Cyclic metallurgical process for separation and recovery of Cr from vanadium precipitated solution by precipitation with PbCO_(3)and leaching with Na_(2)CO_(3)was investigated.The concentration of Cr residue in the so...Cyclic metallurgical process for separation and recovery of Cr from vanadium precipitated solution by precipitation with PbCO_(3)and leaching with Na_(2)CO_(3)was investigated.The concentration of Cr residue in the solution decreases from 2.360 to 0.001 g/L by adding PbCO_(3)into vanadium precipitated solution according to Pb/Cr molar ratio of 2.5,adjusting the pH to 3.0 and stirring for 180 min at 30℃.Then,the precipitates were leached with hot Na_(2)CO_(3)solution to obtain leaching solution containing Na_(2)CrO_(4)and leaching residue containing PbCO_(3).The leaching efficiency of Cr reaches 96.43%by adding the precipitates into 0.5 mol/L Na_(2)CO_(3)solution with the mass ratio of liquid to solid(L/S)of 10:1 mL/g and stirring for 60 min under pH 9.5 at 70℃.After filtration,leaching residue is reused in Cr precipitation and leaching solution is used to circularly leach the Cr precipitates until Na_(2)CrO_(4)approaches the saturation.Finally,the product of Na_(2)CrO_(4)·4H_(2)O is obtained by evaporation and crystallization of leaching solution.展开更多
The precipitation kinetics of secondary phases in two austeno-ferritic lean duplex stainless steels(lean DSS)were examined after aging the materials at 800 ℃.Owing to the instability of ferrite,all DSS are known to...The precipitation kinetics of secondary phases in two austeno-ferritic lean duplex stainless steels(lean DSS)were examined after aging the materials at 800 ℃.Owing to the instability of ferrite,all DSS are known to be sensitive to solid-state phase transformations in the critical temperature range 600-1,000 ℃ and different secondary phases may form,depending on composition and microstructure.The performed thermodynamic simulations revealed the proneness to the precipitation of such phases also have been done in lean DSS,but only information on the equilibrium microstructures were achieved.Therefore,the materials were aged at various times,in order to verify the simulations and determine the precipitation kinetics.The occurred structural modifications were observed and quantified by scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction measurements,determining phase type,composition and volumetric fraction.At 800 ℃,grade 2101 was found to be only affected by Cr_2N nitrides precipitation,whereas a significant amount of σ-phase was found to form in LDX 2404 for treatment longer than 1 h,almost totally replacing ferrite after 50 h.Up to now,the intermetallic σ-phase has been observed only in the high alloyed DSS,and the unexpected precipitation in grade 2404 highlighted that the increased content of molybdenum in this steel might be considered as determinant for the formation.展开更多
The microstructure and wear behavior of Fe-Cr-V-B based alloy was investigated.Each of the specimens was characterized by metallographic techniques and hardness test.Phase analysis of alloy was performed by X-ray diff...The microstructure and wear behavior of Fe-Cr-V-B based alloy was investigated.Each of the specimens was characterized by metallographic techniques and hardness test.Phase analysis of alloy was performed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).The results showed that the microstructure of Fe-Cr-V-B based as-cast alloy containing 8.6mass% V was composed ofα-(Fe,Cr)solid solution,VC carbides,and V_3B_4 borides,whereas the as-cast alloy containing 24.8mass% Cr was composed ofα-(Fe,Cr)solid solution and V_3B_4borides;the eutectic V_3B_4 borides mainly comprise M2B-type borides(M presents Fe and Cr).The existence of a large amount of V atoms affects the growth pattern of eutectic borides,which mainly display rod-like and grainy structure.The wear behavior of the experimental alloy has been investigated using pin-on-disk type friction and wear apparatus.The comparison of experimental results indicated that the relative wear resistance of the alloy containing 8.6mass% V after destabilization heat treatment in a conventional furnace at 1 373 K for 2hwas about six times higher than that of the high chromium(19mass%)cast iron.展开更多
