The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)surface reflectance data were used to analyze the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of water clarity(Z_(sd))in the Jiaozhou Bay,Qingdao,China,in ...The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)surface reflectance data were used to analyze the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of water clarity(Z_(sd))in the Jiaozhou Bay,Qingdao,China,in the Yellow Sea from 2000 to 2018.Z_(sd)retrieval models were regionally optimized using in-situ data with coincident MODIS images,and then were used to retrieve the Z_(sd) products in Jiaozhou Bay from 2000-2018.The analysis of the Z_(sd) results suggests that the spatial distribution of relative Z_(sd) spatial characteristics in Jiaozhou Bay was stable,being higher Z_(sd) in the southeast and a lower Z_(sd) in the northwest.The annual mean Z_(sd) in Jiaozhou Bay showed a significant upward trend,with an annual increase of approximately 0.02 m.Water depth and wind speed were important factors affecting the spatial distribution and annual variation of Z_(sd) in Jiaozhou Bay,respectively.展开更多
In any closed environment considered,it can be seen that the acoustic parameters are inherently not constant over the entire area considered.In a closed environment,it is ideally preferred to maintain the acoustic par...In any closed environment considered,it can be seen that the acoustic parameters are inherently not constant over the entire area considered.In a closed environment,it is ideally preferred to maintain the acoustic parameters as constant so that there exists better quality of sound leading to better auditory perception with respect to the audience.Practically,some of the acoustic parameters like reverberation time and clarity do not strictly pertain to the pattern obtained theoretically.In this paper,simulations are carried out using I-SIMPA under different values of Sound Transmission Class(STC),source position,distribution and the chamber dimensions and provides an insight into the behaviour of these acoustic parameters and the appropriate values that have to be infused into the system to build the chamber.The acoustic environment is modelled keeping an actual closed room in mind and testing is done with respect to different values of surface absorption coefficients(practically indicated using Sound Transmission Class)and dimensions to determine ideal conditions.展开更多

It is important for the user to know the clarity of the revealed secret image corresponding to different contrast values. In this paper, the clarity corresponding to contrast is investigated through conducting subjective evaluation scores and objective evaluation indexes, which can be extended to general applications.展开更多
Since the end of the Cold War,the United States has turned out to be the sole world superpower and possessed the unmatched power,and its international status and security situation reached the best period in its histo...Since the end of the Cold War,the United States has turned out to be the sole world superpower and possessed the unmatched power,and its international status and security situation reached the best period in its history.Although the U.S.power has declined relatively,its advantages have not changed substantially.The advantages of the U.S.power determine the essence of the U.S.global strategy,and since the end of the Cold War remains almost intact,which is committed to maintenance of the U.S.hegemony,including 3 core goals:maintaining security,expanding economy and promoting democracy.Since the end of the Cold War,all U.S.presidents have adhered to this hegemonic strategy while making some major adjustments,with some changing expressions and the priorities of the strategic goals.It should be pointed out that there is an important and possibly dangerous trend in the adjustments,,which is the gradual disappearance of strategic flexibility and strategic ambiguity.In other words,these global strategic adjustments after the Cold War have been increasingly focusing on China and the Asia-Pacific region.This trend is likely to continue in the second term of President Obama and will affect the development of China-U.S.relations to a large extent.展开更多
