The New General System theory was developed to be a theory of everything for complex systems within the world we can observe. This theory was constructed by supplementing a new mind-ether ontology into Bertalanffy’s general system theory framework. This theory is basically a generalization of classical mechanics rather than a revolution to it taken both by Einstein and Bohr in developing their relativity theory and quantum mechanics. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the reasons why Einstein and many others fail to unify relativity theory with quantum mechanics through comparing the main differences in philosophical opinions among NGST,Einstein, and Bohr.It is the hope of the authors that this clarification could speed up the unification process. 展开更多

An experimental setup is built to verify this theory. The observed experimental phenomena are consistent with the theoretical analysis. We perform phase retardation measurements of birefringent components using this experimental system. It is shown that Mercury's motion of the perihelion around the Sun, which is believed to be explicable quantitatively only by general relativity, can be fully understood within the frame of the dynamics of special relativity. It is only necessary to take into consideration the relativistic dependence of the planet's inertial and gravitational masses on its velocity (relative to the Sun) in the conservation equations for energy, and linear and angular momenta in the gravitational field. The physical Problem is reduced to a singular, nonlinear differential equation, which is solved numerically for the planet Mercury. The advance of the perihelion of Mercury is shown to be = 42.087' for a period of 100 years, which is in agreement with the as- tronomical observations and the result (by analytical approximations) of general relativity. 展开更多

A systematic method is developed to studY the classical motion of a mass point in gravitational gauge field. First, by using Mathematica, a spherical symmetric solution of the field equation of gravitational gauge field is obtained, which is just the traditional Schwarzschild solution. Combining the principle of gauge covariance and Newton's second law of motion, the equation of motion of a mass point in gravitational field is deduced. Based on the spherical symmetric solution of the field equation and the equation of motion of a mass point in gravitational field, we can discuss classical tests of gauge theory of gravity, including the deflection of light by the sun, the precession of the perihelia of the orbits of the inner planets and the time delay of radar echoes passing the sun. It is found that the theoretical predictions of these classical tests given by gauge theory of gravity are completely the same as those given by general relativity. 展开更多

The starting point of the theory is the Maxwell equations which are directly tied to the Riemann-Christoffel curvature tensor. This is done through the derivatives of the Maxwell tensor which are equated to a vector field ?contracted with the curvature tensor, i.e., . The electromagnetic portion of the theory is shown to be equivalent to the classical Maxwell equations with the addition of a hidden variable. Because the proposed equations describing electromagnetism and gravity differ from the classical Maxwell-Einstein equations, their ability to describe classical physics is shown for several situations by direct calculation. The inclusion of antimatter and its behavior in a gravitational field, and the possibility of particle-like solutions exhibiting quantized charge, mass and angular momentum are discussed. 展开更多

It is currently believed that light quantum or the quantization of light energy is beyond classical physics, and the picture of wave-particle duality, which was criticized by Einstein but has attracted a number of experimental researches, is necessary for the description of light. It is shown in this paper, however, that the quantization of light energy in vacuum, which is the same as that in quantum electrodynamics, can be derived directly from the classical electromagnetic theory through the consideration of statistics based on classical physics. Therefore, the quantization of energy is an intrinsic property of light as a classical electromagnetic wave and has no need of being related to particles. 展开更多

It is well-known that philosophical conflicts exist among classical mechanics, quantum mechanics and relativistic mechanics. In order to use the framework of general system theory to unify these three mechanics subjects,a new general system theory is developed based on a new ontology of ether and minds as the fundamental existences in the world. The two-body problem is the simplest model in mechanics and in this paper,it is re-examined by using our new general system theory. It is found that the current description of the classical full two-body problem is inappropriate since the observer and the measurement apparatus have not been explicitly considered. After considering these,it is actually a three-body problem while only the special case of the Kepler problem is the two-body problem.By introducing the concepts of psychic force and psychic field, all the possible movement states in the two-body problem can be explained within the framework of classical mechanics. There is no need to change the meanings of many fundamental concepts, such as time, space, matter, mass, and energy as done in quantum mechanics and relativity theory. This points out a new direction for the unification of different theories. 展开更多

It is challenging to assess the mechanism responsible for the nucleation of inclusions in metals at high temperatures. The present work therefore systematically investigates the nucleation of cerium oxide inclusions according to classical nucleation theory and a two-step nucleation mechanism. The nucleation rates and nucleation radii of these inclusions are obtained, and the results demonstrate a considerable difference between theoretical and experimental values. On the basis of a two-step nucleation mechanism,(CeO_(2))_(n) and(Ce_(2)O_(3))_(n)(n=1-6)clusters were constructed and the thermodynamic properties of both these clusters and of cerium oxide nanoparticles were analyzed. In addition, the entropies and heat capacity changes of cerium oxides were determined using first principles calculations and are found to be consistent with literature data. The present data indicate that the cerium oxide inclusion nucleation pathway can be summarized as[Ce]+[O]→(CeO_(2))n/(Ce_(2)O_(3))_(n)→(Ce_(2)O_(3))_(n)→(Ce_(2)O_(3))_(2)→core(Ce_(2)O_(3)crystal)-shell((Ce_(2)O_(3))_(2) cluster)nanoparticles→(Ce_(2)O_(3))bulk. 展开更多

The dynamic responses and generated voltage in a curved sandwich beam with glass reinforced laminate(GRL)layers and a pliable core in the presence of a piezoelectric layer under low-velocity impact(LVI)are investigated. The current study aims to carry out a dynamic analysis on the sandwich beam when the impactor hits the top face sheet with an initial velocity. For the layer analysis, the high-order shear deformation theory(HSDT)and Frostig's second model for the displacement fields of the core layer are used. The classical non-adhesive elastic contact theory and Hunter's principle are used to calculate the dynamic responses in terms of time.In order to validate the analytical method, the outcomes of the current investigation are compared with those gained by the experimental tests carried out by other researchers for a rectangular composite plate subject to the LVI.Finite element(FE)simulations are conducted by means of the ABAQUS software. The effects of the parameters such as foam modulus, layer material, fiber angle, impactor mass, and its velocity on the generated voltage are reviewed. 展开更多

The studies of the PQL are based on propagation of Paraquantum logical states ψ in a representative Lattice of four vertices. Based in interpretations that consider resulting information of measurements in physical systems are found paraquantum equations for computation of the physical quantities in real physical systems. In the first part of this work we presented a study of Relativity theory which involved the time and the space with their characteristics as degrees of evidence applied in Paraquantum Logical Model. Now, in this second Part we present a study of application of the PQL in resolution of phenomena of physical systems that involve concepts of the Relativity Theory and the correlation of these effects with the Newtonian Universe and Quantum Mechanics. Considering physical fundamental quantities varying periodically in amplitude, we introduce the paraquantum equations which consider frequency in the analysis. From of these mathematical relationships obtained in the PQL Lattice some main physical constants related to the studies of De Broglie appeared. With the equations of Energy obtained through the analyses is demonstrated that the Paraquantum Logic is capable to correlate values and to unify the several study areas of the Physical Science. 展开更多

In this paper, we study the principle of equal probability (i.e., unless we have sufficient reason to regard one possible case as more probable than another, we treat them as equally probable) in measurement theory (i.e., the theory of quantum mechanical world view), which is characterized as the linguistic turn of quantum mechanics with the Copenhagen interpretation. This turn from physics to language does not only realize theremarkable extensionof quantum mechanicsbut alsoestablish the method of science. Our study will be executed in the easy example of the Monty Hall problem. Although our argument is simple, we believe that it is worth pointing out the fact that the principle of equal probability can be, for the first time, clarified in measurement theory (based on the dualism) and not the conventional statistics (based on Kolmogorov’s probability theory). 展开更多

The effect of nonzero extent of an electric charge is considered within the assumption that the structure of the charge at rest is spherically-symmetric and the current vector is linear in the acceleration. An exact expression for the electromagnetic field of the charge is obtained, which depends on the specific form of the charge distribution. We have developed the approximations which deal with the charge distribution through its low-order moments, for the case in which the particle velocity does not considerably change over the time it covers a distance of the order of its own size. We have also rigorously justified the Lorentz-Abraham-Dirac expression for the radiation friction (we have identified a more general context for this expression as well as its applicability domain). We have also studied the radiation field and demonstrated that in some cases, the radiation virtually vanishes even for large accelerations. Ways of further development of the theory have been pointed out, in order to include more general forms of the current vector (dependence of the deformation of the charge structure on the acceleration, rotation of the structure around the centre of the charge, ultrarelativistic regimes). 展开更多

The different roles and natures of spacetime appearing in a quantum field theory and in classical physics are analyzed implying that a quantum theory of gravitation is not necessarily a quantum theory of curved spacetime. Developing an alternative approach to quantum gravity starts with the postulate that inertial energy-momentum and gravitational energy-momentum need not be the same for virtual quantum states. Separating their roles naturally leads to the quantum gauge field theory of volume-preserving diffeomorphisms of an inner four-dimensional space. The classical limit of this theory coupled to a quantized scalar field is derived for an on-shell particle where inertial energy-momentum and gravitational energy-momentum coincide. In that process the symmetry under volume-preserving diffeomorphisms disappears and a new symmetry group emerges: the group of coordinate transformations of four-dimensional spacetime and with it General Relativity coupled to a classical relativistic point particle. 展开更多

Trajectory prediction for the movement of a given object is one of the main tasks for the classical mechanics but in orthodox quantum mechanics, this task was announced to be an impossibility for the(sub-)atomic particles by famous Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.Of course, such an epistemology is against the philosophical beliefs of many scientists and currently another version of trajectory quantum mechanics known as Bohmian mechanics also exists. In order to unify the conflicts among classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and relativity theory,a new general system theory(NGST)was proposed by the present author and his colleagues. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that it is not the scale that matters but the living nature whether the object is lifeless or living.By using the psychic force concept introduced in NGST,Newton’s second law is applied to analyze five different types of objects. They are a stone,a coin,a cat,a person, and an electron. It is found that the classical mechanics has provided adequate room to explain the various newly observed phenomena for orthodox quantum mechanics and relativity theory and for human beings various parapsychological phenomena can also be explained by classical mechanics. Therefore,it is concluded that generalization of classical mechanics is adequate and no need to develop revolutionary quantum mechanics and relativity theory. 展开更多

In ths paper. a new nonlinear formulation of plates. including shear and rotatory inertia and transverse normal stress effects, is developed by means of general assumptions, of which the von Karman-type formulation and some thick plate theories are special cases. To keep the formulation fairly general, the problem addressed in this paper simultaneously includes: the effects of shear deformation according to the geometric deformation similarity of the crosssection, the rotatory inertia, and the transverse normal stress. The three-dimensional compatible equations are applied to derive the basic equations. Numerical results are given for linear and non-linear analysis of plates. 展开更多

According to the classical mechanics the energy of a celestial body circulating in the solar system is a constant term. This energy is defined by the masses product of the larger and smaller body entering into a mutual attraction as well as the size of the major semiaxis characteristic for the corresponding Kepler orbit. A special situation concerns the planet interaction with the Sun because of a systematic decrease of the Sun mass due to the luminosity effect. The aim of the paper is to point out that even in the case of perfectly constant interacting masses the energy of the moving body should decrease when a quantum treatment of the body motion is considered. The rate of the energy decrease is extremely small, nevertheless it gives a shortening of the distance between the interacting bodies leading to a final effect of a touch of the larger body and a smaller one. 展开更多
