METHODS Codon 249 mutation accompanied by loss of heterozygosity (LOH) and its effect on translation and transcription were studied using SSCP, IHC and RT PCR/slot hybridization. RESULTS Codon 249 mutations were detected in 32 9%, LOH detected in 68 4% among the HCC patients. Mutations of condon 249 were accompanied by LOH in 90%. The positive rates of p53 protein and mRNA were 91 3% and 95 7%, in mutational group, both were significantly higher than those in the non mutational group (91 3% vs 19 1% and 95 7% vs 40 4%, respectively, both P <0 01). The translation of p53 gene was strongly related to its transcription by correlation analysis ( r =0 8208). CONCLUSIONS LOH might play an important role in hepatocarcinogenesis of codon 249 mutation, which could increase both transcription and translation of p53 gene. The increased expression of p53 protein mainly depend on the increased transcription of p53 gene.展开更多

They exhibit rich folk customs and a flavor of the surrounding environment. The soil of the Loess Plateau is thick and compact, making it the ideal place for building caves that are sturdy enough to last hundreds or even thousands of years without collapsing. Most cave dwellings have straight walls and low arched ceilings, with the walls reinforced with grass and mud. Cave dwellings are comfortable to live in, being cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Being cut into the mountain, the architecture blends in quite well with the surrounding natural environment, while the rust exterior exhibits the beauty of ingenuity.展开更多

Until the late Tang Dynasty (A.D. 848-907), sheer Pala style of eastern India appeared in Dunhuang, however, whether those East India painting style still belong to Tubo remain for further discussion. The art style of East India appeared in Dunhuang during from the late Tang Dynasty to the early period of Northern Song Dynasty, probably propagated from the ways other than Tubo, and this art style was deemed as the one has nothing to do with Tibet's art in this study.展开更多

Cave dwellings are comfortable to live in, being cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Being cut into the mountain, the architecture blends in quite well with the surrounding natural environment, while the rust exterior exhibits the beauty of ingenuity.
文摘During A.D. 776 to 848, Dunhuang was occupied and ruled by Tubo political power, a special painting style, spread via the Tibetan silk road, appeared at same time, and which is related to the art style of India and Nepal; It is worth noting that the Tibetan painting style during this period have no relative unified model actually, especially the mural and the silk painting preserved in Library Cave, the painting style of which had obvious difference between each other, and the reason behind this is very hard to explain. Until the late Tang Dynasty (A.D. 848-907), sheer Pala style of eastern India appeared in Dunhuang, however, whether those East India painting style still belong to Tubo remain for further discussion. The art style of East India appeared in Dunhuang during from the late Tang Dynasty to the early period of Northern Song Dynasty, probably propagated from the ways other than Tubo, and this art style was deemed as the one has nothing to do with Tibet's art in this study.
文摘BACKGROUND Metastasis occurs as a late event in the natural history of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and most patients die of liver failure attributed to the tumor supplanting the liver.Conversely, the brain is a less common metastatic site.CASE SUMMARY We describe a rare case of hepatitis C virus-related multiple HCC metastasizing to the cavernous sinus,Meckel’s cave, and the petrous bone involving multiple cranial nerves in an 82-year-old woman. At admission imaging studies including Gadolinium-ethoxybenzyl-diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)revealed multiple HCC nodules in both right and left lobes.Ultrasound guided biopsy of the left lobe revealed moderately differentiated HCC.Molecular targeted therapy with Lenvatinib(8 mg/d for 94 d,per os)and Ramucirumab(340 mg/d and 320 mg/d,two times by intravenous injection)were administered for 4 mo,resulting in progression of the disease.Three months after the start of molecular target therapy, the patient presented with symptoms of hyperalgesia of the right face and limited abduction of the right eye, indicating disturbances in the right trigeminal and abducens nerves.Brain MRI disclosed a mass involving the cavernous sinus,Meckel’s cave and the petrous bone.Contrast-enhanced MRI with gadolinium-chelated contrast medium revealed a well-defined mass with abnormal enhancement around the right cavernous sinus and the right Meckel’s cave.CONCLUSION The diagnosis of metastatic HCC to the cavernous sinus,Meckel’s cave, and the petrous bone was made based on neurological findings and imaging studies including MRI,but not on histological examinations.Further studies may provide insights into various methods for diagnosing HCC metastasizing to the craniospinal area.

文摘Based on high-resolution 3D seismic data acquired in the Pearl(Zhujiang)River Mouth Basin of the northern South China Sea,this study investigated the geometry, spatial extension, and throw distribution of the post-rift normal fault through detailed seismic interpretation and fault modeling.A total of 289 post-rift normal faults were identified in the study area and can be classified into four types:(1)isolated normal faults above the carbonate platform;(2)isolated normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform;(3)conjugate normal faults,and(4)connecting normal faults.Throw distribution analysis on the fault planes show that the vertical throw profiles of most normal fault exhibit flat-topped profiles.Isolated normal faults above the carbonate platform exhibit roughly concentric ellipses with maximum throw zones in the central section whereas the normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform miss the lowermost section due to the chaotic seismic reflections in the interior of the carbonate platform. The vertical throws of conjugate normal faults anomalously decrease toward their intersection region on the fault plane whereas the connecting normal faults present two maximum throw zones in the central section of the fault plane.According to the symmetric elliptical distribution model of fault throw,an estimation was made indicating that normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform extended downward between-1308 s and-1780 s(two-way travel time)in depth and may not penetrate the entire Liuhua carbonate platform. Moreover,it is observed that the distribution of karst caves on the top of the carbonate platform disaccord with those of hydrocarbon reservoirs and the post-rift normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform in the study area.We propose that these karst caves formed most probably by corrosive fluids derived from magmatic activities during the Dongsha event, rather than pore waters or hydrocarbons.
