Epiphanic Revival: Exploring Metallic Finishes on Batik Fabrics in Ghana

Batik fabric is an integral part of the traditional cloth culture of the Ghanaian traditional setting. However, the batik fabric has marginal usage due to its casual visual appearance. This studio practice seeks to explore the epiphanic revival in the use of metallic finishes on batik substrate to create an enhanced visual appearance with embellished aesthetic sensibilities and diversified use. The researchers adopted the studio-based approach of the qualitative design to manipulate handmade tools, techniques (collagraph) and the batik fabrics through experimentation to produce a glittering mercurial batik fabric which is typically an industrial practice. The studio practice took place at the Textile Design and Technology studio, Takoradi Technical University, Ghana. The traditional batik fabric was manipulated through fabric decoration techniques in accordance with studio-based practices. The Addie model was adopted as a methodological approach in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation processes of the experimentation processes of the study. Findings revealed that the hand techniques used in the production process for the metallic prints produced interesting accidentals finishes and effects that machine work cannot achieve, producing new discoveries of visual enhancements of traditional batik fabric. Traditional batiks became mercurial with glittery effects. The metallic prints on the fabric also changed its consumption pattern from mere casual fabric to classic and cosmopolitan fabric for varied uses suitable for wearable to non-wearable.

设计说明:Batik工艺具有漫长的历史,作为一种源于自然的艺术形式,它反映了生命体与世界间的和谐关系。本项目作品运用数字影像处理技术对设计者绘制出来的黑色区块进行分析,并基于深度学习技术学得的Batik风格转化模型,实时转化成特定蜡染风格,从而让设计者摆脱场地与工具等限制,在白纸上就能绘制出具有特定蜡染风格的艺术作品。在转化过程中,本项目运用卷积神经网络,根据摄像机画面即时产生风格实现转化后的视觉,并保证电脑对特殊Batik风格模型的学习,以及与体验者的即时互动体验。

基于SVG及Batik平台的监控绘图软件的设计与实现

在研究Batik应用的基础上,对监控绘图软件进行了设计和实现;使用UML对系统进行分析设计,使得对系统进行的构造实现更快、质量更高;扩展了电力监控系统软件的图形操作能力,为应用系统提供更灵活的图形支持功能,并促进图形支持的网络化、文档化发展和可互操作性的提高。

Development of Small and Medium Enterprises （SMEs） Accounting Information System in Cluster of Kampung Laweyan Batik, Surakarta, Indonesia

The role of small and medium enterprises （SMEs） in the economy of a country was quite strategic, however the tightness of the competition, has allowed the SMEs into disadvantageous position. The SMEs need a precise accounting information system, thus the SMEs could improve the accuracy, validation data, productivity, and the competitiveness of enterprises. The problem of this research is how the SMEs accounting information systems in a cluster of Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta. To develop accounting information systems in a SMEs cluster of Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, this research used research and development （R＆D） method. Data obtained through analysis of the company＇s business processes. Results of data analysis used to develop accounting information systems in a SMEs cluster of Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta. Accounting information system development consists of the structure of SMEs organizations, the general design of accounting information systems of the SMEs, flowchart and documentation of the SMEs accounting information systems, and accounting software of the SMEs

Analysis of Batik Value Chain in Ethnic Minority Areas--A Case Study of Danzhai County in Guizhou Province

Based on value chain analysis method,we surveyed and interviewed interest groups of batik industry in Danzhai County.From raw material production,product processing,marketing,organization and management,we discussed the supply chain of batik products in ethnic minority areas,and analyzed favorable factors of batik industry development and obstacles to interest groups developing batik industry.Finally,we put forward corresponding policy suggestions,including strengthening farmers' ability in batik production section,enhancing capability construction of batik cooperatives and associations,increasing cultural value added of batik products,bolster policy and financial support of government departments,and promoting establishment of cooperative mechanism for handicrafts.

Inheritance and Development of Batik in Rongjiang Country,Guizhou Province under the Background of Big Data

This paper takes the protection research of Guizhou Rongjiang batik as a starting point by literature search and field investigation.Firstly,the background of big data and the value of Rongjiang batik are briefly analyzed.Secondly,the intangible cultural heritage(ICH)protection and industrial development status of Rongjiang batik are investigated.Finally,the use of big data technology is proposed to promote the inheritance and development of Rongjiang batik and enable the applicaiton of its modern design for keeping pace with the times.It is necessary to make full use of the current social and public resources as well as the resources in universities for dissemination and popularization,and to build a new form of“Internet+Inheritor of ICH”.

＂A＂ New Museum of Indonesian Batik： An Architectureof ＂Showing off＂

For the ＂A＂ New Museum of Indonesian Batik, Ivan Saputra was the architect winner of the Museum Design Competition in 2013. Preparation for the competition required architectural design guidelines, which were an important part of the terms of reference for the project. This paper aims to provide an overview of the issues surrounding the work involved in the collaboration work between the Indonesian government and multi-disciplinary participants to establish museum design guidelines for this competition. By articulating and elaborating the characteristics of several famous museums design in the world, by defining relevant architectural theories, and by exploring an in-depth analysis of ＂batik＂, which UNESCO designated as Intangible Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO in 2009, the architectural design guidelines were developed based onfindings revealedby inserting ＂batik＂ itself as the museum storyline into contemporary architecture. By referring to trans-disciplinary methods and concepts, then the process of batik making is potentially a kind of architectural ＂showing off＇ to expose the uniqueness of Indonesian batik as well as the Architecture-Event theory promoted by French philosopher Jacques Derrida.

Research on the Teaching Reform of Tourism Vocational Education Based on the Idea of "Integration of Teaching and Doing"——Taking the Handicraft Course of Batik Dyeing as an Example

As a treasure of ethnic minority art and culture,in order to explore its value,inherit and develop the traditional handcrafts with national characteristics,batik has been included in the special elective courses system of tourism management,art design and other related majors in Guizhou Province;This article takes the Handicraft Course of Batik Dyeing of S Vocational School as an example,based on"teaching and doing"ideal research on the reform of classroom teaching practice to explore,and in view of the deficiency of the present teaching practice,to put forward the validity teaching design scheme,to improve Secondary Vocational Schools and Vocational Colleges students'personalized development space,to enhance the research ability of teachers'the handicraft Course of batik Dyeing,to provide reference examples for the tourism vocational education characteristic classroom teaching reform.

BATIK(蜡染)作为一种源于自然的艺术形式,反映了生命体与世界间的和谐关系。为了保留BATIK中人类的本源温度和情感,笔者分析传统BATIK传承的局限性,参考可运用的新媒体技术手段,提出利用新媒体技术结合人类生物电信号与BATIK的创新传承策略,并以此作为全新的关系纽带,让科技不再隔离人与BATIK这种古老的工艺。

蜡染技艺作为中国非物质文化遗产的重要组成部分,正面临着传承困境和现代化转型的挑战。文章聚焦于探索数字化时代背景下非遗苗族蜡染技艺的创新传承方法,分析了非遗蜡染技艺传承中存在的闭塞性、局限性和单一性问题,提出建立多元化技艺体验中心、开发数字化技艺传承渠道、完善全面化技艺反馈机制等举措,助力非遗苗族蜡染实现现代化转型。

中国传统印染技艺研究发展现状

七项传统印染技艺被列入国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录,分别是扎染技艺、蜡染技艺、蓝印花布印染技艺、香云纱染整技艺、艾德莱斯绸织染技艺、蓝夹缬以及和枫香印染技艺。当前研究重点主要有三个方面,包括纹样创新应用、产品设计开发及生产性保护和数字化保护。同时,香云纱染整技艺侧重薯莨染色工艺及河泥作用机理的研究,艾德莱斯绸织染技艺侧重宽幅及双面织物织造工艺的研究。另外,各项传统印染技艺在中国知网文献数量的差异也在一定程度上反映人们对其研究重视程度的不同。

蜡染作为国家级非物质文化遗产,因其独特的艺术性和审美价值在产品设计领域受到广泛关注和应用。随着科技的快速发展,设计生成方式不断演变,数智技术在设计中的应用愈发普及。然而,当前关于蜡染产品数智设计的研究进展和未来发展趋势尚未有全面、系统的梳理。文章以文献计量分析方法为知识基础,借助VOSviewer软件对国内外相关文献进行了系统回顾及深入分析。同时,对蜡染产品数智设计进行了内涵解读,主要从文化符号提取与语义表征、基于规则的设计生成与推理、蜡染纹理与布料染色特征模拟、蜡染图案风格迁移4个研究维度开展探讨,并聚焦于其中关键技术的发展现状与趋势。通过研究旨在为蜡染产品数智设计领域建立关键技术体系,推动传统蜡染工艺的现代化转型和创新发展。

情景体验下的丹寨蜡染“数字化传承”研究

结合文化数字化战略要求和体验式经济下对用户的重视,解决目前丹寨蜡染传承中遇到的跨时空特性、单向性传递、体验感欠缺、互动性匮乏等问题。首先从技艺类非遗的传承角度分析丹寨蜡染的传承原则,再利用数字技术在情境体验上的优势,借助VR、AR、APP等数字技术的综合应用,构建基于情景体验的丹寨蜡染数字化传承系统。实践结果显示,通过创造多感官通道的、交互性叙事的、互文性生成的体验场景,优化了服务体验、满足了用户需求,促进了非遗的保护和传承。

在“乡村振兴”的战略背景下,探析苗族蜡染在现代服饰中的创新应用成为传统苗族蜡染适应时代发展需求的必经之路。作为我国传统的染缬工艺之一,苗族蜡染有其独特的艺术价值和文化内涵,通过分析苗族蜡染在服饰产业中呈现出的使用场景有限,工艺、设计创新不足等现状,提出拓展素材来源、革新呈现方式、更新色彩设计、改进工艺流程、引入现代科技、与其他工艺形式结合等创新应用路径。

风格捕捉:基于人工智能技术的优秀传统文化数字化实践

目的厘清峇迪艺术所面临的传承与发展困境,分析当前勾连人工智能技术与峇迪艺术时所存在的不足,解决人工智能技术在传承与发展峇迪艺术时所面临的问题。方法在马来西亚所进行的为期3个月的田野调查中,与当地蜡染坊艺术家进行了深度访谈;梳理个人新媒体艺术作品“神经元蜡染”的创作经验。结果开发了一套基于机器学习算法的卷积神经网络作画系统——“神经元蜡染”,它能够让体验者通过便利的人机交互方式,将线下的普通画作实时转化为具有传统峇迪风格的在线艺术作品,具象了体验者的想法并将其呈现在数字界面中,实现了人工智能、生成艺术与传统峇迪工艺的双向互动。结论“神经元蜡染”不仅以数字化的手段为峇迪艺术提供了更加多元的表现方法,实现了古老技艺的传承和发展;还消除了时间和空间所带来的传播局限性,以蜡染为媒介增强了不同文化之间的交往、交流和交融。

秩序下的自由:黄平蜡染的设计特点与造物思想

目的黄平蜡染作为一种独特的蜡染技艺,广泛应用于亻革家人的日常生活中,具有较强的艺术特征与审美意蕴,以国家级非物质文化遗产黄平蜡染为研究对象,挖掘其图案的设计特点,探究其创作背后的造物思想,推动人们对黄平蜡染图案的深度解读,促进非遗艺术的创新和保护。方法基于文献阅读、田野调查收集黄平蜡染的图案资料,通过类比分析总结黄平蜡染图案整体的视觉表象及工艺,探索其设计特点,归纳审美特征,从源流出发探寻其造物思想。结论在亻革家人的生活环境、社会体系与文化信仰的影响下,黄平蜡染产生了秩序与自由并进的设计特点。它是亻革家人面对现实时矛盾思想的外在表现,深入了解其思想有助于加深对当地非遗文化的认知,对传统技艺的传承与创新有重要的理论价值和指导意义。

消费者驱动的[亻革]家蜡染产品设计需求分析

文章以[亻革]家蜡染产品为研究对象,探究消费者对[亻革]家蜡染产品的设计需求,以提高消费者对[亻革]家蜡染产品的满意度。首先,获取消费者对[亻革]家蜡染产品的设计需求要素,然后设计调查问卷,运用Kano模型对需求要素进行属性优化分类和排序,提出[亻革]家蜡染产品的优化建议。结果表明:不同性别、年龄、月收入的消费者对[亻革]家蜡染的设计需求侧重点不同。但总体来看,产品造型和谐、线条表现流畅、具有实用性属于必备属性;颜色不褪色、制作工艺精致、体现文化价值、图案具有设计感等属于期望属性;颜色高级、构图巧妙、具有吉祥寓意、具有创新性等属于魅力属性。
