文摘As High Speed Rail(HSR)has proliferated globally,so has a related research field dedicated to exploring and addressing its unique issues.Yet,studies to understand and classify the HSR research domain are limited. This paper addresses the gap, using bibliometric analysis to identify future research areas and 20 candidate topics for literature review based on keyword analysis through VOSviewer.Article and review papers related to HSR published in the last 20 years(2003-2022)were retrieved from Scopus, and then analyzed to determine the split in knowledge between languages, the collaboration between countries and institutions, highly productive and cited journals, and research topics which have and have not been reviewed.Approximately 30%of the search results were published exclusively in Chinese, highlighting the importance of extending the evaluation to cover both languages. This is a novel aspect of the work, which has enabled the recognition of potential knowledge gaps.It is recommended that future reviews incorporate works in both languages, possibly through international collaboration.Institutions in China and other countries that are strong collaborators have been identified,as well as relevant, highly cited journals.

文摘In spite of the proximity between“CE(Circular Economy)”and“sustainability”,it is relevant to consider that a circular strategy is not inherently sustainable or free from significant environmental and social impacts. Therefore, assessing the impacts of CE initiatives and the promotion of circularity in development projects submitted to IA(Impact Assessment)processes are crucial, though the relationship between both fields has not been yet systematically addressed.Hence, the present paper is focused on the identification of the links between IA and CE,based on the application of bibliometric techniques and Content Analysis. The outcomes revealed three thematic clusters in which significant overlaps were found:the 1st revealed LCA(Life Cycle Assessments)as the most used IA technique to assess the impacts of CE strategies, the 2nd encompasses climate change and environmental issues, and the 3rd cluster revealed that the integration of sustainability is the most frequent objective linking IA and CE,though characterized by different approaches. The findings allow concluding that IA fosters the transition to CE by assessing the impacts of circular initiatives and CE strategies can improve IA practice by making it more effective.
文摘The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected global transportation mobility, presenting unprecedented challenges to transportation management.Public transit and ride-hailing services saw a drastic reduction in ridership, leading to an increased inclination towards private vehicles. The pandemic also altered travel patterns and individual mobility due to various COVID-19 protocols. This study conducted a comprehensive review of 96 academic papers spanning from January 1,2020,to December 31,2022,focusing on transportation and mobility using the Scopus database.Three major themes were identified:‘Impact on Ride-Hailing Services',‘Impact on Mode Preference',and‘Impact on Trip Purpose',with subdivisions based on keywords and key findings extracted using VOSviewer. The pandemic significantly impacted ride-hailing services, altering demand, usage, and safety measures.Mode preference shifted towards private vehicles due to safety concerns. The present study underscores the long-term implications of the pandemic, emphasizing recovery strategies for ride-hailing services and mode preferences post-pandemic.It highlights the need for sustainable transportation policies, advocating for enhanced public transportation systems, promoting active travel modes, and addressing socioeconomic disparities in mobility patterns. The findings emphasize the need for resilient transportation strategies in the face of future disruptions.
