Clinical Observation on Treatment of 78 Patients of B-Thalassemla with Bushen Ylsul (补肾益髓) Method and Study on Its Molecular Mechanism

Objective: To study the treatment of B-Thalas-semia (ThE) with Chinese herbal medicine for Bushen Yisui (BSYS), its theoretical base and molecular mechanism. Methods: Seventy-eight patients with ThE were treated with BSYS recipe (consisted of 11 Chinese herbal drugs as Dogwood fruit, Fleeceflower root, prepared Rehmannia root and turtle shell, etc.) orally taken, 3 times per day, 10 g/time, 3 months as one therapeutic course. Hemoglobin (Hb), red blood cell (RBC), reticulocyte (Ret) and hemoglobin F (HbF) were checked every month. At the same time, PAGE, PVR, PCR-SSCP, RT-PCR, DNA series analysis, mRNA gene expression analysis techniques were used to conduct the systematic gene analysis in patients to study the molecular mechanism of TCM treatment from aspects of gene mutation, gene expression and control-regulation. Clinical Observation on Influence of Chinese Medicines for Promoting Blood Circulation to Remove Blood Stasis on FIB and DD in Plasma of Patients with Cerebral Thrombosis

to study the influence of Chinese medicines for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis on fibrinogen(FIB)and D-dimer(DD)in plasma of patients with cerebral thrombosis. Method:73 inpatients with acute cerebral thrombosis were randomly divided into a control group of 34 cases and a treatment group of 39 cases.The content of FIB and DD in plasma was detected before treatment and on the 7th and 14th days after treatment.Result:FIB content in plasma after treatment was lower than that before treatment in the control group(P<0.01)and more remarkable in the treatment group(P<0.001).There was an obvious difference in DD content before and after treatment in both groups.DD content on the 7th and 14th days after treatment in the treatment group was obviously higher than that in the control group(P<0.01 and P<0.05 respectively). Conclusion:Chinese medicines for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis can reduce the FIB content in plasma of patients with cerebral thrombosis,raise the DD content in plasma, cause the peak of DD content appear earlier and obviously improve hypercoagulability of blood in patients with cerebral thrombosis.

Clinical Observation on Effect of Xuesaitong Injection (血塞通注射液) as Auxiliary Treatment of Severe Craniocerebral Injury

Objective To evaluate the effect of Xuesai-tong injection (XSTI, 血塞通注射液 , a preparation of Panax Notoginseng) as auxilliary treatment of severe craniocerebral injury. Methods Eighty-seven patients with severe craniocerebral injury were selected and randomly divided into the treated group (n=44) and the control group (n = 43), they were treated with conventional treatment, and XSTI was given additionally to the treated group. Intracranial pressure (ICP) and Glasgow coma score (GCS) of all patients were measuredafter 1 or 2-week treatment, and Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) of them was determined 3 months later. Then the therapeutic effect in the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the ICP was lower, GCS higher and GOS better in the treated group than those in the control group significantly, all showing statistical significance (P<0.05). Clinical Observation on Effect of Combination of Zhuanyindan (转阴丹) and Hormone in Treating MaleInfertility with Positive Antisperm Antibody

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of combination of Zhuanyindan (ZYD, 转阴丹, a self-made Chinese herbal preparation) and hormone in treating male infertility with positive antisperm antibody and its influence on nitric oxide (NO) level. Methods:Eighty-two patients were randomly divided (according to the digital list) into the WM group (n = 20, treated with prednisone), the TCM group (n=28, treated with ZYD) and the ICWM group (n=34, treated with prednisone plus ZYD). The clinical effect, negative converting rate of antisperm antibody, changes of NO level in semen and various parameters of sperm motion before and after treatment were observed. Results: The total effective rate in the ICWM group was 88.2%, that in theTCM group 75. 0% and in the WM group 65. 0%. Significant difference was seen in the ICWM and TCM group before and after treatment in NO level, sperm motion parameters, including linear motion speed, linearity, propulsion, whip frequency, sperm vitality and mean moving angle, and quality of semen ( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). In the WM group, significant difference in comparison before and after treatment was seen in NO level, propulsion, whip frequency, mean moving angle and quality of semen, including vitality and survival rate (P<0. 01). Clinical Observation on the Common Acne Treated with the Five,ioint Therapy of the Traditional Medicine

Objective： The curative effect of the common acne treated by the five-joint therapy of traditional Chinese medicine was observed. Methods： 360 cases with the common acne were treated using five methods （embedding acupuncture point into traditional Chinese medicine soaked catgut; traditional Chinese medicine facial mask; taking traditional Chinese medicine orally; auricular point stimulation; discerning and cupping therapy） for 4-8 weeks, and then the improvements of the patients in clinical skin lesion were observed and also compared using the historical control method and the treatment method in the literature history. Results： The total effective rate was I00%, the cure rate was 56.39%, and the efficiency was 30.56%. Conclusion： The curative effect of the common ache treated by the five-joint therapy of traditional Chinese medicine is significant and also obviously better than that of the control method in this paper. the quality of life seriously,and even lead to more servere complications.On the base of the well-controlled blood glucose,improving the symptoms of both lower limbs timely will has positive significance for enhancing the life quality of patients and preventing complications of limbs.This article makes a comprehensive study on the application of self-made water-washing footbath in the treatment of DPN by Chinese medicine fumigation.From March 2018 to April 2018 in our hospital 20 cases of DPN patients were collected and they were divided into observation group(treated by self-made water-washing footbath with herbs)and control group(treated by conventional barrels),10 cases in each.The results showed that Chinese medicine fumigation on both lower limbs has clinical curative effect to improve the symptoms of arthromyodynia caused by diabetes.It provide an alternative method of external treatment for DPN patients with numbness in both lower limbs which could alleviate their suffering and improve the quality of life significantly.

Clinical Observation on Brachial Plexus Block with “One Injection Two Points” Method Guiding by Ultrasound

OBJECTIVE: To compare the clinical effect of brachial plexus block with "One Injection Two Points" guided under ultrasound and the conventional method guiding by ultrasound. METHODS: 70 patients were randomized evenly into 2 groups, with 35 patients in each group, while the Experiment Group(Group B) received One Injection Two Points" method, the Control Group(Group A) received the conventional method.The nerve block every 5 s, the success rate of anesthesia, the dosage of local anesthetics, second remedial anesthesia, adverse reactions, etc.were recorded. RESULTS: Group B was superior to group A in the success rate of anesthesia; There were 6 patients in group A who required constant pump injection of Remifentanil to remedy, while no patients in Group B needed remedy treatment. There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups.CONCLUSIONS: The clinical effect of brachial plexus block with "One Injection Two Points" method guided under ultrasoundguiding by ultrasound was superior to that of the conventional method.

Preparation and Preliminary Clinical Observation of Zipu Capsule

[Objective] To study the preparation of Zipu Capsule and its clinical effect on the treatment of chronic periodontitis. [Method] The extraction, concentration, drying and preparation process of the raw herbal materials for Zipu Capsule were selected out. And 60 cases of chronic periodontitis patients were randomly assigned to two groups and were treated with conventional therapy and nursing care, while the treatment group was added with taking the Zipu capsule, to compare the cura- tive effects of the two groups. [Result] Both of two groups showed decreases in gingival index （GO, periodontal pocket depth （PD） and attachment loss values （AL） after treatment, and those of the treatment group was significantly lower than those of the control group （P〈0.05）. The total curative effective rate of the treatment group was 91.17%, and 76.92% in the control group, and the differences between the two groups reached the significant level （P〈0.05）. [Conclusion] Zipu Capsule had definite therapeutic effect in treatment of chronic periodontitis and less adverse re- actions, which laid the foundation for the further development into drug products.
