Treating the cosmological constant as a dynamical variable,we investigate the thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)of a charged AdS black hole(BH)in the Rastall gravity.We determine the energy mom...Treating the cosmological constant as a dynamical variable,we investigate the thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)of a charged AdS black hole(BH)in the Rastall gravity.We determine the energy momentum relation of charged fermion at the horizon of the BH using the Dirac equation.Based on this relation,it is shown that the first law of thermodynamics still holds as a fermion is absorbed by the BH.However,the entropy of both the extremal and near-extremal BH decreases in the irreversible process,which means that the second law of thermodynamics is violated.Furthermore,we verify the validity of the WCCC by the minimum values of the metric function h(r)at its final state.For the extremal charged AdS BH in the Rastall gravity,we find that the WCCC is always valid since the BH is extreme.While for the case of near-extremal BH,we find that the WCCC could be violable in the extended phase space(EPS),depending on the value of the parameters of the BH and their variations.展开更多

One example is William Tyndale's pocket-size New Testament translation, which underwem destruction including the burning of its manuscript, the published translation texts, and even the printers and possessors of these materials. This article reviews the legal history and the religious significance of the censorship, which further influences the appearance of the Authorized Version (1611 ). Related facts are parliamentary policies concerning imports of foreign priming, book licensing and the use of the Bible. The latter part of this paper reviews evems organized by Wolsey, Tunstall and Warham, and the launch of scholarly based Bible-translation. This paper concludes by re-emphasizing the significance of these parties in sustaining the divine preservation and development of Biblical literature-readers, translators, printers, traders, clergy and legislators. Those media that, unlike private media, are funded fr...The paper focuses on the manifestations, causes, and consequences of the failure of so-called public service media, especially in the field of news and journalism. Those media that, unlike private media, are funded from public sources. The public service, which citizens are obliged to pay through taxes or direct fees, is supposed to provide quality information, to produce and to disseminate content that satisfies the democratic, cultural, and social needs of the society, with a task at hand to preserve media pluralism. The major obligation of public service media is usually for them to provide objective, validated, and balanced information for people, so they can choose freely where they stand on any given issue. However, examples of the failures of two public service media operating in the Central European Czech Republic, Czech Radio (?Ro), and Czech Television (?T), as well as the failures of the statutory control boards of these media, show that the required high quality public service prescribed by law, especially in the field of news and journalism and other programs, is not always kept. Public service media may be partisan and apply elements of modern censorship. This is a censorship that the law of the public service media does not impose and does not allow to carry out. Such censorship, which is a result of unilateral subordination of the influence of specific political parties, interest groups, and opinion streams, is reflected in information manipulation, purposeful agenda development, selection of information and information sources, spiral of silence, in the preference of some political parties, partisan, interest interpretation, and adaptation of reality in broadcasting.展开更多

A lower bound for local asymptotic minimax risk is given with respect to a bowl-shaped loss function, and fur-thermore a necessary and sufficient condition is given in order to achieve this lower bound. Recently,the non-trivial solutions for 4-dimensional black holes of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity had been discovered.In this paper,considering a charged particle entering into a 4-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet-Maxwell bla...Recently,the non-trivial solutions for 4-dimensional black holes of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity had been discovered.In this paper,considering a charged particle entering into a 4-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet-Maxwell black hole,we calculate the black hole thermodynamic properties using the Hamilton-Jacobi equation.In the normal phase space,the cosmological constant and Gauss-Bonnet parameter are fixed,the black hole satisfies the first and second laws of thermodynamics,and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)is valid.On the other hand,in the case of extended phase space,the cosmological constant and Gauss-Bonnet parameter are treated as thermodynamic variables.The black hole also satisfies the first law of thermodynamics.However,the increase or decrease in the black hole's entropy depends on some specific conditions.Finally,we observe that the WCCC is violated for the near-extremal black holes in the extended phase space.展开更多
It has been established that Strong Cosmic Censorship Conjecture(SCCC)is respected by an asymptotically flat black hole with charge,but violated by a charged asymptotically de Sitter black hole.We studied the instabil...It has been established that Strong Cosmic Censorship Conjecture(SCCC)is respected by an asymptotically flat black hole with charge,but violated by a charged asymptotically de Sitter black hole.We studied the instability of the Cauchy horizon for an accelerating black hole in Einstein theory conformally coupled with a scalar field.The black hole is uncharged while having inner,outer,and acceleration horizons.In the limit of vanishing acceleration,denoted by A→0,it becomes asymptotically flat and extremal,with its acceleration horizon vanishing as well.By exploring the perturbation of the massless scalar field upon the accelerating black hole,whose decay rate is governed by the quasinormal mode spectra,we show that the SCCC is violated in the near-extremal regime and also in the A→0+limit.Our result is the first observation of a black hole violating the SCCC in an almost asymptotically Minkowskian flat regime,as well as the first example of a black hole violating the SCCC with neither charge nor rotation.展开更多
We investigate the implication of trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC)for the initial state of primordial perturbations.It is possible to set the state of perturbation modes in the infinite past as the Minkowski...We investigate the implication of trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC)for the initial state of primordial perturbations.It is possible to set the state of perturbation modes in the infinite past as the Minkowski vacuum,only if the pre-inflationary era is past-complete.We calculate the evolution of the perturbation modes in such a pre-inflationary era and show that at the beginning of inflation the perturbation modes with wavelengths much shorter than the Hubble scale(but still larger than the Planck length scale)will behave as they are in the Bunch-Davis state.Therefore,a past-complete pre-inflationary evolution may automatically prepare the initial state required for the inflationary perturbations at the CMB window while obeying the TCC.展开更多
It has been shown that the Christodoulou version of the strong cosmic censorship(SCC)conjecture can be violated for a scalar field in a near-extremal Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole.In this paper,we investigat...It has been shown that the Christodoulou version of the strong cosmic censorship(SCC)conjecture can be violated for a scalar field in a near-extremal Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole.In this paper,we investigate the effects of higher derivative corrections to the Einstein-Hilbert action on the validity of SCC,by considering a neutral massless scalar perturbation in 5 -and 6 -dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Gauss-Bonnet-de Sitter black holes.Our numerical results show that the higher derivative term plays a different role in the d=5 case than it does in the d=6 case.For d=5 ,the SCC violation region increases as the strength of the higher derivative term increases.For d=6 ,the SCC violation region first increases and then decreases as the higher derivative correction becomes stronger,and SCC can always be restored for a black hole with a fixed charge ratio when the higher derivative correction is strong enough.Finally,we find that the C^(2) version of SCC is respected in the d=6 case,but can be violated in some near-extremal regimes in the d=5 case.展开更多
By throwing a test charged particle into a Reissner-Nordstrom(RN)black hole,we test the validity of the first and second laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)with two types of boundary...By throwing a test charged particle into a Reissner-Nordstrom(RN)black hole,we test the validity of the first and second laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)with two types of boundary conditions:the asymptotically anti-de Sitter(AdS)space and a Dirichlet cavity wall placed in an asymptot-ically flat space.For the RN-AdS black hole,the second law of thermodynamics is satisfied,and the WCCC is viol-ated for both extremal and near-extremal black holes.For the RN black hole in a cavity,the entropy can either in-crease or decrease depending on the change in the charge,and the WCCC is satisfied/violated for the extremal/near-extremal black hole.Our results indicate that there may be a connection between the black hole thermodynamics and the boundary condition imposed on the black hole.展开更多

文摘Considering the cosmological constant as the pressure,this study addresses the laws of thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture in the Reissner-Nordstrom-AdS black hole surrounded by quintessence dark energy under charged Particle absorption.The first law of thermodynamics i5 found to be valid as a Particle is absorbed by the black hole.The second law,however,is violated for the extremal and near-extremal black holes,because the entropy of these black hole decrease.Moreover,we find that the extremal black hole does not change its configuration in the extended phase space,implying that the weak cosmic censorship conjecture is valid.Remarkably,the near-extremal black hole can be overcharged beyond the extremal condition under charged particle absorption.Hence,the cosmic censorship conjecture could be violated for the near-extremal black hole in the extended phase space.For comparison,we also discuss the first law,second law,and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture in normal phase space,and find that all of them are valid in this case.
文摘Here we study the problems of local asymptotic normality of the parametric family of distri-butions and asymptotic minimax efficient estimators when the observations are subject to right censor-ing. Local asymptotic normality will be established under some mild regularity conditions. A lower bound for local asymptotic minimax risk is given with respect to a bowl-shaped loss function, and fur-thermore a necessary and sufficient condition is given in order to achieve this lower bound. Finally, we show that this lower bound can be attained by the maximum likelihood estimator in the censored case and hence it is local asymptotic minimax efficient.

文摘In this paper we obtain exact rates of uniform convergence for oscillation moduli and Lipschitz-1/2 moduli of PL-process and cumulative hazard process when the data are subject to left truncation and right censorship. Based on these results, the exact rates of uniform convergence for various types of density and hazard function estimators are derived.

文摘The first law of black hole thermodynamics has been shown to be valid in the extended phase space.However,the second law and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture have not been investigated extensively.We investigate the laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture of an AdS black hole with a global monopole in the extended phase space in the case of charged particle absorption.It is shown that the first law of thermodynamics is valid,while the second law is violated for the extremal and near-extremal black holes.Moreover,we find that the weak cosmic censorship conjecture is valid only for the extremal black hole,and that it can be violated for the near-extremal black holes,which is different from the previous results.

文摘Recently,the non-trivial solutions for 4-dimensional black holes of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity had been discovered.In this paper,considering a charged particle entering into a 4-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet-Maxwell black hole,we calculate the black hole thermodynamic properties using the Hamilton-Jacobi equation.In the normal phase space,the cosmological constant and Gauss-Bonnet parameter are fixed,the black hole satisfies the first and second laws of thermodynamics,and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)is valid.On the other hand,in the case of extended phase space,the cosmological constant and Gauss-Bonnet parameter are treated as thermodynamic variables.The black hole also satisfies the first law of thermodynamics.However,the increase or decrease in the black hole's entropy depends on some specific conditions.Finally,we observe that the WCCC is violated for the near-extremal black holes in the extended phase space.

文摘It has been established that Strong Cosmic Censorship Conjecture(SCCC)is respected by an asymptotically flat black hole with charge,but violated by a charged asymptotically de Sitter black hole.We studied the instability of the Cauchy horizon for an accelerating black hole in Einstein theory conformally coupled with a scalar field.The black hole is uncharged while having inner,outer,and acceleration horizons.In the limit of vanishing acceleration,denoted by A→0,it becomes asymptotically flat and extremal,with its acceleration horizon vanishing as well.By exploring the perturbation of the massless scalar field upon the accelerating black hole,whose decay rate is governed by the quasinormal mode spectra,we show that the SCCC is violated in the near-extremal regime and also in the A→0+limit.Our result is the first observation of a black hole violating the SCCC in an almost asymptotically Minkowskian flat regime,as well as the first example of a black hole violating the SCCC with neither charge nor rotation.

文摘We investigate the implication of trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC)for the initial state of primordial perturbations.It is possible to set the state of perturbation modes in the infinite past as the Minkowski vacuum,only if the pre-inflationary era is past-complete.We calculate the evolution of the perturbation modes in such a pre-inflationary era and show that at the beginning of inflation the perturbation modes with wavelengths much shorter than the Hubble scale(but still larger than the Planck length scale)will behave as they are in the Bunch-Davis state.Therefore,a past-complete pre-inflationary evolution may automatically prepare the initial state required for the inflationary perturbations at the CMB window while obeying the TCC.

文摘It has been shown that the Christodoulou version of the strong cosmic censorship(SCC)conjecture can be violated for a scalar field in a near-extremal Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole.In this paper,we investigate the effects of higher derivative corrections to the Einstein-Hilbert action on the validity of SCC,by considering a neutral massless scalar perturbation in 5 -and 6 -dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Gauss-Bonnet-de Sitter black holes.Our numerical results show that the higher derivative term plays a different role in the d=5 case than it does in the d=6 case.For d=5 ,the SCC violation region increases as the strength of the higher derivative term increases.For d=6 ,the SCC violation region first increases and then decreases as the higher derivative correction becomes stronger,and SCC can always be restored for a black hole with a fixed charge ratio when the higher derivative correction is strong enough.Finally,we find that the C^(2) version of SCC is respected in the d=6 case,but can be violated in some near-extremal regimes in the d=5 case.

文摘By throwing a test charged particle into a Reissner-Nordstrom(RN)black hole,we test the validity of the first and second laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture(WCCC)with two types of boundary conditions:the asymptotically anti-de Sitter(AdS)space and a Dirichlet cavity wall placed in an asymptot-ically flat space.For the RN-AdS black hole,the second law of thermodynamics is satisfied,and the WCCC is viol-ated for both extremal and near-extremal black holes.For the RN black hole in a cavity,the entropy can either in-crease or decrease depending on the change in the charge,and the WCCC is satisfied/violated for the extremal/near-extremal black hole.Our results indicate that there may be a connection between the black hole thermodynamics and the boundary condition imposed on the black hole.
