Using Plan-Do-Check-Act Circulation to Improve the Management of Panic Value in the Hospital

The concept ＂panic value＂ （or critical value） was first brought tip by American scholar Lundberg in 1972. It refers to the results of auxiliary examinations that are widely deviating from normal or anticipated results. The occurrence of these abnomaal results shows that patients could be in a dangerous situation that their lives might be threatened. If clinicians are able to get the information in time and provide the patients with effective interventions or treatments promptly, lives could be saved. Otherwise, there could be serious consequences and the best opportunities for rescuing the patients might be missing The management of panic value is an important component of medical quality management, as the National Health and Family Planning Commission has clearly defined in the ＂patient safety goals＂ for several consecutive years. In countries such as America, Australia as well as Gennany, the management of panic value has also been greatly emphasized and was been included in various hospital assessments.

Theoretical Logic and Empirical Facts of Consumption Structure Upgrade and Domestic Value Chain Circulation under the New Development Pattern

Under the new development pattern,this paper explores the characteristic tendencies and intergenerational changes of consumption structure upgrade(CSU)as well as the theoretical logic and empirical paradigm affecting the domestic value chain circulation.This paper constructs a region-industry decomposition framework for domestic value chain circulation based on backward demand to explore the impact of CSU on domestic value chain circulation.The results show that:first,CSU can optimize the structure of domestic value chain circulation and strengthen inter-regional value chain linkage;second,CSU promotes domestic value chain circulation through innovation drive,resource optimization and industrial coupling;finally,the domestic value chain circulation effect caused by CSU may be constrained by market segmentation,and accelerating regional economic integration across a country can help build up the main position of domestic value chain.

Value Circulation,Economic Structure,and the New Development Paradigm:A Theoretical Framework of Political Economy and International Comparison

This study constructs a theoretical framework for understanding the new development paradigm based on value circulation and the reproduction theory of Marx.According to these theories,the essence of economic circulation is value circulation,the core of which is mutual matching among the structures of technological,distribution,demand,and production.We adopted a three-sector reproduction model with fixed capital to understand different development paradigms under various combinations of the four aforementioned structures.On this basis,we use the 1957-2017 input-output table to construct the three-sector tables and explain the logic of China’s economic structure change and the characteristics of the resulting circulation patterns.We also compared the economic structures and circulation patterns of the United States and Japan with those of China to shed light on China’s choice of future economic circulation patterns and the new development paradigms.
