CVD predisposition risk varies according to age, gender, education, socioeconomic factors, and place of residency. In addition, CVD risk factors include physical inactivity, sedentary lifestyle, saturated fatty acid high diet, smoking, and stress. Aim: This is a systematic review study that aims to determine the effect of mindful mediation, physical activity, and diet on CVD in SA. Materials and Methods: This is a systematic electronic search method in Google scholar, PubMed, and Medline. Papers collected are papers that have been published since 2015. The search uses the following keywords: (Cardiovascular disease OR physical activity OR Physical inactivity OR meditation OR diet) AND Saudi Arabia. Data were extracted from each study through a narrative summary of each study. Results: Forty papers collected from 2015 to 2022 were included in the narrative study. Physical activity, diet, and mindful meditation are among the factors that can reduce the risk of development of CVD or severity of disease in patients with a CVD. Conclusion: This systematic review emphasized risk factors like physical inactivity, poor diet, and low level of awareness among Saudis and CVD Saudi patients. The findings show the role of physical activity, mindful meditation, and diet in reducing the onset or severity of cardiovascular disease.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a common inflammatory disease of the pancreas with high mortality rates. It is of great significance to take scientific intervention measures for patients with AP in time.AIM To explore the effect of standardized nursing combined with mindfulness stress reduction training on the curative effect, negative emotion, and quality of life in patients with acute pancreatitis.METHODS A total of 80 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to The First People's Hospital of Jiangxia District Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group(n=40).Patients in control group were given the standardized nursing intervention, and the observation group were given standardized nursing plus mindfulness stress reduction training intervention. The time of clinical symptom disappeared or improved, complication occurrence rate, emotional state, and quality of life score of the two groups were observed and compared.RESULTS In comparison with the control group, the bowel sound recovery time, ventosity and abdominal pain improvement time, and venting and cacation time in observation group were shorter, and the total incidence rate of complications was reduced, showing statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The scores of anxiety and depression in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Serum levels of tumour necrosis factor alpha,interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1βand IL-8 in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The scores of life quality in physiology, psychology, environment and social relations in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The application of standardized nursing intervention combined with mindfulness stress reduction training in patients with acute pancreatitis has a definite effect, which can help to ameliorate the clinical symptoms, anxiety and depression of patients, reduce the incidence rate of complications, and improve the prognosis of patients.
文摘How to think a unique and determinative turn in analytic philosophy of mind?To answer this question this article first presents an attempt to render clear that analytic phenomenology,by contrast with conceptions of phenomenology of the XXth century, beneficially dispenses with several methodological and conceptual assumptions that were assumed to be compulsory,as phenomenological reduction,a notion of synthesis, and a philosophical notion of the a priori. It then presents some eventual difficulties to the achievement of a phenomenological turn within analytic philosophy, which are,the neglect of historicity, abstractionism, the acknowledgement of the place of language in our lives, and solipsism. It finally presents several demands that concern the felicity of contemporary analytic phenomenologies,namely,anti-abstractionism,fallibilism,attention to polyadic relations, and the integration of ecological and decolonial concerns of our cultures.
文摘Objective:We examined the effects of mindfulness-based interventions(MBIs)on depressive symptoms in patients with substance use disorders(SUDs)and explored the moderating effects of participant, method, and intervention characteristics. Methods:We systematically searched 8 databases from their inception till November 2021.The inclusion criteria were primary studies evaluating MBIs in patients with SUDs with depression measured as an outcome, those including a control group, and those written in English. We used a random-effects model to compute effect sizes(ESs)using Hedges’g,a forest plot, and Q and I2 statistics as measures of heterogeneity;we also examined moderator analyses. Results:Nineteen studies included 1352 participants(age:38.6±7.0 years).Overall,MBIs showed significantly improved depression(g=0.67,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.29,1.05,I2=89%)compared to controls. With regard to moderators, providing MBIs as an individual plus group intervention had a greater effect(g=2.13)on reducing depressive symptoms than providing MBIs as a group intervention(g=0.64)or an individual intervention only(g=0.33,P=0.034).Using concealed allocation tended to reduce depressive symptoms(g=1.22)as compared to not using concealed allocation(g=0.48,P=0.086).No other quality indicators were demonstrated to have a moderating influence on the value of the ES.Conclusions:MBIs improved depressive symptoms in patients with SUDs.MBIs might be used as an adjunctive or alternative to conventional treatment for depressed patients with SUDs.
文摘Against the background of the new curriculum reform, teachers are no longer just expected to impart knowledge exclusively, but they also carry the responsibility to encourage students to think independently, improve students’thinking skills, and cultivate good learning and thinking habits among students,so as to enable students to use knowledge in a flexible manner and improve their thinking skills.General zoology is a highly specialized discipline, with scattered knowledge points and various concepts.Since the traditional teaching mode limits students’mastery of knowledge points, teachers need to find a teaching method that can help students understand knowledge points and exercise independent thinking.Mind mapping is a concrete thinking tool that helps students exercise their thinking skills. The introduction of mind mapping in the teaching of general zoology allows students to have a clearer understanding of the overall framework of this discipline. The application of mind mapping can be divided into four parts:pre-class preview, classroom study,after-class review, and zoology experiment. The application of mind mapping to teaching not only improves students’learning efficiency, but also enhances students’comprehensive ability and stimulates their interest in general zoology. In this paper, the 17th chapter of“Fish”in general zoology is taken as an example to elaborate the application of mind mapping in the teaching of general zoology.
文摘Through the results of observations, questionnaires, tests, and other aspects from students, parents, teachers, schools, and society,we deeply explored the reality in the current education process of secondary vocational students, and actively thought about how to improve the current reality. We also explored the views and concepts more suitable for current students and times, created better educational and teaching activities to enhance students’perception and experience,so that students can truly enjoy the process, accumulate psychological resources and energy, and successfully complete the tasks of adolescent personality identity and development.Students can follow the self-education path of mindfulness, smile, choice, and practice, truly improve the level of mental health, and lay a solid foundation for becoming high-quality and highly-skilled talents.
