Though classroom activities in children English class have been studied by many scholars, there is a lack of real class investigation and analysis on this subject. Combining the observations of classroom activities in a real children English class with the interviews with the child students and the teacher in that class, this paper presents various classroom activities used in real children English class. Among all the activities of greetings and free conversations, guessing new words, pair or group work, games, songs, chants, making stories and competition, child students prefer games, role play, making stories, and competitions, in which children can take the initiatives; while the teacher favors greetings, guessing new words, role play, and group work. The problem of the activities that children students like the most is that they may cause some disturbance in class. To solve this problem, the author thinks that these activities are better to be put at the end of the class. 展开更多

English has become the medium for communication in so many areas, and children are the hope of the future and shoulder the duties to structure the future. Children's English becomes more important and spreads all over the world, especially in recent years. Children's English is not perfect and there exist its own disadvantages. This paper gives four optimizations and suggestions in teaching children's English in order to solve the problem. Then it lists several relations to the children's English study, and these four relations are very important because they are the keys to lead the children's English to a healthy and developing road. And in the next chapter, it talks about the trends of the children's English in the future and lists the reasons why these kinds of trends appear. At last, the author overlooks the whole paper and gives a conclusion, which shows that children's English has a great potentiality in the future in China. 展开更多

中国儿童早期英语否定转移习得:基于使用的语言习得理论下的个案研究

英语否定转移是中国儿童英语习得的难点之一,目前学界研究成果数量较少,方法单一,尤其缺乏纵向个案研究,习得效果不理想。对一名随父母在澳大利亚生活并在当地就读小学的中国儿童A进行时长13个月的纵向追踪,建立语料库分6个阶段进行研... 英语否定转移是中国儿童英语习得的难点之一,目前学界研究成果数量较少,方法单一,尤其缺乏纵向个案研究,习得效果不理想。对一名随父母在澳大利亚生活并在当地就读小学的中国儿童A进行时长13个月的纵向追踪,建立语料库分6个阶段进行研究。结果显示,中国儿童的英语否定转移习得以高频典型范例为基础逐渐扩张,儿童二语习得遵循基于高频典型范例的习得机制。中国儿童在早期英语否定转移中出现习得错误,源于一种“固化、杂糅、连带固化机制”,在语言习得过程中,频率会带来固化效应从而有利于语言的习得,但高频率的构式也有可能与相关构式产生杂糅并引起习得错误,习得错误通过连带固化效应进一步在竞争中占据优势,最终产生顽固错误。中国儿童二语习得,一是要利用高频典型范例的锚定作用促进儿童语言习得,二是要警惕高频典型范例与相关构式的杂糅而产生的习得错误,三是要对习得错误及时干预从而避免连带固化现象。 展开更多

随着各种智能终端的普及,APP的应用也越来越为广泛,其中教育类的APP,尤其是英语听说APP,产品层出不穷。该文从梅耶的多媒体学习理论出发,对目前市场上的学龄前儿童英语听说APP进行分析,评测其是否符合多媒体学习原则。研究发现,目前的... 随着各种智能终端的普及,APP的应用也越来越为广泛,其中教育类的APP,尤其是英语听说APP,产品层出不穷。该文从梅耶的多媒体学习理论出发,对目前市场上的学龄前儿童英语听说APP进行分析,评测其是否符合多媒体学习原则。研究发现,目前的学龄前儿童英语听说APP在多媒体原则、通道原则、空间接近原则、时间接近原则、声音原则、冗余原则、图像原则这7个原则体现得较好;而在一致性原则、强调原则、分割原则、预训练原则、拟人化原则和对话式原则等6个原则方面较为欠缺。研究还发现,针对于学龄前儿童英语听说APP,分割原则和预训练原则的要求可以有所降低。最后,该文结合梅耶的多媒体学习理论以及对APP的内容分析,提出了英语多媒体学习资源的设计框架。 展开更多

我国城市大多数家长重视孩子在幼儿阶段的英语学习,但由于公立幼儿园基本不开设英语课程,大部分家长只能选择社会幼儿英语培训机构作为孩子英语学习的场所,幼儿英语教育存在的问题——幼儿英语培训准入门槛低、教师队伍不稳定、教材欠... 我国城市大多数家长重视孩子在幼儿阶段的英语学习,但由于公立幼儿园基本不开设英语课程,大部分家长只能选择社会幼儿英语培训机构作为孩子英语学习的场所,幼儿英语教育存在的问题——幼儿英语培训准入门槛低、教师队伍不稳定、教材欠系统化等——越发突显。因此,建议一方面政府教育部门应加强对幼儿英语教育的管理和指导,在有条件的幼儿园进行幼儿英语教学实验;另一方面高校应开设学前幼儿英语教育专业,构建稳定合理的师资队伍。 展开更多

本研究选取3-5岁儿童为被试,从语音单位和操作水平两个维度研究幼儿期汉语语音意识和英语语音意识的发展。在汉语语音意识的发展上,音节意识先于押韵、首音和声调意识而发展起来,3岁儿童已经具备了一定的音节意识,并在3岁到4岁之间迅速... 本研究选取3-5岁儿童为被试,从语音单位和操作水平两个维度研究幼儿期汉语语音意识和英语语音意识的发展。在汉语语音意识的发展上,音节意识先于押韵、首音和声调意识而发展起来,3岁儿童已经具备了一定的音节意识,并在3岁到4岁之间迅速发展。在英语语音意识的发展上,幼儿期的音节意识和末位音位意识先于押韵与首音意识而发展起来,从3到5岁表现出清晰的发展次序。首音意识在幼儿期没有发展。从任务的操作水平看,无论是汉语还是英语语音意识,幼儿在辨别任务上的成绩显著低于分析和综合任务。 展开更多
