Objective:To investigate and analyze the current situation of cognition,attitude,behavior,and influencing factors of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(T2DM)patients in Neijiang City,and to explore the effectiveness of the appl...Objective:To investigate and analyze the current situation of cognition,attitude,behavior,and influencing factors of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(T2DM)patients in Neijiang City,and to explore the effectiveness of the application of the education program based on the popularization of science in general medicine.Methods:Seventy cases of T2DM patients in Neijiang City were selected and randomly divided into 35 cases each in the observation group and the control group.The observation group received general medicine science education intervention and the control group received traditional health education.Indicators such as cognitive level,attitude,and behavioral change between the two groups were compared to assess the effect of general medical science education.Results:Before the intervention,there was no difference between the two groups in terms of knowledge,beliefs,and behaviors in general medicine,glycemic control,body mass index(BMI),and satisfaction with health education(P>0.05).After 3 months of the intervention,there was a highly significant difference in the aforementioned levels between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The approach of general medicine popularization had a significant effect on the treatment and management of T2DM patients in Neijiang City.It improved the patient’s cognitive level and self-management ability of the disease,increased their treatment adherence,and improved the therapeutic effect.展开更多
Purpose:Head injury criterion(HIC)companied by a rotation-based metric was widely believed to behelpful for head injury prediction in road traffic accidents.Recently,the Euro-New Car AssessmentProgram utilized a newly...Purpose:Head injury criterion(HIC)companied by a rotation-based metric was widely believed to behelpful for head injury prediction in road traffic accidents.Recently,the Euro-New Car AssessmentProgram utilized a newly developed metric called diffuse axonal multi-axis general evaluation(DAMAGE)to explain test device for human occupant restraint(THOR)head injury,which demonstratedexcellent ability in capturing concussions and diffuse axonal injuries.However,there is still a lack ofcomprehensive understanding regarding the effectiveness of using DAMAGE for Hybrid III 50thpercentile male dummy(H50th)head injury assessment.The objective of this study is to determinewhether the DAMAGE could capture the risk of H50th brain injury during small overlap barrier tests.Methods:To achieve this objective,a total of 24 vehicle crash loading curves were collected as input datafor the multi-body simulation.Two commercially available mathematical dynamic models,namelyH50th and THOR,were utilized to investigate the differences in head injury response.Subsequently,adecision method known as simple additive weighting was employed to establish a comprehensive braininjury metric by incorporating the weighted HIC and either DAMAGE or brain injury criterion.Furthermore,35 sets of vehicle crash test data were used to analyze these brain injury metrics.Results:The rotational displacement of the THOR head is significantly greater than that of the H50thhead.The maximum linear and rotational head accelerations experienced by H50th and THOR modelswere(544.6±341.7)m/s^(2),(2468.2±1309.4)rad/s^(2) and(715.2±332.8)m/s^(2),(3778.7±1660.6)rad/s^(2),respectively.Under the same loading condition during small overlap barrier(SOB)tests,THOR exhibits ahigher risk of head injury compared to the H50th model.It was observed that the overall head injuryresponse during the small overlap left test condition is greater than that during the small overlap righttest.Additionally,an equation was formulated to establish the necessary relationship between theDAMAGE values of THOR and H50th.Conclusion:If H50th rather than THOR is employed as an evaluation tool in SOB crash tests,newlydesigned vehicles are more likely to achieve superior performance scores.According to the current injurycurve for DAMAGE and brain injury criterion,it is highly recommended that HIC along with DAMAGE wasprioritized for brain injury assessment in SOB tests.展开更多

The evaluation in this Appraisal System can be further classified into explicit evaluation, which inscribes the attitude through the attitudinal vocabulary and implicit evaluation, which invokes the attitude through the use of non-core lexis. Martin (2005) pointed out that the implicit evaluation is realized by three approaches: lexical metaphor, the selection of ideational meanings, and graduation. However, the invoked attitude can be achieved by an amount of resources other than the above approaches. In this paper through the exploration of invoked attitude in the English-language China Doily, we find that the attitude is also invoked through grammatical metaphor, general noun as well as conjunction. The release of the generative pre-trained transformer(GPT)series has brought artificial general intelligence(AGI)to the forefront of the artificial intelligence(AI)field once again.However,the questions of how to defi...The release of the generative pre-trained transformer(GPT)series has brought artificial general intelligence(AGI)to the forefront of the artificial intelligence(AI)field once again.However,the questions of how to define and evaluate AGI remain unclear.This perspective article proposes that the evaluation of AGI should be rooted in dynamic embodied physical and social interactions(DEPSI).More specifically,we propose five critical characteristics to be considered as AGI benchmarks and suggest the Tong test as an AGI evaluation system.The Tong test describes a value-and ability-oriented testing system that delineates five levels of AGI milestones through a virtual environment with DEPSI,allowing for infinite task generation.We contrast the Tong test with classical AI testing systems in terms of various aspects and propose a systematic evaluation system to promote standardized,quantitative,and objective benchmarks and evaluation of AGI.展开更多

Reducing rates of hairfalling and pilling wereof 6.7%—66.7% and 9.3%—73.5% respectively, while fabric handle changed from grade 1 to grade5 in 12 treating method groups. To evaluate the severity of hairfalling and pilling and the conditionof fabric handle of knitwear objectively, quantitatively and comprehensively, we advocated usingthe concept of "geueral evaluating value(GEV)". The results indicated that GEVs of acrylategroups were low, but GEVs of silicone resin groups were high, especially the group with finishingagent solution containing 7% silicone resin No.3 in which reducing rates of pilling and hairfallingwere of 53% (National standard: grade 4.5) and 62%, respectively, and washing stability was verygood, while knitwear’s fabric handle almost did not change.展开更多
Objective:In order to explore the application effect of blood glucose management mode of multiteam cooperation in perioperative period of general surgery patients.Methods:The perioperative blood glucose control of 94 ...Objective:In order to explore the application effect of blood glucose management mode of multiteam cooperation in perioperative period of general surgery patients.Methods:The perioperative blood glucose control of 94 patients undergoing surgical treatment in general surgery from January 2016 to March 2019 was reviewed by Non-synchronous.According to the perioperative blood glucose management model of multi-team cooperation,the patients were divided into intervention group and control group.From January 2016 to January 2018,64 patients who did not implemented the multi-team blood glucose management model were the control group and from February 2018 to March 2019,30 patients who implemented the multi-team blood glucose management model were the intervention group,compared with two group about the differences in perioperative blood glucose.Results:It is no statistically significant about two group in highest and lowest blood sugar levels under fasting stats;during the fluid diet the blood sugar level of the intervention group was lower than control group(P<0.05),and when the patients was in the semifluid or food-feeding period,the highest and lowest blood sugar level is that the intervention group was lower than control group(P<0.05).The time of the blood sugar reaching the standard,the coincidence of complications rate and average hospitalization days in the intervention group were particularly lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:If we adopt multiteam blood glucose management model can better control the perioperative blood glucose of patients undergoing general sugar.展开更多

Moreover, the evaluation models for soil respiration at present include only the effects of water and heat factors, while the biological and soil factors controlling soil respiration and their interactions with water and heat factors have not been considered yet. These models are not able to accurately evaluate soil respiration in different vegetation/terrestrial ecosystems at different temporal and spatial scales. Due to the complex physical characteristics of water, acoustic wave is the only media available for underwater wireless communication at any distance. As a result, underwater acoustic communication(UAC) is the major research field in underwater wireless communication. In this paper, characteristics of underwater acoustic channels are first introduced and compared with terrestrial communication to demonstrate the difficulties in UAC research. To give a general impression of the UAC, current important research areas are mentioned. Furthermore, different principal modulation-based schemes for short-and medium-range communications with high data rates are investigated and summarized. To evaluate the performance of UAC systems in general,three criteria are presented based on the research publications and our years of experience in high-rate short-to medium-range communications. These three criteria provide useful tools to generally guide the design and evaluate the performance of underwater acoustic communication systems.展开更多
In this paper,experiment results about East Asia climate from five CGCMs are described.The ability of the models to simulate present climate and the simulated response to increased carbon dioxide are both covered.The ...In this paper,experiment results about East Asia climate from five CGCMs are described.The ability of the models to simulate present climate and the simulated response to increased carbon dioxide are both covered.The results indicate that all models show substantial changes in climate when carbon dioxide concentrations are doubled.In particular,the strong surface warming at high latitudes in winter and the significant increase of summer precipitation in the monsoon area are produced by all models.Regional evaluation results show that these five CGCMs are particularly good in simulating spatial distribution of present climate.The main characteristics of the seasonal mean H500,SAT, MSLP field can be simulated by most CGCMs.But there are significant systematic errors in SAT, MSLP,HS00 fields in most models.On the whole,DKRZ OPYC is the best in simulating the present climate in East Asia.展开更多
In order to quantify within-and between-population variation in seed and seedling traits of Juglans mandshurica and reveal the relationship among genetic and environmental variations and select elite families,samples ...In order to quantify within-and between-population variation in seed and seedling traits of Juglans mandshurica and reveal the relationship among genetic and environmental variations and select elite families,samples of 50 J.mandshurica families from five natural populations in Liaoning Province,northeast China,were taken to measure seed and seedling traits.The results show that all seed traits varied significantly among families within the population,but only kernel weight and kernel rate showed significant variations among populations.Average values of single seed weight,length,width,lateral diameter,and average size,and kernel weight and rate were 10.1 g,43.0 mm,29.2 mm,28.1 mm,33.4 mm,and 2.2 g and 22.5%,respectively.Significant variations were observed in seedling height and root collar diameter among families and interaction between families and blocks,but the block effects on height and root collar diameter were insignificant.Average values of height and root collar diameter were 94.0 cm and 8.7 mm,respectively.Family heritability of traits ranged from 0.6 gm(kernel weight)to 0.9 mm(seedling height).Correlation analysis showed a strong relationship among seed traits but a weak correlation between seed and seedling traits.Cluster analysis grouped the five natural populations of J.mandshurica into three significant clusters with different characteristics.The general combining ability analysis showed that most traits in one family(WD11)were higher,suggesting parental traits were excellent for selecting elite parent clones.Using the comprehensive evaluation method,five families with better seed traits and five families with better seedling traits were selected as elite materials with 10%selection rate.The genetic gains of these elite materials for seed weight,kernel weight,average seed size,kernel rate,seedling height,and root collar diameter were 13.1%,10.3%,4.1%,2.4%,29.7%,and 21.1%,respectively.展开更多

Review of the general anesthesia showed only a few cases till date. We report general anesthesia for tooth extraction in a 21-year-old male patient with Gorham-Stout syndrome. In this case, the most concerning issue was limited mouth opening due to mandible osteolysis and difficult intubation was anticipated. To anticipate difficult airway management, it is very important to consider the preoperative airway assessment including the cervical spine screening. In this case, the McGrath video laryngoscope prevented the anticipated difficult intubation due to the limited mouth opening due to mandible osteolysis.展开更多

We applied two approaches toextract si...The aim of this paper was to study reliable automated delineationpossibilities of karst sinkholes using a LiDAR-based digital terrain model(DTM) with pixel-based classifications. We applied two approaches toextract sinkholes: (1) general linear modeling (GLM) with morphometricindices derived from DTM;(2) and a local minima-based delineationusing only LiDAR DTM as the input layer. The outcome of the localminima was significantly different from the reference ones but found allthe sinkholes without previous knowledge of the area. The GLM-basedoutcome did not differ statistically from the reference. Results showedthat these approaches were efficient in detecting sinkholes based onLIDAR derivatives, and can be used for risk assessment and hazardpreparedness in karst areas: GLM had an overall accuracy of 89.5% andlocal minima had an accuracy of 92.3%;both methods identifiedsinkholes but also had commission errors, identifying depressions assinkholes.展开更多

Furthermore, different principal modulation-based schemes for short-and medium-range communications with high data rates are investigated and summarized. To evaluate the performance of UAC systems in general,three criteria are presented based on the research publications and our years of experience in high-rate short-to medium-range communications. These three criteria provide useful tools to generally guide the design and evaluate the performance of underwater acoustic communication systems.

文摘In this paper,experiment results about East Asia climate from five CGCMs are described.The ability of the models to simulate present climate and the simulated response to increased carbon dioxide are both covered.The results indicate that all models show substantial changes in climate when carbon dioxide concentrations are doubled.In particular,the strong surface warming at high latitudes in winter and the significant increase of summer precipitation in the monsoon area are produced by all models.Regional evaluation results show that these five CGCMs are particularly good in simulating spatial distribution of present climate.The main characteristics of the seasonal mean H500,SAT, MSLP field can be simulated by most CGCMs.But there are significant systematic errors in SAT, MSLP,HS00 fields in most models.On the whole,DKRZ OPYC is the best in simulating the present climate in East Asia.

文摘In order to quantify within-and between-population variation in seed and seedling traits of Juglans mandshurica and reveal the relationship among genetic and environmental variations and select elite families,samples of 50 J.mandshurica families from five natural populations in Liaoning Province,northeast China,were taken to measure seed and seedling traits.The results show that all seed traits varied significantly among families within the population,but only kernel weight and kernel rate showed significant variations among populations.Average values of single seed weight,length,width,lateral diameter,and average size,and kernel weight and rate were 10.1 g,43.0 mm,29.2 mm,28.1 mm,33.4 mm,and 2.2 g and 22.5%,respectively.Significant variations were observed in seedling height and root collar diameter among families and interaction between families and blocks,but the block effects on height and root collar diameter were insignificant.Average values of height and root collar diameter were 94.0 cm and 8.7 mm,respectively.Family heritability of traits ranged from 0.6 gm(kernel weight)to 0.9 mm(seedling height).Correlation analysis showed a strong relationship among seed traits but a weak correlation between seed and seedling traits.Cluster analysis grouped the five natural populations of J.mandshurica into three significant clusters with different characteristics.The general combining ability analysis showed that most traits in one family(WD11)were higher,suggesting parental traits were excellent for selecting elite parent clones.Using the comprehensive evaluation method,five families with better seed traits and five families with better seedling traits were selected as elite materials with 10%selection rate.The genetic gains of these elite materials for seed weight,kernel weight,average seed size,kernel rate,seedling height,and root collar diameter were 13.1%,10.3%,4.1%,2.4%,29.7%,and 21.1%,respectively.
文摘Gorham-Stout (GS) syndrome or the vanishing bone disease is a very rare chronic disease characterized by the destruction of the osseous matrix and proliferation of vascular structures. Review of the general anesthesia showed only a few cases till date. We report general anesthesia for tooth extraction in a 21-year-old male patient with Gorham-Stout syndrome. In this case, the most concerning issue was limited mouth opening due to mandible osteolysis and difficult intubation was anticipated. To anticipate difficult airway management, it is very important to consider the preoperative airway assessment including the cervical spine screening. In this case, the McGrath video laryngoscope prevented the anticipated difficult intubation due to the limited mouth opening due to mandible osteolysis.
文摘The aim of this paper was to study reliable automated delineationpossibilities of karst sinkholes using a LiDAR-based digital terrain model(DTM) with pixel-based classifications. We applied two approaches toextract sinkholes: (1) general linear modeling (GLM) with morphometricindices derived from DTM;(2) and a local minima-based delineationusing only LiDAR DTM as the input layer. The outcome of the localminima was significantly different from the reference ones but found allthe sinkholes without previous knowledge of the area. The GLM-basedoutcome did not differ statistically from the reference. Results showedthat these approaches were efficient in detecting sinkholes based onLIDAR derivatives, and can be used for risk assessment and hazardpreparedness in karst areas: GLM had an overall accuracy of 89.5% andlocal minima had an accuracy of 92.3%;both methods identifiedsinkholes but also had commission errors, identifying depressions assinkholes.
