Self-experience of buried seeds at auricular points in depressive patients with sleep disorder: a qualitative research

Objective To explore the self-experience of burying seeds at auricular points in depressive patients with sleep disorder,so as to seek possible approaches to improve the quality of care.Methods Eleven patients involved in a three-week randomized controlled clinical trial were purposefully interviewed by the experienced,qualified counselor.The process of thematic analysis was applied in this study,the self-experience was discussed and recorded,transcribed,and analyzed accordingly.Results Four themes related to self-experience were extracted,these included the deficiency in relevant support,passive acceptance,distrust,expectation and further advice.Conclusion There was an urgent demand of humane care and emotional support,which might improve compliance of the treatment to some extent in terms of health education.Additionally,medical practitioners should provide the patient with comprehensive support,professional health education,as well as standardize training program for TCM operator and control the operation’s quality.

Operational procedures of auricular point sticking technology

As an external treatment technique of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),auricular point sticking,which is rooted in holographic biology theory and TCM viscera and meridian theory,is a safe and effective treatment method.This article introduces the technology overview and development process.The auricular point sticking technique for constipation is taken as an example to specify the basic requirements,assessment,operational points,acupoint selection and matters needing attention during the implementation of the auricular acupressure technique,providing a reference for the operating procedures of this technique in the clinical treatment of other diseases such as insomnia,diarrhea,colds,hypertension,headache,and dysmenorrhea.

The use of traditional Chinese medicine internally and externally combined with auricular acupuncture point bloodletting in the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia

Vulvar leukoplakia refers to the chronic disease of degeneration and hypopigmentation of the skin and mucous membrane of the vulva with unbearable itching in women, seriously affecting the quality of life. The main treatment of western medicine for vulvar leukoplakia is the external use of glucocorticoids or estrogen, resulting to the high recurrence rate and side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has the characteristics of the overall concept and dialectical treatment with a variety of ways. Literature review in recent years found that the treatment of TCM decoction combined with external therapies, such as external fumigation, acupuncture and other treatments, or the combination of TCM decoction and external western medicine hormone ointment, can obtain good effects in vulvar leukoplakia. During the clinical practice, we found that the use of TCM internally and externally combined with auricular acupuncture point bloodletting was highly effective with unique advantages in the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia, providing the ideas guidance for clinicians.

OBSERVATION ON 30 CASES WITH TEMPOROMANDIBULAR ARTICULAR DYSFUNCTION SYNDROME TREATED BY AURICULAR-POINT-PRESSING THERAPY

The writer has treated 30 cases of temporomandibular articular dysfunction syn-drome with only auricular pressing therapy. The method: A seed of vaccaria segetalis is used to tapethe Antitratic Apex point and the Shenmen point of ear, then the practitioner presses the seed withhand to produce sensations, such as distension, numbness, heat, and a little sweating etc.. Exchangtwo sides of the ears alternatively. The treatment is performed once every two or three days and threetimes are constituted one course. In one or three courses we can obtain the therapeutic effectiveness as50% cured, 43% improved and 6.7% failed.

PRELIMINARY REPORT OF TREATMENT ON STUFFY NOSE AND TINNITUS BY NEEDLING AURICULAR POINT VAGUS NERVE ROOT

This paper introduces the discovery of the acupoint of auricular vagus nerve rootand its function. Especially the therapeutic effect is immediate for stuffy nose and tinnitus. It is easy,simple and effective therapeutic method without side-effect.

NEIMADIAN-POINT ACUPUNCTURE AND AURICULAR-POINT PRESSING USED FOR ORTHOPAEDIC POSTOPERATIVE ANALGESIA

The authors have treated 64 cases of orthopaedic postoperative pains by Neimadian-point acupuncture and auricular-ponit pressing with satisfactory results. In this paper, therapeuticmethods, therapeutic-effect observations and typical cases are reported, and the analgetie mechanismis preliminarily explored as well.

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON AURICULAR POINT TREATMENT FOR 144 CASES OF BILIARY COLIC

In this study, 144 cases of biliary colic were treated by injecting Atropine in the auricu-lar points (Liver, Gallbladder). Among the 144 cases, 130 cases were markedly effective, 11 cases ef-fective and 3 cases ineffective, with the effective rate being 97. 90%. The results showed that therewas no difference between colic degrees, ages and analgesic effects. But analgesic effects for biliary as-cariosis and cholecystitis, cholelithiasis are much better than choledochal calculus (P【0.01).

CONSTIPATION TREATED BY AURICULAR ACUPOINT PRESSING COMBINED WITH ACUPUNCTURE AT ZUSANLI POINT

This paper reports that 65 cases with functional constipation were treated by putting one Wang Bu Liu Xing (semen vaccariae) seed on each acupoint, Intestinum crassum, Intestinum tenue,Sympathicum, Lung, Spleen, Subcortex, of auricula and pressing, associated with acupuncture at Zusanli point on both sides. The patients were instructed to press the stuck seed twice a day for 3 to 5 minutes each time. Auricular acupoints of both sides were used alternately every 2 days. The electric acupuncture was applied at Zusanli points about 30 minutes each time every other day. Ten times (i. e. 20 days) make one course of treatment and the routine treatment consists of 1 to 2 courses. The results showed that all the patients were cured, patients with Shi Mi (the constipation of excess type) were cured after one course of treatrnent while Xu Mi (the constipation of deficiency type) were cured after two courses. The study suggests that this kind of treatment is an ideal therapy for functional constipation. The pathogenesis and mechanism of treatment of auricular acupuncture pressing associated with acupuncture at Zusanli point for constipation are discussed.

CLINICAL APPLICATION OF MODEL CLRH-A AURICULAR POINT DETECTOR

In this study, we have observed the conditions of clinical application of Model CLRHA Auricular Point Detector from the aspects of accessory diagnosis and effective comparison of acupuncture at positive point and non-positive point. The preliminary results show that using this device to seek reaction point is quick and reliable, the coincidence rate of diagnosis is higher (76. 77 % ); the indix is objective. It can effectively direct doctors to select acupoints correctly for treatment, resulting in improving the therapeutic effect. The results of contrastive observation show that the therapeutic effect of positive point group is much better than that of non-positive point group (P < 0. 001 ). This instrument has following characteristics, i. e. it is simple, safe, small and exquisite to be portable, and economic. It is more suitable to the clinical needs, possessing a higher practical value.

Clinical Study on Suanzaoren Decoction (酸枣仁汤) Combined with Auricular Points Pressing Beans in Treating Insomnia

Objective:To study the curative effect of oral Suanzaoren Decoction(酸枣仁汤)combined with pressing beans at auricular points on insomnia.Methods:80 patients with insomnia were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated by auricular points pressing beans therapy,while the observation group was treated with oral Suanzaoren Decoction combined with auricular points pressing beans therapy.Adjust auricular points pressing beans and decoction once a week,4 times as a course of treatment,totaling 2 courses of treatment.The time of falling asleep,the time of sleeping and the number of awakening before and after treatment were compared in the two groups,and the total effective rate of sleep quality between the two groups was compared.Results:After treatment,the quality of sleep in both groups was better than that before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the total effective rate of grade I sleep quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Oral Suanzaoren Decoction combined with pressing beans at auricular points has a significant effect on insomnia,which is superior to pressing beans at auricular points alone.

Effects of auricular point pressing + Danshen Dropping Pill on platelet function, inflammatory response and protease expression in patients with stable angina pectoris

Objective:To investigate the effects of auricular point pressing plus Danshen Dropping Pill on platelet function, inflammatory response and protease expression in patients with stable angina pectoris.Methods:A total of 92 patients with stable angina pectoris who were treated in this hospital between November 2014 and November 2017 were divided into the auricular point pressing group (n=46) and routine group (n=46) by random number table method. Routine group were treated with routine western medicine plus Danshen Dropping Pill, auricular point pressing group were treated with auricular point pressing on the basis of the therapy of routine group, and both groups had been continuously treated for 1 month. The differences in platelet function, inflammatory response and protease expression were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the platelet activation index levels, serum inflammatory factor contents or protease expression between the two groups. After 1 month of treatment, peripheral blood platelet activation index CD42b level of auricular point pressing group was higher than that of routine group whereas CD63 and PAC-1 levels were lower than those of routine group;serum inflammatory factors IL-6, IL-10, IL-18 and hs-CRP contents were lower than those of routine group;serum proteases MMP-1, MMP-2 and MMP-9 contents were lower than those of routine group.Conclusion:Compound Danshen Dropping Pill combined with auricular point pressing can further optimize the platelet function and improve the systemic inflammatory state and protease expression in patients with stable angina pectoris.

A study of acupoint selection rules of moxibustion and auricular point therapy in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery based on data mining

Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,and further to obtain new prescriptions.Methods:We searched CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM databases for the literature of moxibustion and auricular point therapy for urinary retention after anorectal surgery,collecting complete prescriptions and entering them into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).The acupoint frequency,association rules,and combination rules were analyzed by data mining method of software integration.Results:126 moxibustion prescriptions were selected,and the acupoints for urinary retention after anorectal surgery in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency≥6,9 acupoint combinations with frequency≥26,5 acupoints with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations and 3 new prescription.124 auricular point prescriptions were selected,and the relevant acupoints in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency of use≥18,15 acupoint combinations with frequency≥40,12 acupoint combinations with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations,and 3 new prescriptions.The core points include Qihai(RN6),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4).The auricular point therapy is more to select the tenderness points and acupoints that have an impact on the urinary system,mainly including“Pangguang”(CO9),“Shenmen”(TF4),“Shen”(CO10),“Sanjiao”(CO17),“Pizhixia”(AT4),“Niaodao”(HX3),“Fei”(CO14),“Jiaogan”(AH6a).Conclusion:Moxibustion for the treatment of urinary retention is mainly based on invigorating“Primordial Qi”and regulating the functions of“Middle Jiao”(refers to the area of the body just below the diaphragm and above the navel that helps produce delicate nutrients).The entropic clustering of complex systems excavated new prescriptions for the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,providing new ideas for future research and treatment.

Clinical Effect of Auricular Point Sticking in Patients with Lung Cancer Receiving Chemotherapy

Objective:To discuss and analyze the clinical effect of auricular point sticking in lung cancer chemotherapy.Methods:Sixty-two patients with lung cancer treated with chemotherapy in Suqian Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangxi Province were selected for case evaluation and analysis.The time span of the research was from June 2020 to June 2021.The patients were divided into two groups:a study group(n=31)and a control group(n=31)based on their medical record numbers.All the patients were treated with conventional western medicine before and after chemotherapy to prevent adverse reactions;however,the patients in the study group were also treated with auricular point sticking in addition to the fonner.The relevant indexes of the two groups were compared.Results:The incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the study group compared to the control group(P<0.05);the rate of symptomatic relief of the patients in the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the stress response indexes toward chemotherapy of the study group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05)・Conclusion:Auricular point sticking for patients with lung cancer who are receiving chemotherapy can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,alleviate clinical symptoms,such as chest distress,asthma,and poor appetite,significantly alleviate stress response caused by chemotherapy,as well as promote the treatment effect;thus,it is worthy of promotion.

耳穴揿针对改善胃癌根治术后患者胃肠功能及营养状况的效果

目的探讨耳穴揿针对胃癌根治术后患者胃肠功能及营养状况的影响。方法选取2021年6月—2022年3月江苏省中医院接受胃癌根治术的68例患者为研究对象,按照组间基本特征具有可比性的原则分为观察组与对照组,每组34例。对照组患者予以常规护理,观察组患者在此基础上接受耳穴揿针疗法,两组患者干预3天,对比其胃肠功能恢复情况、术后第3天的胃肠道不良反应、术后第7天的机体营养状况。结果观察组患者术后肠鸣音恢复时间、首次排便时间短于对照组,组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组患者术后首次排气时间比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。观察组患者术后第3天腹胀、恶心呕吐发生率低于对照组,组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。术前1 d,两组患者的血清总蛋白(TP)、前白蛋白(PA)比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);术后7 d,两组TP水平比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),但观察组患者PA水平高于对照组,组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论耳穴揿针可以促进胃癌术后患者肠鸣音恢复,缩短首次排便时间,有效降低胃癌根治术后患者恶心、呕吐及腹胀的胃肠道不良反应发生率,提高术后患者机体营养水平,从而提升生活质量,促进术后康复。

艾盐包联合穴位贴敷、耳穴压豆对血液肿瘤化疗患者生活质量及不良反应的影响

目的:观察艾盐包联合穴位贴敷、耳穴压豆对血液肿瘤化疗患者生活质量及不良反应的影响。方法:选取接受化疗治疗的150例血液肿瘤患者为研究对象,随机分为观察组及对照组各75例。2组均给予盐酸托烷司琼注射液、异甘草酸镁注射液、人血白蛋白等常规治疗,观察组加用艾盐包联合穴位贴敷、耳穴压豆治疗。比较2组临床疗效、化疗不良反应发生情况,以及2组治疗前后Herth希望量表(HHI)、生活质量测定量表(QLICP-LE)评分变化。结果:观察组总有效率为80.00%,对照组为62.67%,2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组胃肠道不良反应发生率为60.00%,对照组为77.33%,2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组骨髓抑制、黏膜毒性反应、肝肾损害、过敏及其他反应发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),观察组恶心呕吐总发生率为46.67%,对照组为66.67%,2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后,2组HHI、QLICP-LE评分均较治疗前升高(P<0.05),且观察组HHI、QLICP-LE评分均高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:常规西药联合艾盐包、穴位贴敷、耳穴压豆可提高血液肿瘤患者的化疗态度及生存信念,降低恶心呕吐发生率,改善生活质量,临床疗效确切。

耳穴贴压结合腕踝针对老年髋部骨折病人术后谵妄的影响

目的:探讨耳穴贴压结合腕踝针对老年髋部骨折病人术后谵妄的作用。方法:将120例老年髋部骨折择期手术病人随机分为对照组、耳穴贴压组、腕踝针组、耳穴贴压结合腕踝针组,每组30例,按照不同方式进行干预。比较4组病人术后谵妄的发生率及其严重程度、疼痛视觉模拟(VAS)评分、血清白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)。结果:对照组病人术后谵妄发生率最高,耳穴贴压结合腕踝针组术后谵妄发生率最低。耳穴贴压结合腕踝针组病人谵妄评定量表(CAM-CR)评分、VAS评分及血清IL-6、TNF-α水平均低于其他3组(P<0.05)。结论:耳穴贴压结合腕踝针可降低老年髋部骨折病人术后谵妄发生率及严重程度,可有效减轻围术期疼痛,降低血清炎性细胞因子IL-6、TNF-α水平。

耳穴压豆联合艾灸在减重术后患者中的应用效果

目的探究耳穴压豆联合艾灸在腹腔镜袖状胃切除术(LSG)后患者中的应用效果。方法选取2018年3月至2022年11月期间在普外一科接受LSG的105例患者作为研究对象,采用随机抽签法将其分为对照组(n=53)与试验组(n=52)。对照组术后采用常规护理加认知行为模式进行干预,试验组在对照组护理的基础上,于术后6个月时增加使用艾灸联合耳穴压豆方法干预。比较2组患者手术后6、8、10、12个月所测体重、体重指数(BMI)、腰臀比(WHR)、体脂率(BF)、内脏脂肪面积(VFA)、多余体重减少百分比(EWL)、总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)和高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)水平。结果术后6个月,2组体重、BMI、WHR、BF、VFA、EWL、TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。术后8、10和12个月时,试验组体重、BMI、WHR、BF、VFA、TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C明显低于对照组(P<0.05或P<0.001),且EWL明显高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论耳穴压豆联合艾灸应用于LSG术后的患者可以有效提高其代谢水平,调节其内分泌功能,有助于巩固减重手术的中长期效果,预防术后复胖的发生。

耳穴贴压联合渐进性肌肉放松操治疗广泛性焦虑障碍患者临床疗效观察

[目的]探讨耳穴贴压联合渐进性肌肉放松操治疗对广泛性焦虑障碍患者疗效观察。[方法]选取2021年6月—2022年5月三甲医院心身科住院患者140例为研究对象,随机分为对照组和观察组各70例。对照组采用三位一体加中医内科护理常规,观察组在三位一体治疗加中医护理常规的基础上配合采用耳穴贴压技术结合渐进性肌肉放松操,观察两组广泛性焦虑障碍患者治疗效果。[结果]分别比较观察组和对照组患者治疗前后焦虑自评量表(SAS)、抑郁自评量表(SDS)、汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)、汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD)评分,观察组治疗后所有评分均下降,且观察组SAS评分小于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01),同时治疗前后中医证候积分比较,观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。[结论]将中医耳穴贴压联合渐进性肌肉放松操两者结合,以特有的中西医结合互补模式,降低了患者对西药治疗的抗拒与恐惧,其操作易于接受,提高了治疗的依从性,取得了良好效果,值得在临床心身疾病中广泛使用。

耳穴压豆干预在肝郁脾虚型乙肝患者中的应用效果

目的观察耳穴压豆干预在肝郁脾虚型乙肝患者中的应用效果。方法选取2023年1月至5月南昌市第九医院收治的80例自述睡眠质量下降的肝郁脾虚型乙肝患者为对象,按随机数字表法分为观察组和对照组,每组各40例。对照组接受常规护理干预,观察组在此基础上接受耳穴压豆干预,两组均干预14 d。干预前后使用匹兹堡睡眠指数评分(PSQI)、汉密顿焦虑量表(HAMA)、汉密顿抑郁量表(HAMD)、诺丁汉健康调查问卷(NHP)、自制护理满意度调查表分别评价两组患者的睡眠质量、负性心理(HAMA、HAMD)、生活质量及护理满意度。结果干预后,观察组睡眠质量优于对照组,HAMA、HAMD、NHP各维度评分低于对照组,护理满意度优于对照组,总满意度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论耳穴压豆干预可改善肝郁脾虚型乙肝患者睡眠质量,对减缓负性心理,提高生活质量有积极意义,患者较为满意。
