Understanding the Global Identification with China’s Stories: A Cross-Cultural Perspective

Cross-cultural storytelling is a primary way for humankind to seek mutual recognition of value orientations between cultures,which facilitates the ability to jointly address the problems of human existence in the context of globalization.In this study,we conducted an interview survey of 6,130 respondents who were college students or graduates from 107 countries.The results show that there were a number of cross-cultural values embodied in China’s stories seen by the respondents as part of a common vision for the future of humankind and widely identified guidance on collaborative responses to global challenges.These cross-cultural values are common prosperity,ecological harmony,individual-collective integration,the urgency of global peace,as well as respect for multicultural and indigenous development paths.

Research on Strategies for Enhancing the Ability of Chinese German Learners to Tell Chinese Stories Through Short Videos

In the age of new media,short videos play an increasingly important role in international cultural exchange.However,German learners often encounter challenges when producing and sharing short videos due to factors such as technology and language proficiency.Such challenges can affect the professionalism and attractiveness of the videos.This study focuses on German learners at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.The aim of this study is to investigate students’experiences in producing short videos,identify issues through surveys and interviews,and concentrate on editing skills,language proficiency,and intercultural communication abilities.It proposes strategies for developing these skills and aims to provide insights for German and other foreign language learners in telling Chinese stories using short videos.

Cultivating students'higher-order thinking is one of the important goals of modern education,and innovative teaching model is an effective way to achieve this goal.Aiming at the inadequacy of the existing moral dilemma stories approach in the transformation of knowledge and behavior,this research constructs a new Project Based Learning-Ethical Dilemma Stories(PBL-EDS)Teaching Model applicable to China's secondary education stage based on the innovative features of the moral dilemma stories approach on the core competencies,taking the chemistry subject as an example to carry out practice,and puts forward suggestions for the implementation of the teaching model.Chemistry as an example to carry out the practice,and suggestions are made for the implementation of the teaching model.

Practical Paths for Integrating“Stories of China”in the New Era into Ideological and Political Education in Universities

As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,ideological and political education in universities is presented with new opportunities.Telling the“Stories of China”is not only necessary for inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture but also an important way to build the socialist core value system and cultivate qualified builders of socialism.Effectively integrating the“Stories of China”with the ideological and political theory courses in universities is of great significance for guiding students to establish correct worldviews,outlooks on life,and values.This paper focuses on the practical paths of integrating the“Stories of China”with ideological and political theory in universities,deeply analyzes the existing integration mechanisms,principles to follow,and challenges faced,and explores innovative paths.It aims to provide a new perspective for ideological and political education in universities,promote the comprehensive development of students,and provide solid theoretical support for cultivating qualified socialist builders.

Hero Hua Mulan With a Thousand Faces:Why Chinese Stories Can Move the World?Evidence From a Global Cross-Cultural Interview Survey

While people from Western countries do not always understand of the underlying cultural values of most Chinese stories,the Hua Mulan story has gained significant recognition from Western audiences.Therefore,it would be quite beneficial if we could understand the key elements that have contributed to the success of the Hua Mulan story so that we can employ similar elements in other intercultural communication programs and promote the communication and dissemination of cultures between China and the rest of the world.According to the findings from the interviews of 6,130 respondents from 107 countries,we found that the Hua Mulan story gains global acceptance because it represents a story of“a hero with a thousand faces,”which embodies the integration of Chinese traditions and contemporary spirit through sharing a global meaning while responding to various culturally common challenges.Five key cultural value dimensions are responsible for this Chinese story’s cross-cultural affinity and influence,which helped it win recognition and empathy worldwide.The five key cultural value dimensions are loyalty and patriotism,the courage to take responsibility,compatibility of individualism and collectivism,respondence to the multicultural appeal,and hero growth.These dimensions are then generalized as the value identity orientation grounded in a Global Shared Meaning(GSM)in this study.

移动设备下全景动画的叙事特征表达研究——以Google Spotlight stories 为例

目的:当前,全球以移动流媒体的视频消费能力最强,人们不再满足于传统影视观看方式,转而寻求多样化、互动型的沉浸式观看方式,全景动画应运而生。全景动画独特的叙事特征消解了传统动画叙事结构,需要对全景动画影片的独特叙事形态进行分析,促使其在传达故事的同时强化观众的互动体验。方法:文章阐述在全景技术的差异变化下,动画叙事难度与信息密度有所增加,以及观众身份在观影时发生变化等问题。以Google Spotlight stories平台出品的动画为主要案例,分析影响全景动画影片叙事的因素,阐明如何通过全景媒介实现观众互动与讲故事之间良好的叙事融合,强化受众对故事的体验感。结果:对Duet、Pearl和Buggy Night三部全景动画进行分析,说明通过建立分化事件、镜头视角以及观众引导三方面可以协调观众互动和故事表述之间的平衡关系,并以此探讨全景动画的叙事特征。结论:基于移动终端的全景动画不仅提供了更加便捷的观看方式,还打造了有趣且具有互动性的叙事体验。全景技术打破了传统叙事结构中导演的绝对控制权,允许观众根据自身观影习惯寻找或选择故事的展开方式。在此叙事过程中,应该更注重观众的体验与故事的传达方式。

讲好中国教育故事 服务人类教育发展——专访上海师范大学张民选教授

共情传播视域下中国体育故事跨文化传播的国际认同建构

中国体育故事存在国际认同不足等困境,如何基于文化陌生感的语境建构中国体育故事跨文化传播的国际认同,是亟待思考的现实议题。该研究以共情传播为理论,指出了中国体育故事中的共情元素、共性历史、共同诉求和共通价值,为跨文化传播中建构国际认同提供了共情可能。并以国际认同的建构为导向,构建了中国体育故事跨文化传播中的共情传播模式,认为承载不同价值观、不同主题的中国体育故事,在相应的跨文化传播场域,能够经由共情传播建构国际认同。基于这一模式提出了中国体育故事跨文化传播中建构国际认同的路径:提炼中国体育故事与世界的共情元素,消解认知偏差;从平民视角和他者视角讲述中国体育故事,强化情感认同;强化中国体育交流故事传播中的聚合效应,以共识促认同。

Lu Xun(1881-1936)has been acclaimed father of modern Chinese literature.He is the first writer to use the vernacular to write fiction.His stories have laid a solid foundation for the development of modern Chinese fiction.Call to Arms(1923)and Wandering(1926)represent the greatest achievement of Chinese story-writing at that time.Since the 1920’s,Lu Xun’s stories have been translated into various languages and published throughout the world,enjoying an international reputation.The three English versions chosen are different with various features,especially in dealing with Chinese traditional culture according to different purposes and towards different English readers.

选择性忽略——关于敦煌法华经变·提婆达多品画面的几个问题

本文对敦煌石窟法华经变·提婆达多品表现释迦于过去世与提婆达多因缘的画面、“海涌菩萨赴法华会”的画面和与“龙女成佛”故事相关的画面中此前不为学界所关注的一些细节表现做了重新识读与定名;同时,通过与日本等海外所藏相关佛经插画的比较,认为二者间在画面表现上有相当大的不同。在此基础上,对敦煌提婆达多品画面特色形成的原因进行了探讨,认为主要根源在于中国佛教信众对于提婆达多角色认知的不一致性相关。

“中国好故事”数据库国际传播数字产品叙事的实证研究

以主题配额抽样方式从“中国好故事”数据库(英文版)抽取329份有效样本展开内容分析。研究发现:该数据库中国际传播数字产品的多媒体特征显著,注重借助新闻人物/消息源表达情感,以中立与正面情感为主,而国际化故事元素与交互性特征不明显;相关性分析显示,多媒体性与交互性、交互性与情感性维度间存在相关性。由此建议中国国际传播数字产品应更广泛运用国际化故事元素,增强贴近性、互鉴性与说服力;更充分运用多媒介元素,多模态讲述中国故事;加强互动叙事,增强用户黏性;通过情感性策略仪式丰富情感表达,实现共情促共鸣。

故事的起源研究

故事产生的生理基础是人脑的发达,而人脑的发展变化是人类劳动的必然结果;故事产生的行为基础是语言的产生,而语言产生的动力是人类信息交流的现实需求;故事产生的思维基础是虚构,虚构的前提是语言的丰富性与思维的形象性,不断的劳动、丰富的语言和形象的思维共同推动了故事的产生与发展。故事的产生完成了人种从动物到人的分化以及人的本质属性的形成,故事的发展促进了人类文化和文明的形成。劳动实践、人脑进化、语言形成、形象思维,是故事起源的内在基础,声音、符号、思维、想象、虚构,是故事发展的历史逻辑。人类通过劳动实现了从动物到人的进化,故事因虚构成为人与动物区别的重要标志。虚构故事的产生,促进了人类更广泛的交流,逐步形成了人最初的群体意识,成为人类共同战胜自然界各种威胁、保种生存、繁衍生息和不断发展的法宝。在故事作用不断得到彰显的历史进程中,故事适应社会生活的变化不断创新,成为推动人类历史的发展进步的重要力量,这就是故事产生和发展且具有永久魅力的秘诀所在。

基于Openstack云平台的校园二手物品交易系统的敏捷设计

通过Openstack云平台搭建服务器,利用J2EE的Struts-Spring-Hibernate(SSH)轻量级三层集成框架,采用软件敏捷方法 Scrum模型,快速设计并实现了基于Openstack云平台的校园二手物品交易系统.系统服务器端共享本地校园应用数据中心,在Openstack云平台上进行二手物品交易及管理方面的数据处理.客户端使用Android平台,为校园学生提供二手物品的查询、发布、交易、订单收藏、留言等功能.系统运行稳定,操作便捷,页面展示流畅.

冯梦龙“三言”对宋元话本的文人化改造

冯梦龙“三言”对于宋元旧话的改订大致有以下三个方面:一是题目的改订与增删,标志着文人对于通俗小说认知的突破;二是提升通俗小说的地位,意味着文人改造意识的觉醒;三是强调文学的通俗性,昭示着艺术与思想结合的新高度。在编创中,他注重题目的编排,强调人物与事件的内在联系,并利用小说题目来凸显人物性格特点。通过对宋元话本的改造,成功塑造了诸多典型形象,但这些人物塑造与故事价值却形成背离,表现为情节结构与人物关系复杂的作品,人物塑造稍显逊色;与情节小说相反,情节结构与人物关系简单,人物形象的塑造则更加立体、饱满。同时冯梦龙通过对原作的增补,注入改编或重构原作的主题与焦点,有意识地施以“情教”,利用小说的形式来灌输和推广正统的道德规范,实现了题材的拓展与主题的强化。
