X-ray diffraction studies established the structu...A novel biferocene trinuclear complex for Schiff base ligand S-methyl-N- (ferrocenyl-1-methyl -methylidene) dithiocarbazate thereafter abbreviated as HL) is described. X-ray diffraction studies established the structure of the palladium complex, PdL2. The geometry of Pd (II) in the complex is close to square planar and in novel cis-configuration with two ferrocene moieties on the same side. Degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) measurements show that the complex exhibit obvious nonlinear optical response.展开更多
The optical fiber with pure quartz core and Fluorine-doped glass cladding was made by POD (plasma outside deposition) technique in some corporations, while we used the creative technique of “overcladding F-doped tube...The optical fiber with pure quartz core and Fluorine-doped glass cladding was made by POD (plasma outside deposition) technique in some corporations, while we used the creative technique of “overcladding F-doped tube onto quartz rod in high temperature” to make the optical fiber which has the same structure as that from POD, in order to research and compare the influence factors on the loss of the fiber, our research work includes contrast experiments on coating polymers with different refractive index and the concentricity error of the fiber core and cladding. The measurement results show us that there are great differences in the loss spectra between the different fiber samples. We made analysis of it.展开更多
An array of natural products bearing chiral peroxide motifs display antitumor,anticancer,and antiparasitic activities.However,there are very few catalytic asymmetric syntheses of chiral peroxides.Moreover,effective ca...An array of natural products bearing chiral peroxide motifs display antitumor,anticancer,and antiparasitic activities.However,there are very few catalytic asymmetric syntheses of chiral peroxides.Moreover,effective catalysts for asymmetric catalytic peroxidations are limited to chiral amines.To further expand synthetic access to chiral peroxides,the development of new catalysts realizing catalytic asymmetric peroxidation is highly desirable yet challenging.We report here a catalytic asymmetric peroxidation of anα,β-unsaturated triflone-kinetic resolution cascade reaction,which furnishes chiral peroxides in greater than 99.9%ee.The realization of this cascade reaction resulted from the development of two betaines as novel catalysts for chiral peroxide synthesis;one betaine promoted enantioselective peroxidation ofα,β-unsaturated triflones via conjugate addition affording peroxides in 80-92%ee,while the other betaine catalyzed kinetic resolution of the newly generated chiral peroxides to further increase the ee to greater than 99.9%.展开更多

Comparison between two approaches is made. In this paper, with the technology of vacuum sputter, pure aluminum corrosion sensitive film was directly deposited on the core of optical fiber with its clad removed.Metallographic microscope and scanning electron mi...In this paper, with the technology of vacuum sputter, pure aluminum corrosion sensitive film was directly deposited on the core of optical fiber with its clad removed.Metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to analyze the structure of the film.The thickness of the pure aluminum corrosion sensitive film was about 14.65 μm, and the film was distributed evenly and firmly bonded with the fiber core.Galvanostatic step and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to evaluate the corrosion resistance in NaCl solution with different concentrations (0.001—0.1 mol·L -1).The result showed that the corrosion resistance of the aluminum film was similar to that of industrial pure aluminum in NaCl solution with the concentration less than 0.1 mol·L -1.But the EIS data showed that there were holes on the film surface.展开更多
