To effectively predict the mechanical dispatch reliability(MDR),the artificial neural networks method combined with aircraft operation health status parameters is proposed,which introduces the real civil aircraft oper...To effectively predict the mechanical dispatch reliability(MDR),the artificial neural networks method combined with aircraft operation health status parameters is proposed,which introduces the real civil aircraft operation data for verification,to improve the modeling precision and computing efficiency.Grey relational analysis can identify the degree of correlation between aircraft system health status(such as the unscheduled maintenance event,unit report event,and services number)and dispatch release and screen out themost closely related systems to determine the set of input parameters required for the prediction model.The artificial neural network using radial basis function(RBF)as a kernel function,has the best applicability in the prediction of multidimensional,small sample problems.Health status parameters of related systems are used as the input to predict the changing trend ofMDR,under the artificial neural network modeling framework.The case study collects real operation data for a certain civil aircraft over the past five years to validate the performance of the model which meets the requirements of the application.The results show that the prediction quadratic error Ep of the model reaches 6.9×10−8.That is to say,in the existing operating environment,the prediction of the number of delay&cancel events per month can be less than once.The accuracy of RBF ANN,BP ANN and GA-BP ANN are compared further,and the results show that RBF ANN has better adaptability to such multidimensional small sample problems.The efforts of this paper provide a highly efficientmethod for theMDR prediction through aircraft system health state parameters,which is a promising model to enhance the prediction and controllability of the dispatch release,providing support for the construction of the civil aircraft operation system.展开更多
The rapid development of concepts and technologies for civil aircraft navigation systems has put forward higher requirements for agile iteration and integrated design verification in the research and development(R&...The rapid development of concepts and technologies for civil aircraft navigation systems has put forward higher requirements for agile iteration and integrated design verification in the research and development(R&D)process.Traditional document based system engineering(DBSE)methods have gradually become inadequate.Model based system engineering(MBSE)is fully based on user′s needs and is carried out from top to bottom,in line with the concept of forward design.It is gradually being applied in the development of civil aircraft systems.This article focuses on the civil aircraft radio navigation system and proposes a complete system engineering solution based on models,from system design and development to validation.Guided by the Arcadia methodology,with Capella modeling tool,Simulink simulation tool,and system validation tool,the complete R&D process from design and development to testing and validation was achieved through model construction,code generation,and testing validation.A radio navigation station selection optimization method based on machine learning was proposed,and results had good signal quality and persistence.The verification result of Beijing⁃Shanghai flight route shows MBSE method practiced in this article can ensure the feasibility of the entire process of radio navigation system development,as well as the rationality of tuning and positioning result.By automatically generating code to form a universal functional module,an optimization method that integrates different radio navigation station selection strategies is achieved,providing new ideas for the development and design of radio navigation systems.展开更多

This new integrated networks architecture consists of LEO satellites and civil aircrafts carrying aerial base stations, called "civil aircraft assisted SAGIN(CAA-SAGIN)". The assistance of civil aircrafts can reduce the stress of satellite networks, improve the performance of SAGIN, decrease the construction cost and save space resources. Taking the Chinese mainland as an example, this paper has analyzed the distribution of civil aircrafts, and obtained the coverage characteristics of civil aircraft assisted networks(CAAN). Taking Starlink as the benchmark, this paper has calculated the service gap of CAAN, and designed the joint coverage constellation. The simulation results prove that the number of satellites in CAASAGIN can be greatly reduced with the assistance of civil aircrafts at the same data rate.展开更多

Bleed air system is one of the most important components of air management system(AMS).It acts as transfer pipes responsible for air supply at high temperature and pressure.The thermal and flow performance of the blee...Bleed air system is one of the most important components of air management system(AMS).It acts as transfer pipes responsible for air supply at high temperature and pressure.The thermal and flow performance of the bleed air system is a key issue for the design of AMS since the characteristics of air source have a great influence on the anti-ice system,the environmental control system and other downstream system in need of high temperature pressurized air.Based on the one-dimensional lumped parameter technology,a computer analysis model of bleed air system is developed in order to analyze the thermal and flow behaviors of the nodal points in the pipeline network.The simulation are performed with a given flight assignment using the analysis model,and the results verify that the system meets the design requirements.展开更多
The optimization of inspection intervals for composite structures has been proposed,but only one damage type,dent damage,has been addressed so far.The present study focuses on the two main damage types of dent and del...The optimization of inspection intervals for composite structures has been proposed,but only one damage type,dent damage,has been addressed so far.The present study focuses on the two main damage types of dent and delamination,and a model for optimizing the inspection interval of composite structures is proposed to minimize the total maintenance cost on the premise that the probability of structure failure will not exceed the acceptable level.In order to analyze the damage characteristics and the residual strength of the composite structure,the frequency,energy,size,and depth of the damage are studied,and the situation of missing detection during the inspection is considered.The structural residual strength and total maintenance cost are quantified corresponding to different inspection intervals.The proposed optimization method relieves the constraints in previous simulation methods,and is more consistent with the actual situation.Finally,the outer wing of aircraft is taken as an example,and with the historical cases and experimental data,the optimization method is verified.The optimal inspection interval is shorter than the actually implemented inspection interval,and the corresponding maintenance cost is reduced by 23.3%.The result shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed optimization method.展开更多
