To improve the low-temperature performances of Li-ion cells, three types of linear carboxylic ester-based electrolyte, such as EC/EMC/EA(1:1:2, mass ratio), EC/EMC/EP(1:1:2, mass ratio) and EC/EMC/EB(1:1:2, mass ratio), were prepared to substitute for industrial electrolyte(EC/EMC/DMC). Then, 18650-type Li Mn2O4-graphite cells(nominal capacity of 1150 mA ·h) were assembled and studied. Results show that the cells containing three types of electrolyte are able to undertake 5C discharging current with above 93% capacity retention at-20 °C. Electrochemical impedance spectra show that the discharge capacity fading of Li-ion cells at low temperature is mainly ascribed to the charge transfer resistance increasing with temperature decreasing. In comparison, the cells containing electrolyte of 1.0 mol/L LiPF6 in EC/EMC/EA(1:1:2, mass ratio) have the highest capacity retention of 90% at-40 °C and 44.41% at-60 °C, due to its lowest charge-transfer resistance. 展开更多

Carboxyl ester lipase(CEL),a pivotal enzyme involved in lipid metabolism,is recurrently mutated in obese mice.Here,we aimed to elucidate the functional significance,molecular mechanism,and therapeutic potential of CEL in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis(MASH).Hepatocyte-specific carboxyl ester lipase gene(Cel)knockout(Cel^(DHEP))and wildtype(WT)littermates were fed with cholinedeficient high-fat diet(CD-HFD)for 16 weeks,or methionine-and choline-deficient diet(MCD)for three weeks to induce MASH.Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry and co-immunoprecipitation were employed to identify the downstream targets of CEL.CD-HFD/MCD-fed WT mice received intravenous injections of CEL-adeno-associated viral,serotype 8(AAV8)to induce specific overexpression of CEL in the liver.We observed a decrease in CEL protein levels in MASH induced by CD-HFD or MCD in mice.Cel^(DHEP) mice fed with CD-HFD or MCD exhibited pronounced hepatic steatosis,inflammation,lipid peroxidation,and liver injury compared to WT littermates,accompanied by increased hepatic nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cell(NF-jB)activation.Consistently,Cel knockdown in mouse primary hepatocytes and AML12 cells aggravated lipid accumulation and inflammation,whereas CEL overexpression exerted the opposite effect.Mechanistically,CEL directly bound to fatty acid synthase(FASN),resulting in reduced FASN SUMOylation,which in turn promoted FASN degradation through the proteasome pathway.Furthermore,inhibition of FASN ameliorated hepatocyte lipid accumulation and inflammation induced by Cel knockdown in vivo and in vitro.Hepatocyte-specific CEL overexpression using AAV8-Cel significantly mitigated steatohepatitis in mice fed with CD-HFD or MCD.CEL protects against steatohepatitis development by directly interacting with FASN and suppressing its expression for de novo lipogenesis.CEL overexpression confers a therapeutic benefit in steatohepatitis. 展开更多

A yellow, alkali-clearable azo disperse dye containing a carboxylic ester moiety was readily synthesized from the reactant p-aminobenzoic acid by successive diazotization, coupling reaction, chlorination and esterification with ethanol. Then its molecular structure was characterized by FTIR,1H NMR,13 C NMR,mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The synthesized dye and a similar control dye containing the acylamide moiety(I) were applied to dyeing poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and their washing and rubbing fastness properties with different post-treatment methods(reduction clearing and alkali clearing) were examined and compared. It is found that the ester-containing disperse dye shows good alkali-clear ability on poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and contaminates little to environment due to the absence of reductants, as well as low toxicity and easy recycling of the hydrolysates. 展开更多

Single crystals suitable for X-ray measurement were obtained by recrystallization with the solvent of dimethyl formamide at the room temperature. In this review, we will focus on the most recent advances in the structures and properties of KGM. We will first describe the influence of different modification methods on the structures and properties of KGM. The study on retention behavior in supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) is necessary to understand the mechanism of the various interactions in SFC. The retention of SFC in carboxylic acid methyl ester/polymethylsiloxane/CO2 system was studied systematically and the retention behavior of this kind of compounds under various typical operation conditions was described using the method of an alternative unified theory of chromatographic retention. The results illustrated that expression: Ink.= a + b/T + cp + dp/T + ep2/T can be used to describe quantitatively the retention behavior of carboxylic acid methyl ester/polymethylsiloxane/CO2 system in the ranges of reduced density from 0.549 to 1.411. It was also found that the entropy of solute in stationary phase is dependent on the density of supercritical fluid (SF) under typical operating conditions of SFC. 展开更多

Five homologous series of bifurcate systems of aliphatic and aromatic polyenic cyano and carboxylic compounds have been prepared and studied. Five homologous series of bifurcate systems of aliphatic and aromatic polyenic cyano and carboxylic compounds have been prepared and studied. The electronic absorption spectra forthe series and the NMR chemical shifts for the methyl-, methylene- and beta-protons havebeen found to conform very well to the rule of homologous linearity. The mass spectra forthe α-cyano polyenic ester series show strong peaks for the fragments of M-COOEt but noneof M-CN, indicating that the CN group seems to be in stronger conjugation with the poly-enic chain than the COOEt group does. In all the forked series studided, a red shift in electronic spectra is brought about upon the introduction of an electron-attractive branching group, just like the case of introducing an electron-repelling substituent. This has been taken as an indication of the predominance of themolecular integrality over the group characteristics. By means of the method of similar triangles between a homologous line for a linearseries and that for the corresponding forked compounds, the equivalent △Ns for a branching group may be calculated with accuracy. Based on the value of this equivalent, the substituentnature of the structural effect of the branching group has been inferred. The electronic absorption maxima for four series of the forked compounds have been cal-culated by means of the extended homologous equation for the corresponding linear compounds.With an appropriate correction for the positional effect of the substituent equivalent, the cal-culated wavelengths agree generally with experimental data within ± 7nm. 展开更多

Two cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes of the Schiff base with morpholino or aza-crown ether pendants, CoL^1 and CoL^2, as mimic hydrolytic metalloenzyme, were used in catalytic hydrolysis of carboxylic ester (PNPP). The analysis of specific absorption spectra of the hydrolytic reaction systems indicates that key intermediates, made up of PNPP and Co(Ⅱ) complexes, have been formed in reaction processes of the PNPP catalytic hydrolysis. The mechanism of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis has been proposed based on the analytic result of specific absorption spectrum. A kinetic mathematical model, applied to the calculation of the kinetic parameter of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis, has been established based on the mechanism proposed. The acid effect of buffer solution, structural effect of the complexes, and effect of temperature on the rate of PNPP hydrolysis catalyzed by the complexes have been also discussed. 展开更多

Three novel Schiff base cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes containing benzoaza-15-crown-5, CoL^1, CoL^2 and CoL^3 were synthesized and characterized, and these complexes were used in catalytic hydrolysis of carboxylic ester (PNPP, p-nitrophenyl picolinate) as mimic hydrolytic metalloenzyme. The analysis of specific absorption spectra of the hydrolytic reaction systems indicated that the catalytic hydrolysis involved the key intermediates formed by PNPP with cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes. The CoL^3 bearing the electron withdrawing group shows better catalytic activity due to its stabilization effect on active species MLS^-. The catalytic mechanism of PNPP hydrolysis was also proposed. The kinetic parameter of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis has been calculated and the activation energy for the catalytic hydrolysis is 43.69, 39.76 and 35.44 kJ·mol^-1, respectively. 展开更多

A copper(Ⅱ) complex 1 of a novel macrocyclic polyamine ligand with hydroxylethyl pendant groups, 4,11-bis(hydroxylethyl)-5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (L) has been synthesized and characterized. Rate enhancement for hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) catalyzed by 1 was studied kinetically under Brij35 micellar condition. For comparision, the catalytic activity of corresponding copper(Ⅱ) complex 2 of non-substituted macrocyclic polyamine ligand, 5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraaza-cyclotetradecane (L') toward the hydrolysis of PNPP was also investigated. The results indicate that the macrocyclic polyamine copper(Ⅱ) complex 1 effectively catalyzed the hydrolysis of PNPP, and the pendant ligand hydroxyl group or deprotonated pendant ligand hydroxyl group can act as catalytically active species in the reaction. A ternary Complex kinetic model involving metal ion, ligand and substrate has been proposed, and the results confirmed the reasonability of such kinetic model. 展开更多

The hydrohalogenation reaction of 1-alkyl substituted 1,2-allenyl carboxylic acid esters (1) with MX (M= Na, or Li, X= Cl, Br, I) afforded a mixture of β,γ-unsaturated 3-halo–3-alkenoates (2) and Q,P unsaturated 3-halo-2-alkenoates (3) in HOAc, while using a mixture of HOAC-CF3CO2H (1:1) or CF3C2H as the reaction medium the corresponding reaction cleanly produced β,γ -unsaturated 3-hale3-alkenoates (2) as the sole products in high yields.
