_(2).On the improvement of hydrogen storage performance of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)alloy,the catalytic effect of MoS_(2)sulfide is better than that of CoS_(2)sulfide,and which is better than CoS sulfide. 展开更多

Water electrolysis is a promising technology to produce hydrogen but it was severely restricted by the slow oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Herein,we firstly reported an advanced electrocatalyst of MOF-derived hollow Zn-Co-Ni sulfides(ZnS@Co_(9)S_(8)@Ni_(3)S_(2)-1/2,abbreviated as ZCNS-1/2)nanosword arrays(NSAs)with remarkable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),OER and corresponding water electrolysis performance.To reach a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),the cell voltage of assembled ZCNS-1/2//ZCNS-1/2 for urea electrolysis(1.314 V)is 208 mV lower than that for water electrolysis(1.522 V)and stably catalyzed for over 15 h,substantially outperforming the most reported water and urea electrolysis electrocatalysts.Density functional theory calculations and experimental result clearly reveal that the properties of large electrochemical active surface area(ECSA)caused by hollow NSAs and fast charge transfer resulted from the Co_(9)S_(8)@Ni_(3)S_(2) heterostructure endow the ZCNS-1/2 electrode with an enhanced electrocatalytic performance. 展开更多

Background:In many cancer types,aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator 2(ARNT2)has been found to be associated with tumor cell proliferation and prognosis.However,the role of ARNT2 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)has not been completely elucidated.In this study,the potential role of ARNT2 in ccRCC development was characterized.Methods:A pan-cancer dataset(TCGA-TARGET-GTEx)was accessed from UCSC Xena Data Browser.ARNT2 expression in normal and tumor samples was compared.Univariate Cox regression was performed to evaluate the prognostic value of ARNT2.Single sample gene set enrichment analysis(ssGSEA)was used to estimate the enrichment of functional pathways and gene signatures.CIBERSORT and ESTIMATE methods evaluated the immune infiltration.The ARNT2 expression was determined in ccRCC tissue and cell lines using RT-qPCR and Western blot.Results:ARNT2 expression was significantly dysregulated in 23 out of 30 cancer types.Pan-cancer data revealed a strong correlation between ARNT2 expression and immune modulators,immune cell infiltration,and genomic alternations.In ccRCC patients,the low-ARNT2 expression group had higher immune infiltration,CD8 T cells,and programmed cell death ligand 1 expression,as well as higher enrichment score of immunotherapeutic predictors than those in the high-ARNT2 expression group.Low-ARNT2 expression group was more responsive to immunotherapy.Moreover,low ARNT2 expression was observed in ccRCC tissue and cell lines.Conclusions:Dysregulated ARNT2 expression is involved in cancer development and the modulation of the immune microenvironment.ARNT2 can be potentially used as a prognostic indicator and an immunotherapeutic indicator for ccRCC. 展开更多

Constitutive aryl hydrocarbon receptor facilitates the regenerative potential of mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells

BACKGROUND Bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells(BMSCs)are the commonly used seed cells in tissue engineering.Aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR)is a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes.However,the function of constitutive AhR in BMSCs remains unclear.AIM To investigate the role of AhR in the osteogenic and macrophage-modulating potential of mouse BMSCs(mBMSCs)and the underlying mechanism.METHODS Immunochemistry and immunofluorescent staining were used to observe the expression of AhR in mouse bone marrow tissue and mBMSCs.The overexpression or knockdown of AhR was achieved by lentivirus-mediated plasmid.The osteogenic potential was observed by alkaline phosphatase and alizarin red staining.The mRNA and protein levels of osteogenic markers were detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)and western blot.After coculture with different mBMSCs,the cluster of differentiation(CD)86 and CD206 expressions levels in RAW 264.7 cells were analyzed by flow cytometry.To explore the underlying molecular mechanism,the interaction of AhR with signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)was observed by co-immunoprecipitation and phosphorylation of STAT3 was detected by western blot.RESULTS AhR expressions in mouse bone marrow tissue and isolated mBMSCs were detected.AhR overexpression enhanced the osteogenic potential of mBMSCs while AhR knockdown suppressed it.The ratio of CD86+RAW 264.7 cells cocultured with AhR-overexpressed mBMSCs was reduced and that of CD206+cells was increased.AhR directly interacted with STAT3.AhR overexpression increased the phosphorylation of STAT3.After inhibition of STAT3 via stattic,the promotive effects of AhR overexpression on the osteogenic differentiation and macrophage-modulating were partially counteracted.CONCLUSION AhR plays a beneficial role in the regenerative potential of mBMSCs partially by increasing phosphorylation of STAT3. 展开更多

河北兴隆县高板河矿床是我国典型的中元古代喷流-沉积(SEDEX)型多金属硫化物矿床,其矿石及赋存围岩类型多样,目前不同类型矿石的主导成矿机制及其成因关系尚存争议。本文聚焦该矿床代表性矿石的硫同位素特征,发现与富锰黑色页岩密切相... 河北兴隆县高板河矿床是我国典型的中元古代喷流-沉积(SEDEX)型多金属硫化物矿床,其矿石及赋存围岩类型多样,目前不同类型矿石的主导成矿机制及其成因关系尚存争议。本文聚焦该矿床代表性矿石的硫同位素特征,发现与富锰黑色页岩密切相关的条带状/纹层状黄铁矿矿石和含锰白云岩赋矿的块状、浸染状及脉状硫化物矿石的硫同位素组成呈明显的两端元分布特征:前者主要由自形程度较好的黄铁矿微晶组成,相对富集重的硫同位素(δ34 S值在+6.7‰~+27.1‰之间);而后者以粗粒他形黄铁矿为主,硫同位素组成明显偏轻(δ34 S值总体在-10.0‰~+5.0‰之间)。不同于传统SEDEX模型强调局限盆地硫化水体环境,本文结合前人对该时期海平面及沉积相变化的认识,提出高板河矿化是海侵向海退转化过程中局部热液喷流活动加强的产物。底板黑色页岩上覆于浅水台地相碳酸盐岩地层以及其下部赋存白云质结核等地质证据指示该套富锰黑色页岩属于海侵成因。海侵过程使得潮下带深水区域形成局部硫化水体环境,低浓度海水硫酸盐几乎完全被还原,使得具有明显沉积特征的条带状/纹层状黄铁矿矿石富集重的硫同位素,其δ34 S平均值与前人报道的同时期海水硫酸盐硫同位素组成基本一致。相比之下,含锰碳酸盐岩中大量叠层石出现、硫化物矿层的下伏围岩由黑色页岩横向上过渡为碳酸盐岩的“穿时”特征共同指示层状矿体形成于海侵向海退转换过程中的沉积相突变带。同时,广泛发育的热液交代等地质特征指示碳酸盐岩中硫化物成矿过程中热液活动加强,由于潮间带碳酸盐岩沉积-早期成岩环境中硫酸盐浓度较高,水岩界面附近发生硫酸盐热化学还原作用产生较大的硫同位素分馏,因此碳酸盐岩赋矿的块状、浸染状及脉状矿石的硫同位素相比海水硫酸盐明显偏轻。综上所述,高板河矿床是喷流沉积和热液交代两种方式成矿的产物,成矿过程伴随着海侵向海退转换中发生的沉积相变,不同类型矿石硫同位素组成差异是由于不同水深条件下海水硫酸盐浓度差异导致的硫酸盐还原过程产生不同程度分馏的结果。本次研究为研究高于庄组二段所赋存的硫化物及锰矿石成矿过程提供了有效约束。 展开更多

老旧管道在服役过程中存在着失效风险,而影响老旧管道失效的因素有很多,在众多影响因素中硫化氢对管道产生的腐蚀损伤较严重。为解决受腐蚀损伤的老旧管道安全评估问题,文章建立了一种在硫化氢环境下老旧管道失效概率评价方法。以在硫... 老旧管道在服役过程中存在着失效风险,而影响老旧管道失效的因素有很多,在众多影响因素中硫化氢对管道产生的腐蚀损伤较严重。为解决受腐蚀损伤的老旧管道安全评估问题,文章建立了一种在硫化氢环境下老旧管道失效概率评价方法。以在硫化氢环境中使用了约20年的老旧集气管道为研究对象,采用蒙特卡洛法模拟管道服役过程中的动态压力和腐蚀损伤引起的剩余强度的变化,计算了单一腐蚀因素引起管道失效的概率,并通过正态分布概率给出管道使用的安全范围。研究结果表明:投运20年以上的含硫老旧管道在氢致开裂实验与应力腐蚀开裂实验中,均未发生开裂。根据模型计算得出,老旧管道依旧可以安全服役,但服役6年后失效概率超过0.5,需要进行整修工作,服役27年后,管道内腐蚀严重,剩余强度降到3.82 MPa,需要更换管道。通过模拟得到了失效概率与腐蚀缺陷和服役时间的关系,为老旧集气管道再服役提供理论依据和参考价值。 展开更多

为了明确硫化氢(H_(2)S)在煤中吸附扩散的微观动力学机理,揭示不同温度、压力对煤吸附H_(2)S分子吸附扩散特性的影响机制,基于巨正则蒙特卡罗(GCMC)、分子动力学(MD)和密度泛函理论(DFT)方法,利用Material Studio软件研究了温度在273.15... 为了明确硫化氢(H_(2)S)在煤中吸附扩散的微观动力学机理,揭示不同温度、压力对煤吸附H_(2)S分子吸附扩散特性的影响机制,基于巨正则蒙特卡罗(GCMC)、分子动力学(MD)和密度泛函理论(DFT)方法,利用Material Studio软件研究了温度在273.15~313.15 K、压力1~1 000 kPa时H_(2)S在气肥煤大分子模型中的吸附扩散特征。结果表明:温度由273.15 K升至313.15 K时,H_(2)S的饱和吸附量由38.34 mL/g降至31.85 mL/g,降低了16.93%,当压力为1 kPa时,温度对吸附量的影响最为敏感。温度为293.15 K时,压力由1 kPa升至1 000 kPa时,最可几相互作用能由-39.391 kJ/mol升至-34.301 kJ/mol,随着压力的增加,最可几相互作用能先快速增加,后缓慢增加。在吸附H_(2)S过程中,H_(2)S的等量吸附热在36.63~41.43 kJ/mol内,为物理吸附,等量吸附热随着吸附量的增加呈现出负指数变化;H_(2)S的吉布斯自由能ΔG为-3.57~-24.57 kJ/mol,吸附熵ΔS为-0.126~-0.194 8 kJ/(mol·K),随吸附量升高ΔG和ΔS的绝对值线性降低,H_(2)S的吸附自发性和系统的混沌程度均降低。H_(2)S与气肥煤的相互作用能为-492.47~-3 390.95 kJ/mol,以范德华能为主,占总能量的58.67%,以静电能为辅,占41.33%,随着吸附量的增加,相互作用能绝对值增加,吸附量与相互作用能的变化具有一致性。H_(2)S与羧基的相互作用最强,羟基次之,H_(2)S在—OH、—COOH、—C=O周围存在双层吸附。温度由273.15 K升至313.15 K,H_(2)S分子的扩散系数由1.066×10^(-10)m^(2)/s升至2.025×10^(-10)m^(2)/s,温度升高会导致原本闭合的孔吼孔道打开,增加裂隙的连通性,温度升高,增加H_(2)S分子平均自由程,使得H_(2)S扩散能力增强,H_(2)S扩散活化能为11.206 kJ/mol。H_(2)S相对体积分数分布呈现多峰结构,H_(2)S在气肥煤大分子模型中呈层状结构分布。H_(2)S的极限吸附热为42.898 kJ/mol,H_(2)S与煤体上—OH、—COOH、—C=O活性基团产生氢键作用,H_(2)S在吸附初期存在微弱的化学吸附。 展开更多

针对油井采出废水中硫化物去除难的问题,采用分段递进式除硫工艺对油井采出废水经过UASB生物反应池和仿生池进行分段递进式回流处理。实验结果表明,采用分段递进式除硫工艺,调节采出废水中S/N为5.2∶2,补充一定量的HCO_(3)^(-),设置回... 针对油井采出废水中硫化物去除难的问题,采用分段递进式除硫工艺对油井采出废水经过UASB生物反应池和仿生池进行分段递进式回流处理。实验结果表明,采用分段递进式除硫工艺,调节采出废水中S/N为5.2∶2,补充一定量的HCO_(3)^(-),设置回流比为2.7∶1条件下,采出废水中的硫化物(S_(2)^(-))去除率为95.8%,最大容积载荷6.46 kg/(m^(3)·d);硝酸盐(NO_(3)^(-)-N)去除率达99.6%,最大容积载荷1.13 kg/(m^(3)·d)。经SEM和XRD验证,硫代谢产物以单质硫(S0)为主,回收率83.8%,其次为SO_(4)^(2−)和S_(2)O_(3)^(2-);硝酸盐代谢产物以N_(2)为主,产率72.4%,其次为NO_(2)^(-)。分段递进式除硫工艺不仅解决了采出废水中的硫化物去除难题,同时实现了资源回收(S0)和主要代谢终产物(如N2)的无污染排放。 展开更多

为分析影响盐腌鸭蛋中“黑黄”产生的因素,本实验通过色度值和金属离子含量测定以及蛋白质组学分析,对比“黑黄”咸蛋和正常咸蛋不同部位的差异,初步确定与“黑黄”形成有关的因素,再通过单因素试验进一步研究这些因素对黑黄形成程度和... 为分析影响盐腌鸭蛋中“黑黄”产生的因素,本实验通过色度值和金属离子含量测定以及蛋白质组学分析,对比“黑黄”咸蛋和正常咸蛋不同部位的差异,初步确定与“黑黄”形成有关的因素,再通过单因素试验进一步研究这些因素对黑黄形成程度和速率的影响。结果表明,Fe、Cu含量越高,蛋黄色度值越小,“黑黄”越黑,推测卵黄高磷蛋白中Fe2+与S2-结合形成的硫化物是使蛋黄变黑的原因,半胱氨酸的降解脱硫是蛋黄产硫的主要原因。微生物浓度、温度、pH值是影响黑黄产生的主要因素,鸭蛋载菌量和腌制温度越高,黑黄率越高;pH7.0~8.0范围内均可产生H2S,其中pH7.5时产气速率最快。综上,可以推测“黑黄”是由蛋黄内硫元素与铁元素之间的变色反应造成,腌制过程中的温度、pH值以及鸭蛋本身的载菌量对“黑黄”现象均有较大影响。 展开更多

目的有效处理含硫尾气,确保装置“安、稳、长、满、优”运行。方法采用Aspen Plus V11软件基于Peng-Robinson热力学模型对改进络合铁装置的H_(2)S处理过程进行了全流程模拟,并根据Box-Behnken Design对其进行了响应面设计,得到了最佳H_(... 目的有效处理含硫尾气,确保装置“安、稳、长、满、优”运行。方法采用Aspen Plus V11软件基于Peng-Robinson热力学模型对改进络合铁装置的H_(2)S处理过程进行了全流程模拟,并根据Box-Behnken Design对其进行了响应面设计,得到了最佳H_(2)S脱除率及其对应的优化操作参数。结果此模拟流程能够较好地反映改进络合铁装置的实际运行情况,可以作为后续优化研究的基础模型。当循环溶液温度为47.2℃、循环溶液中Fe^(3+)质量分数为8.4100%、循环溶液体积流量为3.12 m^(3)/h、电解槽电压为0.64 V时,改进络合铁装置的H_(2)S脱除率高达99.999988%。此时,外排气中H_(2)S质量浓度为9.5 mg/m^(3),完全可以满足外排气中H_(2)S质量浓度不大于10 mg/m^(3)的约束条件;t检验结果表明,采用响应面法优化得到的预测值和验证值之间不存在显著差异,其准确度一致。结论该研究结果可为进一步提升含H_(2)S尾气处理水平提供准确、可靠的理论支撑和数据来源。 展开更多
