Drip irrigation was found to be an effective method to reclaim salt-affected land. In order to improve the effect of reclamation and sustainability of salt-affected land production, a field experiment (with reclaimed 1-3 yr fields) was carried out to investigate changes in soil physical, chemical, and biological properties during the process of reclamation with cropping maize and drip irrigation. Results showed that soil bulk density in 0-20 cm soil layer decreased from 1.71 g·cm-3 in unreclaimed land to 1.44 g ·cm^-3 in reclaimed 3 yr fields, and saturated soil water content of 0-10 cm layer increased correspondingly from 20.3 to 30.2%. Both soil salinity and pH value in 0-40 cm soil layer dropped markedly after reclaiming 3 yr. Soil organic matter content reduced, while total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and total potassium all tended to increase after cropping and drip irrigation. The quantities of bacteria, actinomycete, and fungi in 0-40 cm soil layer all greatly increased with increase of reclaimed years, and they tended to distribute homogeneously in 0-40 cm soil profile. The urease activity and alkaline phosphatase activity in 0-40 cm soil layers were also enhanced, but the sucrase activity was not greatly changed. These results indicated that after crop cultivation and drip irrigation, soil physical environment and nutrients status were both improved. This was benefit for microorganism's activity and plant's growth.展开更多

The R–T compounds are studied by means of magnetic measurements, heat capacity measurements, magnetoresistance measurements and neutron powder diffraction measurements. The R–T compounds show complex magnetic transitions and interesting magnetic properties. The types of magnetic transitions are investigated and confirmed in detail by multiple approaches. Especially, most of the R–T compounds undergo more than one magnetic transition, which has significant impact on the magnetocaloric effect of R–T compounds. The MCE of R–T compounds are calculated by different ways and the special shapes of MCE peaks for different compounds are investigated and discussed in detail. To improve the MCE performance of R–T compounds, atoms with large spin(S) and atoms with large total angular momentum(J) are introduced to substitute the related rare earth atoms. With the atom substitution, the maximum of magnetic entropy change(?SM), refrigerant temperature width(Twidth)or refrigerant capacity(RC) is enlarged for some R–T compounds. In the low temperature range, binary R–T(R = Pr, Gd,Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm; T = Ga, Ni, Co, Cu) intermetallic compounds(including RGa series, RNi series,R_(12)Co_7 series, R_3 Co series and RCu_2series) show excellent performance of MCE, indicating the potential application for gas liquefaction in the future.展开更多

Both the C-GST films without and with a thin SiO2 capping layer(C-GST and C-GST/SiO2) are deposited for comparison. Large differences are observed between C-GST and C-GST/SiO2 films in resistance-temperature, x-ray diffraction, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Raman spectra, data retention capability and optical band gap measurements. In the C-GST film, resistancetemperature measurement reveals an unusual smooth decrease in resistance above 110℃ during heating. Xray diffraction result has excluded the possibility of phase change in the C-GST film below 170℃. The x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy experimental result reveals the evolution of Te chemical valence because of the carbon oxidation during heating. Raman spectra further demonstrate that phase changes from an amorphous state to the hexagonal state occur directly during heating in the C-GST film. The quite smooth decrease in resistance is believed to be related with the formation of Te-rich GeTe4-n Gen(n = 0, 1) units above 110℃ in the C-GST film. The oxidation of carbon is harmful to the C-GST phase change properties.展开更多

The morphology, heat-resistance, electromagnetic properties and microwave absorption of raw-CIPs and silica-coated CIPs are investigated using a scanning electron microscope, an energy dispersive spectrometer, a thermal-gravimetric analyzer, and a network analyzer. The results show that the heat-resistance of silica-coated CIPs is better than that of raw CIFs. The reflection losses exceeding -lOdB of silica-coated CIPs are obtained in the frequency range 9.5-12.4 GHz for the absorber thickness of 2.3 mm, and the same reflection losses of uncoated CIPs reach the data in the lower frequency range for the same thickness. The enhanced microwave absorption of silica-coated CIPs can be ascribed to the combination of proper electromagnetic impedance match and the decrease of dielectric permittivity.展开更多

The ndcrocapsules containing 100 - 50 wt% of n - octadecane, 0 -20 wt% of paraffin and 0 - 30 wt% of cyclohexane were synthesized by in-situ polymerization using melamine- formaldehyde polymer as shell. Cyclohexane was removed after heat-treated the microcapsules at 100℃. The morphologies, cell parameters, phase change properties, thermal stable temperatures of these microcapsules were examined. The diameters of these microcapsules are lower than 5 μm. The effect of paraffin in the microcapsules on the cell parameters of n-octadecane is negligible. The paraff'm is effectively used as a nucleating agent to decrease the degree of supercooling. The melting enthalpy is decreased from 132 J/g to 111 J/g due to the increase of the cyclohexane contents. The thermal stable temperature is enhanced 6 - 16℃ after heat-treated the microcapsules at 160℃ for 30 min.展开更多

Partial substitution of N for C leads to the monotonic reduction in both the Curie temperature Tc and saturated magnetization Ms. The final results obtained from thermo-magnetie curves demonstrate that Mn3InC1-xNx samples show a magnetic phase transition from a paramagnetic (PM) state to a ferrimagnetic (FIM) state consisting of ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetie (AFM) components. In addition, there is a competition between the AFM component and the FM component in the FIM state with the change of the N-doped content. Magnetic measurements of Mn3InC at 100 Oe and 5000 Oe indicate the metastability and the coexistence of different magnetic phases at lower temperature. The spans of FIM phase broaden gradually with further N doping. The mechanism for the induction of the complicated magnetic state is still in controversy. However, the results clearly show that the doping at the X site in antiperovskite Mn3AX materials is as useful as that of the A and Mn sites.展开更多

The DSC and WAXD measurement and SEM observation show that liquid-induced crystallization of PET matrix has occurred during the preparation of composite films. Depending upon the equilibrium degree of swelling and crystallinity, the limited depth of penetration of pyrrole molecules results in a skin-core structure of the composite film. The skin layer containing charge transfer intercalated polypyrrole has a surface resistance of 3.5×10;Ω. Rigid and heat-resistant polypyrrole molecules formed in PET film increase the tensile modulus and, especially, the rigidity of PET at elevated temperatures. However, they decrease the tensile strength and elongation at break, and impair the thermal ductility of PET.展开更多

This paper reviews the research status of inclusions modification by RE elements and the changes it cause on steel properties. First, the inclusion changes caused by RE modification are described. Generally, after adding pure RE, the main evolution of inclusions occurs as M →M + RE-Al-O → RE-Al-O + RE_(2)O_(2)S → RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE—S/RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE-O with an increase in the RE content(M represents the inclusions before RE addition). The type of final inclusion obtained after RE modification is related to the relative contents of S and O in the steel. Moreover, fine, regular, and uniformly distributed inclusions can be obtained with appropriate RE addition. However, the effectiveness of inclusions modification by adding both RE and non-RE elements is closely related to the order of their addition. Second, the applications and advantages of thermodynamic calculations in the study of RE-modified inclusions are introduced. Third, the changes in the corrosion resistance, impact properties, and other properties of steel caused by the modification of inclusions by RE are reviewed. Finally, the perspectives and trends of inclusions modified by RE elements in the steel industry are presented.展开更多

The phase change microcapsules(microPCMs) were prepared by an in situ polymerization using sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) as emulsifiers. Surface morphology, particle size, chemical structure, and thermal properties of microPCMs were, respectively, characterized by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), and thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA). Low-temperature resistance performances were measured at-15,-30,-45, and-60 ℃ after microPCMs were coated on a cotton fabric by foaming technology. The results showed that spherical microPCMs had 4.4 μm diameter and 100 nm wall thickness. The melting and freezing temperatures and the latent heats of the microPCMs were determined as 28.9 and 29.6 ℃ as well as 110.0 and 115.7 J/g, respectively. Encapsulation of n-alkane mixture achieved 84.9 %. TGA analysis indicated that the microPCMs had good chemical stability below 250 ℃. The results showed that the microencapsulated n-alkane mixture had good energy storage potential. After the addition of 10 % microPCMs, low-temperature resistance duration was prolonged by 126.9%, 145.5%, 128.6%, and 87.5% in environment of-15,-30,-45 and-60 ℃, respectively as compared to pure fabric. Based on the results, phase change microcapsule plays an effective role in lowtemperature protection field for the human body.展开更多

Finally, the perspectives and trends of inclusions modified by RE elements in the steel industry are presented.

文摘We investigated synthesis and characterization of melamine-urea-formaldehyde(MUF) microcapsules containing n-alkane mixture as phase change core material for thermal energy storage and low-temperature protection. Based on the results, phase change microcapsule plays an effective role in lowtemperature protection field for the human body.
文摘Changqing old oilfield Jurassic reservoir's average calibration recovery is 24.7%,with geological reserves recovery of 16.6%,water cut of 65.2%.And most of Jurassic reservoirs are in the middle and later field life, part of them has entered the high water cut and high recovery stage.Traditional water flooding way for improving oil recovery becomes more difficult, and new method has to be considered.Maling oilfield BS district is a typical representative, with high water cut of 90.8%,high recovery percent of 26.1%and low oil recovery rate of 0.25%.To explore the new way to improve oil recovery, the polymer and surfactant(SP for short)important pilot test has been developed. The low permeability reservoir indoor core data in high water cut stage and inspection well results indicate that the reservoir permeability, pore combination characteristics and pore type changed greatly after long-term water flooding development. These changes bring more difficulties to the continue development, especially the high injection pressure, which can cause other problems for well pattern infilling and EOR.This paper takes the high injection pressure problem of Maling BS district Jurassic reservoir for example, analyzes the physical property change law on the following aspects:the development mode in the past, core analysis, formation sensitivity, interstitial matter, well test interpretation results,in order to help to further effective development and provide important parameters for tertiary oil recovery technique for similar reservoirs and others.
