The effect of dietary phosphorus on the growth and body components of juvenile Syechogobius hasta was determined. Different percentages of dietary phosphorus (0.63, 0.77, 0.93, 1.06, 1.22 and 1.36) were tested by feeding the fish (body weight, 15.81 ±:0.32 g; 20 individuals each group; 3 groups each percentage) at a surplus of 5%-10% above satiation for 35d. Dietary phosphorus did not significantly affect the specific growth rate, teed intake, feed conversion ratio and protein efficiency rate. Nitrogen retention was lbund to be the highest in fish fed the diet contatimg 1.06% of phosphorus; however, this was not significantly different from other diets. Fish ted the diet containing 0.93% of phosphorus showed the highest phosphorus retention; similar phosphorus retention rates were found in fish fed the diets containing 0.77% and 1.06% of phosphorus. Fish fed the diet containing the highest percentage of dietary phosphorus were found to contain the least whole body lipid, lower than fish fed other diets (P〈0.05). The protein content increased from 18.59% to 19.55% (although not significant) with the decrease of body lipid content (P〉0.05). The contents of the whole body ash, whole body phosphorus and vertebrae phosphorus increased with dietary phosphorus percentage up to 1.06 (P〈0.05), reaching a plateau after that. Dietary phosphorus did not significantly influence the muscle components (protein, lipid and moisture). Condition factor and hepatosomatic index were the highest in fish fed the diet containing 0.63% of dietary phosphorus; however, this was not significantly different from those of other diets. The second-order polynomial regression of phosphorus retention against dietary phosphorus identified a breakpoint at 0.88% of dietary phosphorus. However, the dietary requirement of phosphorus for maintaining maximum phosphorus storage determined by broken-line analysis of the contents of whole body phosphorus, and ash and vertebrae phosphorus was 1.06% of the diet. 展开更多

[Objective]The paper was to develop new fodder additives and to strengthen comprehensive utilization of Spartina alterniflora resources.[Method]The effects of biomineral liquid from S.alterniflora on growth, nutritional components of ricefield eels were studied.[Result](1)0.5%of biomineral liquid had significant effect on weight gain rate, which was 8.37%higher than that in control group(P〈0.01).Further supply of biomineral liquid could not increase the weight gain rate.Furthermore, biomineral liquid had no effect on the survival rate of ricefield eels.(2)Ricefield eels had certain changes in body color in the0.5%biomineral liquid group, and some ricefield eels were yellowing.(3)The contents of Cr,Fe,Zn in body of ricefield eels in treatment group were significantly higher than that in control group, but was lower than that in wild eel group, and the content of Se in treatment group was lower than that in control group and wild group(P〈0.01).(4)The contents of K,Mg in muscle of ricefield eels in treatment group were higher than those in control group and wild eel group. The contents of ash and Ca in treatment group were close to that in control group but were higher than that in wild eel group. The content of crude fat in treatment group was close to that in wild eel group but was lower than that in control group. The contents of Zn,Se,Ni in treatment group were higher than that in control group and wild eel group, and the contents of Cr,Fe,Cu were close to that in control group and were higher than that in wild eel group(P〈0.01).No significant differences were observed in the contents of moisture, crude fat and P among the three groups(P〉0.05).[Conclusion]Addition of biomineral liquid from S.alterniflora could speed up the growth of ricefield eels and significantly improve their flesh quality, but had no significant effect on survival rate of ricefield eels. 展开更多

Objective To identify the constitutional and anatomical peculiarities of constitution of women of mature age. Methods There was completed comprehensive anthropometric and bio-electrical survey of 651mature women(relative norm)living in the Moscow region. Results The quantitative distribution of women by somatotypological affiliation was revealed;anthropometric and body component composition in representatives of different somatotypes were defined. Conclusion Thus, the performed study revealed and quantiely characterised the distribution of women according to their constitutional types in the studied population of mature age women living in Moscow region under the relative norm conditions. 展开更多

This article is investigating the comparative analysis of anatomical, physiological, and psycho-emotional adaptation indicators of 100 male and 100 female first-year students of the international medical faculty in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. Control groups have consisted of 100 male and 100 female local students of the same age, residing in the Osh city and region. Anthropometry is determined by 50 indicators, such as bio-impedance analysis of body composition, functional tests with exercise, and breathe holding. In addition, the girls underwent an assessment of sexual development according to Tyner. The psychological state was assessed using the Lüschers color test and Spielberger’s questionnaire. The features of anthropometric indicators for students from India are shown as a shorter length of the body, shoulder, and legs, greater waist coverage, an increase in the thickness of the skin folds of the abdomen, increased fat mass and delayed sexual development, anxiety, frequent and longer colds. Functional tests for breath holding and physical activity revealed less reserve capacity in foreign students. This requires the development of rehabilitation programs for foreign students, starting from the first year. 展开更多
