In order to study the time-frequency characteristics of blasting vibration signals, measured in milliseconds, we carried out site blasting vibration tests at an open pit of the Jinduicheng Mine. Based on recorded field data and applying a combination of RSPWVD and wavelet, we analyzed the time-fre- quency characteristics of recorded field data, summarized the time-frequency characteristics of blasting vibration signals in different frequency bands and present detailed information of blasting vibration sig- nals in milliseconds of high time-frequency resolutions. Because RSPWVD can be seen as of definite physical significance to signal energy distribution in time and frequency domains, we studied the energy distribution of blasting vibration signals for various milliseconds intervals from a perspective of energy distribution. The results indicate that the effect of milliseconds intervals on time-frequency characteris- tics of blasting vibration signals is significant; the length of delay time directly affects the energy distri- bution of blasting vibration signals as well as the duration of energy in ffeauencv bands. 展开更多

This paper presents the application of a hybrid finite-discrete element method to study blast-induceddamage in circular tunnels. An extensive database of field tests of underground explosions above tunnelsis used for calibrating and validating the proposed numerical method; the numerical results areshown to be in good agreement with published data for large-scale physical experiments. The method isthen used to investigate the influence of rock strength properties on tunnel durability to withstand blastloads. The presented analysis considers blast damage in tunnels excavated through relatively weak(sandstone) and strong (granite) rock materials. It was found that higher rock strength will increase thetunnel resistance to the load on one hand, but decrease attenuation on the other hand. Thus, undercertain conditions, results for weak and strong rock masses are similar. 2014 Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Production and hosting byElsevier B.V. In order to increase the safety of working environment and decrease the unwanted costs related to overbreak in tunnel excavation projects, it is necessary to minimize overbreak percentage. Thus, based on regression analysis and fuzzy inference system, this paper tries to develop predictive models to estimate overbreak caused by blasting at the Alborz Tunnel. To develop the models, 202 datasets were utilized, out of which 182 were used for constructing the models. To validate and compare the obtained results, determination coefficient(R2) and root mean square error(RMSE) indexes were chosen. For the fuzzy model, R2 and RMSE are equal to 0.96 and 0.55 respectively, whereas for regression model, they are 0.41 and 1.75 respectively, proving that the fuzzy predictor performs, significantly, better than the statistical method. Using the developed fuzzy model, the percentage of overbreak was minimized in the Alborz Tunnel. 展开更多

Blasting is one of the most important operations in the mining projects that has effective role in the whole operation physically and economically. Unsuitable blasting pattern may lead to unwanted events such as poor fragmentation, back break and fly rock. Multi attribute decision making(MADM) can be useful method for selecting the most appropriate blasting pattern among previously performed patterns. In this work, initially, from various already performed patterns, efficient and inefficient patterns are determined using data envelopment analysis(DEA). In the second step, after weighting impressive attributes using experts' opinion, elimination Et choice translating reality(ELECTRE) was used for ranking the efficient patterns and recognizing the most appropriate pattern in the Sungun Copper Mine, Iran. According to the obtained results, blasting pattern with the hole diameter of 15.24 cm, burden of 3 m, spacing of 4 m and stemming of 3.2 m has selected as the best pattern and has selected for future operation. 展开更多

We examined salt tolerance responsive genes in Pak-choi under salt stress and analyze their potential function. The LRNA differential display was used to screen the transcript derived fragments (TDFs) related to salinity tolerance in tolerant and Loderately tolerant Pak-choi germplasm. Seventy-eight primer combinations generated 101 differential eDNA fragments, which ere divided into 10 expression types. Seven cDNA sequences (GenBank accession Nos. DQ006915-DQ006921) obtained and ,~quenced were highly homologous to some known expression genes or the genes related to the signaling pathways in plants under ifferent abiotic stress. 展开更多
