This paper reports that an exact quantum close coupling calculation is carried out for rotational excitation in Ne HF collisions on the available anisotropic potential. Partial cross sections are obtained separately at the incident energies of 48.35, 75, 120 and 150meV. The reliability of the results is demonstrated by comparison with previously published theoretical findings. Based on the calculations, the effect of the potential energy surface on the excitation partial cross sections is discussed in detail. 展开更多

An improved analytical method to determine the content of 52 major, minor and trace elements in marine geological samples, using a HF-HCl-HNO_3 acid system with a high-pressure closed digestion method(HPCD), is studied by an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES) and an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS). The operating parameters of the instruments are optimized, and the optimal analytical parameters are determined. The influences of optical spectrum and mass spectrum interferences, digestion methods and acid systems on the analytical results are investigated. The optimal spectral lines and isotopes are chosen, and internal standard element of rhodium is selected to compensate for matrix effects and analytical signals drifting. Compared with the methods of an electric heating plate digestion and a microwave digestion, a high-pressure closed digestion method is optimized with less acid, complete digestion,less damage for digestion process. The marine geological samples are dissolved completely by a HF-HCl-HNO_3 system, the relative error(RE) for the analytical results are all less than 6.0%. The method detection limits are 2–40μg/g by the ICP-OES, and 6–80 ng/g by ICP-MS. The methods are used to determine the marine sediment reference materials(GBW07309, GBW07311, GBW07313), rock reference materials(GBW07103, GBW07104,GBW07105), and cobalt-rich crust reference materials(GBW07337, GBW07338, GBW07339), the obtained analytical results are in agreement with the certified values, and both of the relative standard deviation(RSD) and the relative error(RE) are less than 6.0%. The analytical method meets the requirements for determining 52 elements contents of bulk marine geological samples. 展开更多

The group Ⅲ nitrides are an important class of materials with aplications in UV and visible optoelectronics,high temperature electronics,cold cathodes and solar blind detectors.In recent years,with the realisation of nitride based LEDs,the use of GaN IED has the potential to compete with 1raditional filament and discharge lamps,for the provision of white lighting,and there has been an explosion of interest in the MOCVD growth of GaN based materials with an increasing focus on large area multiwafer reactors and wafer uniforrmity.This paper will review the design philosophy and characteristics of close-coupled showerhead reactors,relating these to the requirements of group Ⅲ-nitride growth,and will present a selection of data resulting from the operation of such equipment.These results suggest that the close coupled showerhead style of reactor is very suitable for the growth of GaN based structures in both research and production environments. 展开更多

The closely coupled approach combined with the finite volume method (FVM) solver and the finite element method (FEM) solver is used to investigate the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) of a three-dimensional cantilevered hydrofoil in the water tunnel. The FVM solver and the coupled approach are verified and validated by compar- ing the numerical predictions with the experimental measurements, and good agreement is obtained concerning both the lift on the foil and the tip displacement. In the noncav- itating flow, the result indicates that the growth of the initial incidence angle and the Reynolds number improves the deformation of the foil, and the lift on the foil is increased by the twist deformation. The normalized twist angle and displacement along the span of the hydrofoil for different incidence angles and Reynolds numbers are almost uniform. For the cavitation flow, it is shown that the small amplitude vibration of the foil has limited influence on the developing process of the partial cavity, and the quasi two-dimensional cavity shedding does not change the deformation mode of the hydrofoil. However, the frequency spectrum of the lift on the foil contains the frequency which is associated with the first bend frequency of the hydrofoil. 展开更多

The electron capture processes in collisions of Li3+ion with Li(1s22s)and Li(1s22p0,1)are investigated by using the two-center atomic orbital close-coupling method in the energy range from 0.1 keV/u to 300 keV/u.The interaction of the active electrons with the target ion is represented by a model potential.The present results for the Li3+–Li(1s22s)system are compared with the available theoretical data and general agreement is obtained for the high collision energies.It is also found that the total and partial electron capture cross sections are sensitive to the initial charge cloud alignment in the low energy region. 展开更多

The vortex induced vibration(VIV) of a flexible plate behind the square head with various flow velocities is simulated. The closely coupling approach is used to model this fluid-structure interaction problem.The fluid governed by the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is solved in arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE)frame by the finite volume method. The structure described by the equations of the elastodynamics in Lagrangian representation is discretized by the finite element approach. The numerical results show that the resonance occurs when the frequency of vortex shedding from square head coincides with the natural frequency of plate. And the amplitude of both the structure motion and the fluid load keeps increasing with the time. Furthermore, it is also found that in particular range of flow velocity the vibration of the plate would reach a periodical state. The amplitude of plate oscillating increases with the growth of velocity, while the frequency is locked. 展开更多
