Carbonate reservoir patterns play an important role in the production performance of oil and gas wells,and it is usually classified through static data analysis which cannot reflect the actual well performance.This pa...Carbonate reservoir patterns play an important role in the production performance of oil and gas wells,and it is usually classified through static data analysis which cannot reflect the actual well performance.This paper takes the Tazhong No.1 gas field in the Tarim Basin,China as an example to investigate the classification of carbonate reservoirs.The classification method mainly combines well test analysis with production analysis—especially the Blasingame type curve method.Based on the characteristics of type curves for well test analysis and the Blasingame method,the relationship between the type curves and reservoir pattern was established.More than 20 wells were analyzed and the reservoirs were classified into 3 major patterns with 7 sub-classes.Furthermore,the classification results were validated by dynamic performance analysis of wells in the Tazhong No.1 gas field.On the basis of the classification results,well stimulation(i.e.water flooding in a single well) was carried out in three volatile-oil wells,and the oil recovery increased by up to 20%.展开更多
Aiming at reducing energy and carbon consumption and enhancing current efficiency of aluminum electrolysis, a batch of property modified prebaked carbon anodes prepared in industrial production were applied to 160 kA ...Aiming at reducing energy and carbon consumption and enhancing current efficiency of aluminum electrolysis, a batch of property modified prebaked carbon anodes prepared in industrial production were applied to 160 kA prebaked anode aluminum electrolysis cells in a domestic aluminum company. The industrial statistical data show that, the property modified anodes can averagely reduce carbon consumption 11.6 kg per ton aluminum and energy consumption 106.1 kW·h, further more, enhance current efficiency 0.72%. The industrial testing results prove that this kind of new type of prebaked anodes has remarkable effect of saving energy, reducing carbon consumption and enhancing current efficiency of aluminum electrolysis.展开更多

The artificial acid rain of NaHSO3-(NH4)2SO4-H2SO4 solution system was selected as immersion solution. Acidity of artificial acid rain affected corrossion weight loss of carbon steel, and pH 4.1 was found to be a critical point. Anodic reaction resistance of the samples during accelerated weathering test increased with exposed time by electrochemical measurement.展开更多

The microstructure mechanism of their deformation and fracture behavior was analyzed. The results show that the deformation and fracture behavior of low-carbon steel depends on the grain size of ferrite, the deformation and fracture behavior of medium-carbon steel depends on the size of ferrite grain and pearlite lump, and the deformation and fracture behavior of high-carbon steel depends on the size of pearlite lump and the pearlitic interlamellar spacing.展开更多

We showed previously that the rapid filling test was useful to evaluate the pitting corrosion resistance of copper tube...Residual carbon on the inner surface of copper tubes is known to be a cause of pitting corrosion. We showed previously that the rapid filling test was useful to evaluate the pitting corrosion resistance of copper tubes. Immersion tests using the rapid evaluation test solution showed that corrosion occurs on the entire surface of copper tubes with low residual carbon amounts, while those with high residual carbon amounts show pitting corrosion. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the corrosion resistance of copper tubes with high residual carbon amount, which are expected to undergo pitting corrosion. As pitting corrosion occurs when anodes are locally concentrated on part of the metal surface, it has been suggested that anodes be dispersed over the entire surface by the processing of the metal surface. Metal processing methods have various purposes, including changing the shape and properties of metals, and in this case, leading to desirable surface properties (such as expansion and drawing processes). Here, we focused on the expansion process and its effects on corrosion resistance of copper tubes. The results showed that hydraulic expansion has a significant effect on the inner copper surface by improving corrosion resistance as the anode area increases.展开更多
