Under the d...A novel distributed model predictive control scheme based on dynamic integrated system optimization and parameter estimation (DISOPE) was proposed for nonlinear cascade systems under network environment. Under the distributed control structure, online optimization of the cascade system was composed of several cascaded agents that can cooperate and exchange information via network communication. By iterating on modified distributed linear optimal control problems on the basis of estimating parameters at every iteration the correct optimal control action of the nonlinear model predictive control problem of the cascade system could be obtained, assuming that the algorithm was convergent. This approach avoids solving the complex nonlinear optimization problem and significantly reduces the computational burden. The simulation results of the fossil fuel power unit are illustrated to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

The author uses the sliding mode control (SMC) to deal with the disturbance. By the SMC approach, the disturbance is supposed to be bounded only. The existence and uniqueness of the solution for the closed-loop via SMC are proved, and the monotonicity of the "reaching condition" is presented without the differentiation of the sliding mode function, for which it may not always exist for the weak solution of the dosed-loop system. An adaptive synchronization approach and a cascade adaptive synchronization approach are presented to synchronize a drive system and a response system. By utilizing an adaptive controller based on the dynamic compensation mechanism, exact knowledge of the systems is not necessarily required, and the synchronous speed is controllable by tuning the controller parameters. Sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of the two synchronization schemes are derived. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the adaptive synchronization scheme with four control inputs and the cascade adaptive synchronization scheme with only one control signal are effective and feasible in chaos synchronization of hyperchaotic systems.展开更多

Remarkably, the PDE subsystem allows unknown control coefficient and spatially varying parameter, and only its one boundary value is measurable. This renders the system in question more general and practical, and the control problem more challenging. To solve the problem,an invertible transformation is first introduced to change the system into an observer canonical form,from which a couple of filters are constructed to estimate the unmeasurable states. Then, by adaptive technique and infinite-dimensional backstepping method, an adaptive controller is constructed which guarantees that all states of the resulting closed-loop system are bounded while the original system states converging to zero. Finally, a numerical simulation is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

The...A system of two separated computer-generated holograms termed cascaded Fresnel digital holography (CFDH) is proposed and its application to hiding information is demonstrated by a computer simulation experiment. The technique is that the reconstructed image is the result of the wave Fresnel diffraction of two sub-holograms located at different distances from the imaging plane along the illuminating beam. The two sub-holograms are generated by an iterative algorithm based on the projection onto convex sets. In the application to the hiding of optical information, the information to be hidden is encoded into the sub-hologram which is multiplied by the host image in the input plane, the other sub-hologram in the filter plane is used for the deciphering key, the hidden image can be reconstructed in the imaging plane of the CFDH setup.展开更多
