It was shown that a suitable pretreatment at lower...The effects of stepped solution heat treatments on the dissolution of soluble remnant constituents and mechanical properties of 7055 aluminum alloy were investigated. It was shown that a suitable pretreatment at lower temperature can enable complete dissolution of the constituent particles in 7055 alloy without overheating by subsequent high temperature solution treatment. This in turn increased the tensile strength and fracture toughness of 7055 alloy to 805 MPa and 41.5 MPa·m 1/2 respectively, with approximately 9% tensile elongation. The near solvus pre precipitation following after high temperature solution treatment was also studied on 7055 aluminum alloy. The effect of the pre precipitation on the microstructure, age hardening and stress corrosion cracking of 7055 alloy was investigated. The optical and transimission electron microscopy observation show that the near solvus pre precipitation can be limited to grain boundary and enhance the discontinuity of grain boundary precipitates in the subsequent ageing. The stress corrosion cracking resistance of aged 7055 alloy can be improved via the pre precipitation with non deteriorated strength and plasticity.展开更多
Benzene series as highly toxic gases have inevitably entered human life and produce great threat to human health and ecological environment,and thus it is distinctly meaningful to monitor benzene series with quickly,r...Benzene series as highly toxic gases have inevitably entered human life and produce great threat to human health and ecological environment,and thus it is distinctly meaningful to monitor benzene series with quickly,real-time and efficient technique.Herein,novel sulfur-doped mesoporous WO_(3)materials were synthesized via classical in-situ solvent evaporation induced co-assembly strategy combined with doping engineering,which possessed highly crystallized frameworks,high specific surface area(40.9–63.8 m^(2)/g)and uniform pore size(~18 nm).Benefitting from abundant oxygen vacancy and defects via S-doping,the tailored mesoporous S/m WO_(3)exhibited excellent benzene sensing performance,including high sensitivity(50 ppm vs.48),low detection limit(ca.500 ppb),outstanding selectivity and favorable stability.In addition,the reduction of band gap resulted from S-doping promotes the carrier migration in the sensing materials and the reaction at the gas–solid sensing interfaces.It provides brand-new approach to design sensitive materials with multiple reaction sites.展开更多
Chlorine dioxide composite disinfectant generator that produces a mixture of the oxidant gases comprising chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone and hydrogen peroxide through electrolyzing salt,is widely utilized in China ...Chlorine dioxide composite disinfectant generator that produces a mixture of the oxidant gases comprising chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone and hydrogen peroxide through electrolyzing salt,is widely utilized in China presently.The experiments in the paper focused on the removal of benzene homologous compounds such as styrene, methyl and dimethyl benzene. The results indicated that pH value was the most crucial factor to influence the treatment effects while reaction time and input way were considered as the importance. The removal rate for benzene could reach 60% when above 80% for methyl, and 100% for styrene and dimethyl. The variation mechanisms between chlorine dioxide,chlorite and chloride which determine the drinking water quality also discussed.展开更多

The results show that ultrasonic tre...The Influence of ultrasonic treatment on the coking amount of a nickel-based catalyst (Ni/γ-Al2O3) for the reaction of reforming with carbon dioxide of Benzene was investigated. The results show that ultrasonic treatment modify the pore size distribution of the catalysts significantly and also reduce the amount of coke formed on the catalyst. The reduction in the coking amount is not sensitive to the power output of the ultrasonic treatment device in the power range tested (120 W and 500 W).展开更多
