Evolution of the Socio-cognitive Structure of Knowledge Management(1986–2015): An Author Co-citation Analysis

Purpose: The evolution of the socio-cognitive structure of the field of knowledge management(KM) during the period 1986–2015 is described. Design/methodology/approach: Records retrieved from Web of Science were submitted to author co-citation analysis(ACA) following a longitudinal perspective as of the following time slices: 1986–1996, 1997–2006, and 2007–2015. The top 10% of most cited first authors by sub-periods were mapped in bibliometric networks in order to interpret the communities formed and their relationships.Findings: KM is a homogeneous field as indicated by networks results. Nine classical authors are identified since they are highly co-cited in each sub-period, highlighting Ikujiro Nonaka as the most influential authors in the field. The most significant communities in KM are devoted to strategic management, KM foundations, organisational learning and behaviour, and organisational theories. Major trends in the evolution of the intellectual structure of KM evidence a technological influence in 1986–1996, a strategic influence in 1997–2006, and finally a sociological influence in 2007–2015.Research limitations: Describing a field from a single database can offer biases in terms of output coverage. Likewise, the conference proceedings and books were not used and the analysis was only based on first authors. However, the results obtained can be very useful to understand the evolution of KM research.Practical implications: These results might be useful for managers and academicians to understand the evolution of KM field and to(re)define research activities and organisational projects.Originality/value: The novelty of this paper lies in considering ACA as a bibliometric technique to study KM research. In addition, our investigation has a wider time coverage than earlier articles.

Study Progress Analysis of Effluent Quality Prediction in Activated Sludge Process Based on CiteSpace

In this paper, CiteSpace, a bibliometrics software, was adopted to collect research papers published on the Web of Science, which are relevant to biological model and effluent quality prediction in activated sludge process in the wastewater treatment. By the way of trend map, keyword knowledge map, and co-cited knowledge map, specific visualization analysis and identification of the authors, institutions and regions were concluded. Furthermore, the topics and hotspots of water quality prediction in activated sludge process through the literature-co-citation-based cluster analysis and literature citation burst analysis were also determined, which not only reflected the historical evolution progress to a certain extent, but also provided the direction and insight of the knowledge structure of water quality prediction and activated sludge process for future research.

The most highly-cited authors who published papers on the topic of health behavior: A Bibliometric Analysis

Background: Health behavior (HB) is an action taken by a person who pursues good health and prevents illness. Health behavior, thus, reflects a person’s health beliefs and attracts, particularly, on published papers in academics. However, who is the most influential author (MIA) with highly-cited papers on HB remains unknown. Objective: The purpose of this study is to apply the authorship-weighted scheme (AWS) developed by authors to select the MIA on HB using the visual displays on Google Maps. Methods: We obtained 1,116 abstracts published between 2012 and 2016 from Medline based on the keywords of (health [Title]) and (behavior [Title] or behavior [Title]) on September 22, 2018. The author names, countries/areas, and Pubmed paper IDs were recorded. The AWS was applied to (1) select the most productive authors (MPA) using social network analysis (SNA);(2) discover the MIA using h-indexes and author impact factors (AIF) dispersed on Google Maps, and (3) display the countries/areas distributed for the x-index in geography. Pajek software was performed to determine the partition categories of clusters. Results: We found that the MPA and MIA are Matthew K Nock (US) and Erika A Waters (US) for the MPA and MIA, respectively. All visual representations that are the form of a dashboard can be easily displayed on Google Maps. The most influential countries are the US (=19.03) and Australia (=6.46) with the highest x-indexes. Readers are suggested to manipulate them on their own on Google Maps. Conclusion: Many individual researchers achievements (IRA) were determined using h-index, AIF, x-index, or other bibliometric indices without quantifying author contributions. We demonstrated visualized representations on Google Maps using the AWS developed by authors to measure authors influences in a specific discipline. The research approach using the AWS to quantify the authors contributions can be applied to measure IRA in the future.

Accuracy analysis of a single-fault Markov model for FADEC system

Time-limited dispatching(TLD)analysis of the full authority digital engine control(FADEC)systems is an important part of the aircraft system safety analysis and a necessary task for the certification of commercial aircraft and aeroengines.In the time limited dispatch guidance document ARP5107B,a single-fault Markov model(MM)approach is proposed for TLD analysis.However,ARP5107B also requires that the loss of thrust control(LOTC)rate error calculated by applying the single-fault MM must be less than 5%when performing airworthiness certification.Firstly,the sources of accuracy errors in three kinds of MM are analyzed and specified through a case study of the general FADEC system,and secondly a two-fault MM considering maintenance policy is established through analyzing and calculating the expected repair time when two related faults happen.Finally,a specific FADEC system is given to study on the influence factors of accuracy error in the single-fault MM,and the results show that the accuracy error of the single-fault MM decreases with the increase of short or long prescribed dispatch time,and the range values of short time(ST)and long time(LT)are determined to satisfy the requirement of accuracy error within 5%.

Improvement analysis of article quality in World Journal of Gastroenterology during 2008-2012

AIM:To understand the changes and development of World Journal of Gastroenterology(WJG)in recent years.METHODS:The Journal Citation Report(JCR)and SCI-E database of the ISI Web of Knowledge were used to search the articles and data of related indices in WJG during 2008-2012.Bibliometric methods were used for statistical analysis of the author’s degree of collaboration,collaboration rate,the first author’s publications,high-productivity authors,the authors’origins in each year;the distribution of the countries and journals of the authors citing WJG papers was also analyzed.In addition,the indices related to this journal in each year were compared with the data from 6 SCI journals in the field of gastroenterology in the 2012 volume.RESULTS:A total of 4409 papers in WJG were examined in this study.For the period 2008-2012,the selfcitation rate was 8.59%,6.02%,5.50%,4.47%and5.21%.Of a total of 3898 first authors,3526 published1 paper,291 published 2 papers,59 published 3 papers,and 22 published 4 or more papers.The origin of WJG authors covered the six continents,and the majority came from Asia,Europe and North America.The number of countries of origin of WJG authors was65,66,61,65 an 60 for the period 2008-2012.Authors from 66 countries cited a total of 3194 of the 4409 papers,and these citations were found in 1140 journals.CONCLUSION:The results suggest that WJG has stayed on the track of normal international publication and all the indices of this journal are stable and reasonable.

Visualizing the Intellectual Structure in Innovation System Studies: A Journal Cocitation Analysis

A journal co-citation analysis of top cited journals in the innovation ecosystem discipline was conducted over three periods spanning the years of 2002 to 2019.Relevant data retrieved from the Web of Science database were analyzed according to the highly cited journals.The results of current study show that innovation ecosystem is muti-disciplinary with broad relations with other fields.Management,marketing,technology and innovation,information management,economy,entrepreneurship and sociology play an important role in innovation ecosystem field,given their position and role in the research network.The paper generates the added value mainly from the point of view of theory development.

Analysis of Renewable Energy Research Hotspots and Trends Based on Bibliometric and Patent Survey

In recent years,renewable energy has taken on an increasingly important role as a result of the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the pressure of climate change.Due to the advantages of clean energy production and wide availability,research on renewable energy has increased worldwide.We collected data from the Web of Science and the Derwent Innovations Index to analyze research trends in the field of renewable energy.It was found that the number of research achievements in this field has developed rapidly worldwide since 2005.The United States ranks first in the quantity and quality of literature and fourth in the number of authorized patents.China ranks second and first regarding the quantity of literature and authorized patents,respectively.Biomass energy,wind energy,and solar energy are trending research topics in various stages of development.China has maintained close cooperation with the United States,the United Kingdom,Australia,and other countries.

Environmental Monitoring of Ambient Outdoor, Indoor Air Quality Pollutants, PM 10 and PM 2.5 Conducted to Evaluate Its Impact Analysis and Quantification in Industrial Area of Dammam, KSA

The core objective of this study is to conduct precise and real-time monitoring of the industrial area Dammam located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) which consists of a number of various chemicals, minerals and petrochemicals along with administrative blocks. The objective of this study is to monitor possible outdoor and indoor air pollutant in the industry working environment. This study shall help us to enable decision to be made on appropriate control measures as may be required to protect the health of employee and occupant who may be exposed to air contamination at workplace. Air pollution monitoring in ambient air environment finding shall be compared with national ambient air quality environmental standard while parameters monitoring in indoor air environment is compared with international standards such as occupational health and safety administration (OSHA), National institute for occupational safety and health (NIOSH) and Australian national health and medical research council (NHMRC). This environment review study for ensuring industry regulatory compliance for the facility and general authority of meteorology and environmental protection (GAMEP) previously known as presidency of meteorology environment (PME). This study shall be comprehensive in nature and cover two major types of monitoring and assessment such as ambient air quality monitoring and indoor air quality monitoring.

Visualization Analysis of Research on Student Classroom Engagement by Knowledge Mapping

The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading development situation within the research field related to student classroom engagement.Using knowledge mapping tools,this paper conducted the visualization analysis on internationalliteraturein relation to student classroom engagementfrom the Web of Science databases.By combination of the statistical data and visualizationmapping,this paper studied on the research relationship networks and status for the co-authors'countries/institutions,co-citation documents/journalsand co-occurring keywordsbased on the sample datafromliterature.The results indicate that the number ofpublished papershasincreased obviously and expanded graduallysince 2000.Main countries and institutions of researches were the UnitedStates,Australia,United Kingdom,Canada and China in order,and these countries had intense collaboration.The theoretical basis of the research come from education and teaching,psychology.The hotspots of researches fromthe global literature coveredvarious fields including achievement,motivation,behavior,education,performance.As a result of the multidisciplinary integration,many relevant internationalresearch constantly expanded the research scopes,which promoted the combination and development of theories.

Key Points of Supervision of Third-Party Payment Business:A Comparative Analysis of China's Mainland and Macao

China's Mainland has witnessed remarkable achievements in payment innovations based on internet and financial technologies in recent years,whereas Macao has made little progress in financial technologies,especially in payment technologies.Based on the concept and types of third-party payment business in China's Mainland and Macao,as well as to investigate the causes for Macao’s lack of innovation in third-party payment,this study compares their differences from two aspects:business licensing authorities and key points of supervision.By comparison,although the classification and methods of third-party payment businesses are different between China's Mainland and Macao,they are all managed and licensed by a unified supervision department.Moreover,the key points of supervision in both places are similar,but unlike China's Mainland,which takes financial risk prevention as the principle and financial technology as the means to encourage innovation,Macao showed obvious deficiencies.In order to further deepen the connection between the financial markets of China's Mainland and Macao as well as boost financial technologies in Macao,this study aims to provide some suggestions and references for the development of cross-border payment systems.

Innovation systems and global value chains:A Co-citation analysis of established linkages and possible future trends

This study draws a historical picture of conceptual linkages of innovation systems(IS)and global value chains(GVC).We used a co-citation technique to map the evolution of these two fields since 1990.We highlighted the connecting nodes over the past three decades.The first decade witnessed a connection between national innovation systems(NIS)and GVC,mediated by regional studies related to industrial clusters and district-based innovation.The tradeoff between tacit sticky local and codified transferable global knowledge and innovation and learning's importance in upgrading in GVC generated two new routes in the second decade.In the last decade,although these routes are retained,their mediating nodes have changed with the literature on technology and sustainable transition from IS and the path dependency role in the evolution of districts in global production networks.Recent trends indicate that evolutionary views on economic geography and catch-up may open new opportunities to link the two,and some lessons highlight the need for more structured interactions in the future.

Exploring the intellectual structure based on co-citation network analysis: A case study of diabetes

As the number of diabetics increases worldwide,the amount of research so as to bibliometric re-search on diabetes is also growing.In order to review the existing research on diabetes from a macro perspective and to remedy the lack of attention given to conference papers,this paper collected a total of 67,104 diabetes-related conference papers on the theme of"diabetes"up to 23 October 2020 in the core collection of Web of Science.Tools for bibliometric analysis include Citespace and vosviewer and other tools such as Excel and Origin are applied for statistical analysis and visualization of the results.Consequently,publication trend,document co-citation,journal co-citation and author co-citation are analyzed based on these papers,and core docu-ments,journals and authors are identified.This study not only shows the current situation of a-cademic conferences related to diabetes research but also,to a certain extent,reveals the devel-opment of the diabetes research situation in the whole field.Meanwhile,this study quantitatively analyzed the intellectual base on diabetes,which can be an illustration of the benefits of biblio-metric analysis as a tool in scientific research.

我国实施护士处方权的环境SWOT分析与建议

目的对我国实施护士处方权的内外环境进行分析,厘清内部优势和劣势、外部机遇和威胁,为进一步推进开展护士处方权的工作提出建议。方法搜集相关政策文件、研究文献等,运用SWOT方法对护士处方权实施环境进行分析,并提出建议。结果当前,我国实施护士处方权的优势包括:护理专科门诊发展、专科护理人才储备;劣势包括法律政策不健全、护士群体自身的局限;机遇主要有政府重视、专家共识的形成、理论和实践研究的推进;劣势包括教育准备不足、相关利益主体的抵制。结论结合实际,我国应并轨培养提高护士人才质量,加强立法为护士处方权的实施保驾护航,构建医务人员利益共同体,最后逐步扩大护士处方权试点区域,创新我国护士处方权实施机制。

车车通信移动授权的功能建模及性能分析

车车通信列车运行控制系统中移动授权的生成对城市轨道交通运营效率有着较大的影响。通过分析车车通信列车运行控制系统中移动授权的生成过程及性能,建立基于有色Petri网(colored Petri net,CPN)的车车通信移动授权信息交互的模型,进行性能分析。研究移动授权生成过程中端对端通信传输时延的延时概率,根据不同信道质量下统计传输时延的平均值,计算移动授权完成的成功率。分析结果表明,基于车车通信的列车运行控制系统移动授权的生成过程,符合地铁长期演进(long term evolution for metro,LTE-M)系统端到端延时时间不大于150 ms的概率不小于98%,时延随着信道质量的下降而增加。
