The northward subduction of the Neo-Tethys oceanic crust triggered multiple magmatic activities in the West Myanmar Arc,which in turn influenced the deposition of sedimentary pyroclastic rocks from the Cretaceous to Eocene strata in the Central Myanmar Basin(CMB).The pore structure of these lithologic reservoirs is complex and rich in tuffaceous sandstone, which plays an adverse role in reservoir development in this region. To understand the development characteristics and genetic mechanism of the pyroclastic rocks within three sets of reservoirs in this area,a comprehensive analysis was conducted through borehole core observations, thin section identification, scanning electron microscope analysis, and mercury injection tests. The tuffaceous sandstone from the upper Cretaceous to the Eocene is dominated by intermediate-acid volcanic rock debris. The pyroclastic rocks exhibit evident chloritization and ironization, with residual intergranular pores being the principal type accompanied by a smaller amount of intergranular dissolved pores and intragranular dissolved pores. The highest porosity is observed in the Eocene tuffaceous sandstone, ranging from 8%to 12%.The Late Cretaceous to Paleocene sandstones exhibit lower porosity levels of only 4%-6%.These reservoirs are characterized by their low porosity and low-permeability.Despite the presence of a good source rock in this area, the volcanic debris particles filling the pores,as well as their subsequent devitrification, chloritization, and limonite mineralization, result in pore throat blockage and narrowing. The reservoirs in this area are small in size, exhibit poor reservoir connectivity and lateral continuity, and fail to meet the necessary conditions for commercial-scale hydrocarbon accumulation and migration. 展开更多

In 2022,the risk exploration well Chongtan1(CT1)in the Sichuan Basin revealed commercial oil and gas flow during test in a new zone–the marl of the second submember of the third member of Leikoupo Formation(Lei-32)of Middle Triassic, recording a significant discovery. However, the hydrocarbon accumulation in marl remains unclear, which restricts the selection and deployment of exploration area.Focusing on Well CT1,the hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of Lei-32 marl are analyzed to clarify the potential zones for exploration. The following findings are obtained.First, according to the geochemical analysis of petroleum and source rocks, oil and gas in the Lei-32 marl of Well CT1 are originated from the same marl. The marl acts as both source rock and reservoir rock.Second, the Lei-32 marl in central Sichuan Basin is of lagoonal facies, with a thickness of 40–130 m,an area of about 40000 km^(2),a hydrocarbon generation intensity of(4–12)×10^(8) m^(3)/km^(2),and an estimated quantity of generated hydrocarbons of 25×10^(12) m^(3).Third,the lagoonal marl reservoirs are widely distributed in central Sichuan Basin.Typically,in Xichong–Yilong,Ziyang–Jianyang and Moxi South, the reservoirs are 20–60 m thick and cover an area of 7500 km^(2).Fourth,hydrocarbons in the lagoonal marl are generated and stored in the Lei-32 marl, which means that marl serves as both source rock and reservoir rock. They represent a new type of unconventional resource, which is worthy of exploring.Fifth, based on the interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data from central Sichuan Basin,Xichong and Suining are defined as favorable prospects with estimated resources of(2000–3000)×10^(8) m^(3). 展开更多

The Central Indian Basin (CIB, 10°-19°S) encompasses morphotectonic features such as seamounts, abyssal hills, faults, fracture zones and lineations and basic to silicic volcanics that were derived from different sources. Instances of incipient hydrothermal event (s) occurred as evident from: (1) spilites that probably formed due to low-temperature hydrothermal action on the precursory basalts, (2) slabs and fragments of zeolitites which are the consequent products of palagonitization of the basaltic glasses, (3) chemical variations in the ferromanganese crusts, and (4) abundance of volcanogenic-hydrothermal material (vhm) that includes ochrous sediments and magnetite spherules. The vhm suggests its origin by interaction of Fe-rich hydrothermal solutions with surrounding sediments. The CIB spherules occur in sediments of~10 ka and ~425 to 650 ka age and are orders of magnitude younger than the 50 to 60 Ma age of the basin. Incidentally, to the north of the basin at ODP Site 717-719(1 °S/81 °E) hydrothermal precipitates of inorganic calcite and deposition of sulphide minerals (~7.5 to 9 Ma and 0.5 Ma) occur as a result of the on-going intraplate deformation. This paper reviews the above evidences that possibly indicate episodes of localized hydrothermal events in the CIB. 展开更多

Grain size and clay mineral distribution up to 45 cm depth in the silty clay sediments from 26 box cores from 10°to 16°S along four longitudes(73.5°-76.5°E)were studied for understanding spatial variability in the Central Indian Basin(CIB).It was observed that the average sand content in the basin is 3.8%,which decreases systematically and longitudinally to 0.3%towards south. The average illite and chlorite major clay mineral abundance also decrease southwards along the four longitudes from 10°S,and show the limit of influence of the Ganges-Brahmaputra river's supply up to 10°S.However, the average clay content increases from west to east in the basin, and southwards along 73.5°E and either side of the 76.5°E fracture zone(FZ),which strongly suggests the possibility of clay supply due to circulation of Antarctic Bottom Water(AABW)from the south through the FZ.The distribution of four clay minerals along 73°and 76.5°E FZ in the CIB shows dissimilar trends of increase and decrease, and indicate a mix environment in the basin. This study indicates that the FZ in the CIB has an important role in controlling the distribution of clay minerals. 展开更多

The Central Indian Ocean Basin (CIOB) basalts are plagioclase-rich, while olivine and pyroxene are very few. The analyses of 41 samples reveal high FeOT (~10-18 wt%) and TiO 2 (~1.4-2.7 wt%) indicating a ferrobasaltic composition. The basalts have high incompatible elements (Zr 63-228 ppm; Nb ~1-5 ppm; Ba ~15-78 ppm; La ~3-16 ppm), a similar U/Pb (0.02-0.4) ratio as the normal midoceanic basalt (0.16±0.07) but the Ba/Nb (12.5-53) ratio is much larger than that of the normal midoceanic ridge basalt (~5.7) and Primitive Mantle (9.56). Interestingly almost all of the basalts have a significant negative Eu anomaly (Eu/Eu*=0.78-1.00) that may have been a result of the removal of feldspar and pyroxene during crystal fractionation. These compositional variations suggest that the basalts were derived through fractional crystallization together with low partial melting of a shallow seated magma. 展开更多

About 400 pumice clasts collected from the Central Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)were studied for their morphology and were classified based on their shape and size.A majority of the samples range between1 cm and 36 cm and in the Zinggs shape diagram plot in the equant and oblate fields. The Corey Shape Factor for most of the samples is close to 0.7,which is common for volcaniclastic material. The physical properties such as density, specific gravity, void ratio, porosity, moisture content and degree of saturation, were determined for 30 pumice samples.Density varies from 0.21 to 0.74 g/cm^3 specific gravity 1.84 to 3.27,void ratio 2.21 to 10.67,porosity 67%to 91%,moisture content during sinking 0.44 to 2.35 and degree of saturation varies from 26.5%to 86%.Binocular and electron microscopy studies reveal that 60%of the vesicles are elongated,30%are spherical and 10%are fibrous.Petrography of the pumices exhibits vitrophyric texture with phenocrysts of feldspars and clinopyroxenes.X-ray diffractrogram and mineral analyses confirm plagioclase to be a major phase, while quartz and orthoclase are not uncommon.Todorokite is commonly present in the ferromanganese oxide coating present over some of the pumices. This paper also delves into some details concerning the controversial origin of the pumices and glass shards in the CIOB. 展开更多

Vertical differential structural deformation(VDSD),one of the most significant structural characteristics of strike-slip fault zones(SSFZs)in the Shunbei area,is crucial for understanding deformation in the SSFZ and its hydrocarbon accumulation significance.Based on drilling data and high-precision 3-D seismic data,we analyzed the geometric and kinematic characteristics of the SSFZs in the Shunbei area.Coupled with the stratification of the rock mechanism, the structural deformations of these SSFZs in different formations were differentiated and divided into four deformation layers.According to comprehensive structural interpretations and comparisons, three integrated 3-D structural models could describe the VDSD of these SSFZs.The time-space coupling of the material basis(rock mechanism stratification),changing dynamic conditions(e.g.,changing stress-strain states),and special deformation mechanism of the en echelon normal fault array uniformly controlled the formation of the VDSD in the SSFZs of the Shunbei area. The VDSD of the SSFZs in this area controlled the entire hydrocarbon accumulation process.Multi-stage structural superimposing deformation influenced the hydrocarbon migration, accumulation, distribution, preservation, and secondary adjustments. 展开更多

Hydrothermal mineral assemblages and related hydrothermally enhanced fracturing are common in the Precambrian Dengying Formation of Central Sichuan Basin. Petrographic and geochemical analyses of core samples show that the hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs of Dengying Formation consist of four main types of pores in the reservoir facies. These include: 1) hydrothermal dissolution vug(or pore), 2) intercrystalline pore, 3) residual inter-breccia vug(or pore), and 4) enlarged dissolved-fracture. There are three different fabrics dolomite in hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs, namely, saddle dolomite, fine-medium dolomite and micritic dolomite. Micritic dolomite is the original lithology of host rock. Saddle dolomite with curved or irregular crystal faces was directly crystallized from hydrothermal fluids(average temperature 192°C). Fine-medium dolomites are the products of recrystallization of micritic dolomite, resulting in abnormal geochemical characteristics, such as slight depletion of δ^(18)O, significant enrichment of Mn-Fe and ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr, and positive Eu anomaly. A model for the distribution of various hydrothermal dolomite reservoir facies is proposed here, which incorporates three fundamental geological controls: 1) extensional tectonics and tectono-hydrothermal events(i.e., the Xingkai Taphrogenesis of Late Sinian-Early Cambrian, and Emei Taphrogenesis of Late Permian), 2) hydrothermal fluid storage in clastic rocks with large thickness(e.g., Nanhua System of Chengjiang Formation and part of Doushantuo Formation), and 3) confining bed for hydrothermal fluids(such as, the shale in Qiongzhusi Formation). The supply of hydrothermal fluid is critical. Large basement-rooted faults and associated grid-like fracture system may function as the channels for upward migration of hydrothermal fluid flow. The intersection of the above-mentioned faults(including the conversion fault), especially transtensional sags above negative flower structures on wrench faults can serve as a key target for future hydrocarbon exploration. 展开更多

Authigenic clays and calcite cements are important in the development of reservoir tightness and the formation of hydrocarbon sweet spots. We investigated Jurassic low-permeability sandstone reservoirs in the central Junggar Basin,NW China, using petrography, mineralogy, porosity, and permeability assessment, and stable C and O isotope analysis to ascertain the influence of authigenic clays and calcites on reservoir quality. Here,we establish the properties and diagenetic processes of the reservoir sandstones, and construct a generalizable model of reservoir quality. The results show that the sandstones are mainly litharenite and feldspathic litharenite and can be classified into ductile-lithic-rich sandstones and ductile-lithic-poor sandstones according to rock composition. The ductile-lithic-rich sandstones are tight(mean porosity?7.31%;mean permeability?0.08 mD)as a result of intense compaction. In contrast, the ductile-lithic-poor sandstones can be classified into five types according to diagenetic process. The formation of favorable hydrocarbon reservoir properties is closely related to the presence of authigenic clays and dissolution of calcite. In particular, kaolinite fills intergranular pores, thereby blocking pore space and reducing reservoir quality.Chlorite coating resists compaction and limits the formation of quartz overgrowths, thereby preserving pore space and enhancing reservoir quality.Calcite controls reservoir quality through both precipitation and dissolution.Calcite precipitation results in reduced reservoir quality, whereby early calcites that were precipitated in formation water resist compaction and provide the basis for subsequent dissolution and late precipitation, whereas dissolution of calcite in mesodiagenesis improves reservoir quality.A generalized model is formulated by relating diagenetic facies types to depth and porosity, providing a reference for other similar reservoirs. Our data suggest that deeply buried tight sandstones can be exploration prospects under favorable conditions involving the presence of authigenic clays and dissolution of calcite,as in the central Junggar Basin of this study. 展开更多

A new method for reconstructing the geological history of hydrocarbon accumulation is developed, which are constrained by U-Pb isotope age and clumped isotope((35)47) temperature of host minerals of hydrocarbon-bearing inclusions. For constraining the time and depth of hydrocarbon accumulation by the laser in-situ U-Pb isotope age and clumped isotope temperature, there are two key steps:(1) Investigating feature, abundance and distribution patterns of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon inclusions with optical microscopes.(2) Dating laser in-situ U-Pb isotope age and measuring clumped isotope temperature of the host minerals of hydrocarbon inclusions. These technologies have been applied for studying the stages of hydrocarbon accumulation in the Sinian Dengying gas reservoir in the paleo-uplift of the central Sichuan Basin. By dating the U-Pb isotope age and measuring the temperature of clumped isotope((35)47) of the host minerals of hydrocarbon inclusions in dolomite, three stages of hydrocarbon accumulation were identified:(1) Late Silurian: the first stage of oil accumulation at(416±23) Ma.(2) Late Permian to Early Triassic: the second stage of oil accumulation between(248±27) Ma and(246.3±1.5) Ma.(3) Yanshan to Himalayan period: gas accumulation between(115±69) Ma and(41±10) Ma. The reconstructed hydrocarbon accumulation history of the Dengying gas reservoir in the paleo-uplift of the central Sichuan Basin is highly consistent with the tectonic-burial history, basin thermal history and hydrocarbon generation history, indicating that the new method is a reliable way for reconstructing the hydrocarbon accumulation history. 展开更多

Isotachophoresis results indicate that the total concentrations of organic acids in Ordovician formation waters range from 9.17 mg/L to 94.49 mg/L and are obviously higher than those of Permo-Carboniferous formation waters. But both of them have the same compositional characteristics, i.e., acetic acid >>formic acid >propanoic acid >butanoic acid. The total alkyl phenol contents of Ordovician formation waters range from {0.57} mg/L to {4.73} mg/L, averaging {1.77} mg/L. Among the samples for phenol detection, {47.06%} samples contain less than {1.0 mg/L}, {35.29%} samples {1.0}-{3.0} mg/L, and only {17.65%} samples more than {3.0 mg/L} alkyl phenol. The concentrations of organic acids and alkyl phenols in the Majiagou formation waters are of obviously heterogeneous distribution. There are several areas where the concentrations of organic acids and phenols are high in central Ordos Basin. These organic acid- and phenol-high areas (organic acids {>45} mg/L and phenols {>2.0 mg/L}) are consistent with natural gas reservoir enriched areas in central Ordos Basin. 展开更多

The reservoir space, types and distribution characteristics of karst carbonate gas reservoirs in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation(Deng 4 Member)in central Sichuan Basin are analyzed based on the drilling, logging and seismic data.A development model of karst reservoirs is constructed to support the high-efficiency development of gas pools. The research shows that the reservoirs in Deng 4 Member have mainly small-scale karst vugs and fractures as storage space, and can be divided into three types,fracture-vug,pore-vug and pore types. The development patterns of the karst reservoirs are determined. On the plane, the karst layers increase from 65 m to 170 m in thickness from the karst platform to the karst slope, and the high-quality reservoirs increase from 25.0 m to 42.2 m in thickness;vertically, the reservoirs at the top of Deng 4 Member appear in multiple layers, and show along-bedding and along fracture dissolution characteristics. The reservoirs at the bottom are characterized by the dissolution parallel to the water level during the karstification period, and have 3-5 large-scale fracture-cave systems.Based on the reservoir development characteristics and the genetic mechanism, three types of reservoir development models of karst reservoir are established,i.e.,bed-dissolved body,fracture-dissolved body and paleohorizon-dissolved body. The construction of karst reservoir development models and seismic response characteristics of the three types of reservoirs can provide parameter for well placement and trajectory design, and substantially improve productivity and development indices of individual wells and gas reservoirs. The designed production capacity of the gas reservoir has enhanced from the initial 3.6 billion to 6 billion cubic meters, making the profit of the reservoir development increase noticeably. 展开更多

Foreland basin represents one of the most important hydrocarbon habitats in central and western China. To distinguish these foreland basins regionally, and according to the need of petroleum exploration and favorable exploration areas, the foreland basins in central and western China can be divided into three structural types: superimposed, retrogressive and reformative foreland basin (or thrust belt), each with distinctive petroleum system characteristics in their petroleum system components (such as the source rock, reservoir rock, caprock, time of oil and gas accumulation, the remolding of oil/gas reservoir after accumulation, and the favorable exploration area, etc.). The superimposed type foreland basins, as exemplified by the Kuqa Depression of the Tarim Basin, characterized by two stages of early and late foreland basin development, typically contain at least two hydrocarbon source beds, one deposited in the early foreland development and another in the later fault-trough lake stage. Hydrocarbon accumulations in this type of foreland basin often occur in multiple stages of the basin development, though most of the highly productive pools were formed during the late stage of hydrocarbon migration and entrapment (Himalayan period). This is in sharp contrast to the retrogressive foreland basins (only developing foreland basin during the Permian to Triassic) such as the western Sichuan Basin, where prolific hydrocarbon source rocks are associated with sediments deposited during the early stages of the foreland basin development. As a result, hydrocarbon accumulations in retrogressive foreland basins occur mainly in the early stage of basin evolution. The reformative foreland basins (only developing foreland basin during the Himalayan period) such as the northern Qaidam Basin, in contrast, contain organic-rich, lacustrine source rocks deposited only in fault-trough lake basins occurring prior to the reformative foreland development during the late Cenozoic, with hydrocarbon accumulations taking place relatively late (Himalayan period). Therefore, the ultimate hydrocarbon potentials in the three types of foreland basins are largely determined by the extent of spatial and temporal matching among the thrust belts, hydrocarbon source kitchens, and regional and local caprocks. 展开更多

This study presents new major, trace and REE data for thirty-five ferromanganese nodules recovered from areas representing three different sediment types(siliceous, red clay and their transition zone)in the Central Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)to address their genetic aspects, classification, growth rate, nature of host sediments and influence of REE in the processes of nodule formation. The nodules from CIOB are mostly either hydrogenetic(metals coming from oxygenated bottom water)and diagenetic(metals coming from suboxic sediment pore water)or a combination of both, depending on the source of supply of metal. However,a number of biogeochemical processes mediate this supply of metals which again changes from time to time, making the nodule growth process highly dynamic. This study suggests that at the initial stage of nodule growth, host sediments do not play much role in controlling the growth processes for which REEs can enter both Mn and Fe oxyhydroxide phases equally. Thus, the bottom water signature is imprinted in these early formed nodules irrespective of their host sediment substrate but with gradual growth and burial in the sediment, the main mode of metal enrichment becomes diagenetic through sediment pore water. This tends to increase the concentration of Mn,Ni and Cu over other elements which are retained in the sediment fraction.Among the REEs,Ce concentration of the nodules shows significant positive anomaly due to variation in redox potential and hence its magnitude can be used to get an idea about the metal enrichment procedure and the genetic type of the nodules. However, based on host sediment only, not much difference is found in the magnitude of Ce anomaly in these nodules. On the other hand, discrimination diagram, based on HFSE and REY chemistry, indicates that most of these nodules are of diagenetic origin under oxic condition with a trend towards hydrogenetic field.Further, the genetic type of the ferromanganese nodules from the CIOB are more effectively differentiated by a combination of their major and trace element concentrations rather than solely based on their REE or HFSE chemistry or host sediment substrate. 展开更多

Koshi River basin, which lies in the Central Himalayas with an area of 71,500 km2, is an important trans-boundary river basin shared by China, Nepal and India. Yet, landslide-prone areas are all located in China and Nepal, imposing alarming risks of widespread damages to property and loss of human life in both countries. Against this backdrop, this research, by utilizing remote sensing images and topographic maps, has identified a total number of 6877 landslides for the past 23 years and further examined their distribution, characteristics and causes. Analysis shows that the two-step topography in the Himalayan region has a considerable effect on the distribution of landslides in this area. Dense distribution of landslides falls into two regions: the Lesser Himalaya(mostly small and medium size landslides in east-west direction) and the TransitionBelt(mostly large and medium size landslides along the river in north-south direction). Landslides decrease against the elevation while the southern slopes of the Himalayas have more landslides than its northern side. Change analysis was carried out by comparing landslide distribution data of 1992, 2010 and 2015 in the Koshi River basin. The rainfallinduced landslides, usually small and shallow and occurring more frequently in regions with an elevation lower than 1000 m, are common in the south and south-east slopes due to heavy precipitation in the region, and are more prone to the slope gradient of 20°~30°. Most of them are distributed in Proterozoic stratum(Pt3ε, Pt3 and Pt2-3) and Quaternary stratum. While for earthquake-induced landslides, they are more prone to higher elevations(2000~3000 m) and steeper slopes(40°~50°). 展开更多

Based on the interpretation of high resolution 2D/3D seismic data, sedimentary filling characteristics and full- filled time of the Central Canyon in different segments in the Qiongdongnan Basin of northwestern South China Sea have been studied. The research results indicate that the initial formation age of the Central Canyon is traced back to 11.6 Ma (T40), at which the canyon began to develop due to the scouring of turbidity currents from west to east. During the period of 11.6-8.2 Ma (T40-T31), strong downcutting by gravity flow occurred, which led to the formation of the canyon. The canyon fillings began to form since 8.2 Ma (T31) and were dominated by turbidite deposits, which constituted of lateral migration and vertical superposition of turbidity channels during the time of 8.2-5.5 Ma. The interbeds of turbidity currents deposits and mass transport deposits (MTDs) were developed in the period of 5.5-3.8 Ma (T30-T28). After then, the canyon fillings were primarily made up of large scale MTDs, interrupted by small scale turbidity channels and thin pelagic mudstones. The Central Canyon can be divided into three types according to the main controlling factors, geomorphology-controlled, fault-controlled and intrusion- modified canyons. Among them, the geomorphology-controlled canyon is developed at the Ledong, Lingshui, Songnan and western Baodao Depressions, situated in a confined basin center between the northern slope and the South Uplift Belt along the Central Depression Belt. The fault-controlled canyon is developed mainly along the deep-seated faults in the Changchang Depression and eastern Baodao Depression. Intrusion-modified canyon is only occurred in the Songnan Low Uplift, which is still mainly controlled by geomorphology, the intrusion just modified seabed morphology. The full-filled time of the Central Canyon differs from west to east, displaying a tendency of being successively late eastward. The geomorphology-controlled canyon was completely filled before 3.8 Ma (T28), but that in intrusion-modified canyon was delayed to 2.4 Ma (T27) because of the uplifted southern canyon wall. To the Changchang Depression, the complete filling time was successively late eastward, and the canyon in eastern Changchang Depression is still not fully filled up to today. Difference in full-filled time in the Central Canyon is mainly governed by multiple sediment supplies and regional tectonic activities. Due to sufficient supply of turbidity currents and MTDs from west and north respectively, western segment of the Central Canyon is entirely filled up earlier. Owing to slower sediment supply rate, together with differential subsidence by deep-seated faults, the full-filled time of the canyon is put off eastwards gradually. 展开更多

Objective The natural gas exploration of the Sinian reservoirs in the central Sichuan Basin has made a significant breakthrough in recent years, and has thus attracted much attention among geologists. The Sichuan Basin is known to have complicated geological settings, which has experienced multiple stages of tectonic evolution, fluid charging and hydrocarbon accumulation. This research aims to determine the geochemical characteristics of each stage of fluids, the features and time interval of fluid activity in different geologic periods, and further to restore the critical period and geological age of the hydrocarbon accumulation. 展开更多

Fluid/rock interaction occurs frequently in the sandstones near the overpressure top in central Junggar Basin, and carbonate cementation-dissolution is related closely to the formation of secondary pores in the reservoir sandstones. From petrological, hydrochemical and fluid-inclusion studies of the deep-seated sandstones near the overpressure top in central Junggar Basin and the carbon and oxygen isotopic characteristics of carbonate cements in those sandstones, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) Carbonates are the major cements. Two-stage cementation was commonly developed, with late-stage ferroan carbonate cementation being dominant; several secondary porosity zones were developed vertically in the sandstones near the overpressure top, and there is a mutually compensatory relationship between the carbonate contents and the mean porosity; (2) the alkalescent formation-water chemical environments are in favor of carbonate precipitation; (3) there were two phases of thermal fluid activity which are related to the late-stage carbonate cementation-dissolution; (4) with the overpressure top as the boundary, carbonate cements in the sandstones have slightly negative δ13C and δ18O values, showing such a variation trend that the δ13C and δ18O values near the coal-bearing Jurassic strata are lighter, those in the overpressure top are heavier, and those at the upper part of the overpressure top are lighter, which is considered to be the result of kinetic isotope fractionation driven by episodically overpressured fluid flow; (5) carbonate cementation is closely associated with the decarboxylation of organic acids, and secondary porosity zones resultant from dissolution by organic acids and CO2 derived from Jurassic coal-bearing strata, are the most important reservoir space of hydrocarbon, Studies of the mechanisms of carbonate cementation-dissolution and formation of secondary pores in the deep-seated sandstones near the overpressure top are of great significance both in theory and in practice in further investigating the rules of overpressured fluid flow (especially oil/gas migration) and predicting the reservoir space of hydrocarbon. 展开更多
