Method and supporting framework for business domain-oriented web service discovery

This paper proposes a new business domain-oriented web service discovery method and framework to solve the low precision results caused by UDDI （universal description,discovery and integration） syntactic discovery and the difficulty in selecting from among functionally equivalent web services.When requesting services,service clusters are extracted from concrete services in terms of functional requests; then, through business information properties consultation,the most suitable services are determined and finally bound to user requests.The whole process is transparent to users. This framework is also tested and supported through a prototype based on a travel domain,IPVita （intelligent platform of virtual travel agency）.

Modeling the dynamic alignment of business and information systems via the lens of human-centered architecture evolution

The complexity of business and information systems(IS)alignment is a growing concern for researchers and practitioners alike.The extant research on alignment architecture fails to consider the human viewpoint,which makes it difficult to embrace emergent complexity.This paper contributes to the extant literature in the following ways.First,we combine an enterprise architecture(EA)framework with a human viewpoint to address alignment issues in the architecture design phase;second,we describe a dynamic alignment model by developing a humancentered meta-model that explains first-and second-order changes and their effects on alignment evolution.This paper provides better support for the theoretical research and the practical application of dynamic alignment.

Implementation of a Comprehensive Information Management Platform for Public Security Based on Java Technology

Data Warehousing and SAP BW

Enterprises in today＇s fast-paced business environment are always puzzled with billions of bytes of data flowing into their computers. In this paper, the new technology to solve this problem called ＂data warehousing＂ is introduced. Benefits which can be achieved from this technology for enterprises are also discussed. In addition, this paper describes ＂SAP Business Information Warehouse＂ （SAP BW）, especially its characteristics, which is the data warehousing solution from SAP. Finally, advantages and shortcomings of SAP BW are given.

Research on Model of Virtual Organization and Its Practice

This paper discusses an organizational model to be used for both conventional and virtual organizations. The model deals with variable relationships within an organization and provides a framework for overall organizational design that may include relationship among different design variables and external relationship with environment. Based on the researches of virtual organization, this paper also illustrates the new model of organization in the real world such as Beijing 2008 Olympic games and Dongfeng Automobile group.

Business and financial information integration and voluntary management earnings forecasts

In this study,the impact of business and financial information integration(BFⅡ)on the voluntary management earnings forecasts(VMEFs)of listed firms in China between 2008 and 2018 is investigated.Drawing on litigation cost and ability signaling theories,we find that the adoption of BFⅡencourages top managers to disclose VMEFs.BFⅡfirms are identified through the textual analysis of management discussion and analysis(MD&A)reports,and the empirical results indicate that BFⅡfirms have a higher probability and frequency of issuing VMEFs than non-BFⅡfirms.The results remain robust after we identify causality by applying a propensity score matching and difference-in-differences(PSM-DID)test and use an alternate measure of BFⅡ.Further tests show that BFⅡfirms issue more accurate VMEFs and are able to issue them at an earlier stage.We also find that the positive relationship between BFⅡand VMEFs is weakened if the media expresses concern about the uncertainty of BFⅡadoption.
