Network Modelling and Visualisation Analysis of the Undergraduate Dental Curriculum System in China

Objectives: This study aims to present the characteristics of the undergraduate dental curriculum system using network modelling and visualisation analysis based on complex network theory, thus providing a theoretical foundation for the course development and curriculum reform. Methods: The correlation coefficient was used to quantify the intensity of the correlation between courses, and a visualisation complex network of the dental curriculum was built to explore the curriculum pattern from a dynamic perspective. Further, the statistical measurements of curriculum network were adopted to express the most relevant topological features. Subsequently, the minimum spanning tree and parallel coordinates plot were drawn to explore the curriculum community structure, quantify the key courses, and present different courses in time and space relationships. Results: The correlation analysis results show that the courses are closely related to each other. The main courses focus on pathology, pathophysiology, oral anatomy and physiology, closely connecting almost all medicine-related courses. The whole course network has an average degree value of 41.53, and a clustering coefficient of 0.78, indicating an obvious small-world characteristic. From the perspective of curriculum attributes, the number of public and theoretical courses was more than that of skills and practical courses. Moreover, the academic performance of skills and practical courses was lower than that of public and theoretical courses. Conclusion: The undergraduate dental courses have a progressive structure from basic professional knowledge to professional skills, which is reasonable for the dental education in China. However, some efforts towards curriculum reform based on this study are needed.

Oil Streak Visualisation of Fluid Flow Over Single D-Type Cylinder

An experimental study on the effect of cut angle on circular cylinders to the drag force is performed. Six cylinders were cut at different angles and the air flow impinges perpendicular to the cut surface of the cylinder. The cut angles applied include: 0°, 30°, 45°, 53°, 55°, and 75°. The shear layer visualisation on the surface of cylinder was conducted as well. Drag force was measured using a wind tunnel force balance and the wind speed was set so that a corresponding Rey-nolds number of 5.3 × 104 was achieved. Visualisation was carried out by covering the cylinder with paper wetted by mixture of oil and titanium dioxide powder. Experimental results show that drag force has similar trend to that of previous experiment results. The minimum drag coefficient is attained at the cut angle of 53°. From oil streak visualisation the streamlines pattern of the flow over the cylinder could be reconstructed.

基于文献分析脉冲星搜寻及应用研究进展

脉冲星在天体演化、物理学、计时、深空自主导航、引力波探测等领域均有重要的学术和应用价值,脉冲星搜寻及其应用也成为了当前天文界热点研究之一。为了更好地探究脉冲星搜寻及其应用领域的研究现状和未来发展趋势,在Web of Science(WOS)数据库筛选出有关脉冲星搜寻及应用的964篇文献,在阅读核心文献的基础上,采用数据分析和可视化方法进行深入探讨。结果表明,脉冲星搜寻及应用领域的研究经历了初始探索阶段和稳健发展阶段,目前进入蓬勃增长阶段。该领域各国之间密切合作,形成了三大主要的研究群体。脉冲星搜寻及其应用研究在未来将产生如直接探测引力波、深空自主导航等重要科研价值和实际应用结果,将进一步丰富和多元化脉冲星的研究领域。

网络资源可视化探索和应用

网络资源是国家的重要战略基础设施,同时也是电信网络和业务的主要载体,由于其覆盖范围广、体量大、组网类型复杂,网络资源的全生命周期管理链条长且逻辑关系复杂,是网络管理和运营的关键点及难点。实现网络资源可视化对于电信运营商来说是一个巨大的挑战,需要管理、流程、数据、系统各方面的共同努力,以促进网络资源实现可视、可控、可靠、可信。中国联通在资源可视化方面做了部分探索和实践,取得了较好的成效。

基于CiteSpace的我国社区糖尿病管理研究可视化分析

目的:分析我国社区糖尿病管理研究领域的文献发表情况及研究热点,为社区糖尿病管理的发展提供参考。方法:以中国知网为数据来源,检索社区糖尿病管理研究的相关文献,运用CiteSpace 6.2.R4可视化软件对截至2023年10月24日的文献发文量、研究机构、作者、高频关键词进行分析。结果:本研究共纳入3882篇文献,社区糖尿病管理研究发文量最多的机构是复旦大学公共卫生学院,发文量最多的作者是袁申元、崔学利。机构和作者虽有合作,但明显受地域因素影响。共形成17个关键词聚类标签,出现频次排名前3位的关键词分别是“糖尿病”“社区”“健康教育”。结论:社区糖尿病管理的研究热点为糖尿病分型和合并高血压、血糖、老年人群体、社区糖尿病管理的健康教育和健康促进。

Fundamental error in tree-based machine learning model selection for reservoir characterisation

Over the past two decades,machine learning techniques have been extensively used in predicting reservoir properties.While this approach has significantly contributed to the industry,selecting an appropriate model is still challenging for most researchers.Relying solely on statistical metrics to select the best model for a particular problem may not always be the most effective approach.This study encourages researchers to incorporate data visualization in their analysis and model selection process.To evaluate the suitability of different models in predicting horizontal permeability in the Volve field,wireline logs were used to train Extra-Trees,Ridge,Bagging,and XGBoost models.The Random Forest feature selection technique was applied to select the relevant logs as inputs for the models.Based on statistical metrics,the Extra-Trees model achieved the highest test accuracy of 0.996,RMSE of 19.54 mD,and MAE of 3.18 mD,with XGBoost coming in second.However,when the results were visualised,it was discovered that the XGBoost model was more suitable for the problem being tackled.The XGBoost model was a better predictor within the sandstone interval,while the Extra-Trees model was more appropriate in non-sandstone intervals.Since this study aims to predict permeability in the reservoir interval,the XGBoost model is the most suitable.These contrasting results demonstrate the importance of incorporating data visualisation techniques as an evaluation metric.Given the heterogeneity of the subsurface,relying solely on statistical metrics may not be sufficient to determine which model is best suited for a particular problem.

基于Citespace对健脾法治疗冠心病可视化分析

目的 分析中医药健脾法治疗冠心病的研究现状及热点,探索研究新趋势。方法 检索中国知网近23年收录的健脾法治疗冠心病相关文献,应用CiteSpace 6.2.4.msi软件绘制作者、机构、关键词知识图谱。结果 共纳入文献257篇。自2000年以来,中医药健脾法治疗冠心病的研究总体呈上升趋势。存在2个合作紧密的研究团队,分别以杨关林、张军平为代表;最主要研究机构为辽宁中医药大学;关键词共现分析频次居前3位的为“冠心病”“胸痹”“从脾论治”。结论 基于病证结合的中医药治疗冠心病分子机制研究是目前的研究热点,研究趋势从临床观察拓展到实验研究,未来该领域研究方向更多趋向于健脾祛痰化瘀法,从基因、蛋白直至关键病理环节的成链式、系统式研究。

村上春树文学研究的轨迹与趋势——基于1993—2023年文献的可视化分析

我国对村上春树作品的研究始于20世纪80年代末期,经历从发端、涨潮、高潮再到退潮的过程。30年来,从对《挪威的森林》的文学批评开始,村上春树研究的轨迹从后现代主义到文明批判、跨文化传播等不断发展和变化。近年来,随着数字化技术的快速发展,村上春树的作品也被运用到了新的研究领域。文章以CNKI中国学术文献网络出版总库以及万方数据库收录的村上春树研究文章为样本,以村上春树为关键词,对1993-2023年国内村上春树文学研究进行梳理、统计和可视化分析。剖析村上春树研究的动态轨迹和变化趋势,以期全面展示村上春树研究领域的发展全貌。

杭州地铁9号线临平段可视化接地系统联网改造设计方案

杭州地铁9号线全线统一设置可视化接地系统,临平段为原1号线支线,需进行可视化接地系统改造。介绍了临平段可视化接地系统的联网设计方案及联网改造方案,并对设置可视化接地系统后带电检测信号的上传进行了说明。

眼动实验在交互界面设计中的研究进展与趋势

对国内外眼动实验应用在交互界面设计中的文献进行可视化的分析,得到总体性认识,从而客观解读交互界面设计的发展趋势。采用文献法与内容分析法,把2000-2022年中国知网(CNKI)以及WebiofScence核心合集数据库中的相关文献作为数据来源,通过VOSvewer、Ctespace工具对文献进行可视化分析。研究发现,国内外研究热度同步呈现上升趋势,但研究热点既有联系又有区别。国内涉猎范围广泛,界面眼动实验与多学科交叉融合。而国外则在临床医学等高价值方向进行纵向深入的研究。界面设计范围不断扩大,关注用户,设计元素不断细化。在后续研究中,国内可以从临床医学等高价值方向纵向深度发展,同时加强与先进计算机技术的结合。

基于CiteSpace对国内外医院感染护理相关研究的可视化分析

目的 医院感染问题关系到医院的医疗质量与医患安全,本文探讨国内外医院感染护理相关研究的发展现状、研究热点及趋势,为开展今后研究提供参考依据。方法 计算机检索2010年1月1日—2022年12月31日有关医院感染护理的相关文献,中文数据库包括中国知网(CNKI)、中国生物医学文献数据库(CBM)、万方数据库、维普数据库,英文检索Web of Science(WOS)数据库,运用CiteSpace软件对年度发文量、作者合作、机构合作、关键词、突现词等特征进行可视化分析。结果 最终纳入2508篇文献,其中中文文献942篇,英文文献1566篇。国内医院感染护理相关文献的发文量总体呈下降趋势,国外研究发文量与国内相反;国内高频关键词主要有危险因素、护理干预、手卫生等,国外高频关键词除ICU外其余一致;可视化分析显示英文文献作者间合作和研究机构间合作较中文文献多,国内核心作者6位,国外核心作者12位;中文的发文机构主要为华中科技大学附属医院,英文为哥伦比亚大学。结论 有效控制医院感染情况、强化感染质量管理、评估识别发现的医院感染风险点、针对性采取风险干预措施并持续评估跟踪、聚焦于护理人员医院感染防控的研究对保障患者安全和提升护理质量具有重要意义,今后研究应针对护理相关高危因素采取基于循证的措施降低医院感染发生率。

A bibliometric analysis and visualization of osteochondral lesions of talus (2004-2021)

Background:Osteochondral lesions of the talus(OLTs)are a significant challenge for foot and ankle specialists,which could cause pain and decrease patient function.Researchers can use the findings of this study to shape future directions for research by exploring global trends and hotspots in OLT.Methods:Web of Science Core Collection was used to retrieve literature related to OLT between 2004 and 2021.This report covers the current state of OLTs,such as publications,journals,trends,hotspots,and the performances of relevant countries,institutions and authors.The co-citation analysis,the coauthorship analysis,the cooccurrence analysis,and the bibliographic coupling analysis were conducted with the Bibliometrix R package,VOSviewer v1.6.10.0,and CiteSpace 5.8.R3.Results:During an 18-year review,717 articles and 76 review articles on OLT published from 2004 to 2021 were reviewed.The USA has made the largest contribution to the OLT-related literature,and a significant contribution has been made by Kennedy JG(48/6.05%)and van Dijk CN(30/3.78%).In terms of total link strength,Foot&Ankle International was the leading journal.Analysis showed that the global research hotspots of OLTs focused on the pathogenesis,diagnosis,clinical research,and surgical treatment of OLT.It would be significant to pay close attention to future research on osteochondral autograft transplantation and management,surgery,multidisciplinary integration and mechanisms of OLT,and its related diseases.Conclusions:The study provides information about the current status and hotspots of research in the domain of OLT over the past 18 years that will assist researchers in identifying potential perspectives on hot topics and research frontiers.

基于唐诗宋词语境的苏州古城景观印象初探

城市的景观格局和文化内涵常在诗词文本中得以体现。这些诗词承载着城市的原始记忆,映射出城市的繁荣兴衰。对诗词文本进行深度解读和可视化分析,可窥见所处朝代城市的景观格局、人文风貌,以及文化动力驱动下城市风貌的改变。古代苏州城市自然景观与人文风貌并置,是“诗意化的景观空间”。该文利用数字技术,力图厘清唐诗宋词与苏州古城的密切关系,并基于此搭建研究框架,结合历史数据整理唐宋时期诗人对苏州的印象片段,以期延续城市文脉、彰显城市特质,并为城市诗意建设相关研究提供审慎参考。

Visualising data distributions with kernel density estimation and reduced chi-squared statistic

The application of frequency distribution statistics to data provides objective means to assess the nature of the data distribution and viability of numerical models that are used to visualize and interpret data.Two commonly used tools are the kernel density estimation and reduced chi-squared statistic used in combination with a weighted mean.Due to the wide applicability of these tools,we present a Java-based computer application called KDX to facilitate the visualization of data and the utilization of these numerical tools.

A Hierarchical Framework for Visualising and Simulating Supply Chains in Virtual Environments

This paper presents research into applying virtual environment (VE) technology to supply chain management (SCM). Our research work has employed virtual manufacturing environments to represent supply chain nodes to simulate processes and activities in supply chain management. This will enable those who are involved in these processes and activities to gain an intuitive understanding of them, so as to design robust supply chains and make correct decisions at the right time. A framework system and its hierarchical structure for visualising and simulating supply chains in virtual environments are reported and detailed in this paper.

Mapping theme trends and knowledge structures for human neural stem cells:a quantitative and co-word biclustering analysis for the 2013-2018 period

Neural stem cells,which are capable of multi-potential differentiation and self-renewal,have recently been shown to have clinical potential for repairing central nervous system tissue damage.However,the theme trends and knowledge structures for human neural stem cells have not yet been studied bibliometrically.In this study,we retrieved 2742 articles from the PubMed database from 2013 to 2018 using "Neural Stem Cells" as the retrieval word.Co-word analysis was conducted to statistically quantify the characteristics and popular themes of human neural stem cell-related studies.Bibliographic data matrices were generated with the Bibliographic Item Co-Occurrence Matrix Builder.We identified 78 high-frequency Medical Subject Heading(MeSH)terms.A visual matrix was built with the repeated bisection method in gCLUTO software.A social network analysis network was generated with Ucinet 6.0 software and GraphPad Prism 5 software.The analyses demonstrated that in the 6-year period,hot topics were clustered into five categories.As suggested by the constructed strategic diagram,studies related to cytology and physiology were well-developed,whereas those related to neural stem cell applications,tissue engineering,metabolism and cell signaling,and neural stem cell pathology and virology remained immature.Neural stem cell therapy for stroke and Parkinson’s disease,the genetics of microRNAs and brain neoplasms,as well as neuroprotective agents,Zika virus,Notch receptor,neural crest and embryonic stem cells were identified as emerging hot spots.These undeveloped themes and popular topics are potential points of focus for new studies on human neural stem cells.

The hot issues of studies in China on digital information resources: Based on co-word analysis

With the SPSS and the help of factor method and hierarchical clustered method,journal articles on digital information resources(DIR) from CNKI in the past ten years are analyzed with a co-word analytical method in this paper. The hot issues of studies on DIR and the relationship between those subjects are analyzed in this investigation as well.

Structures and dynamics of scientific knowledge networks:An empirical analysis based on a co-word network

Co-word networks are constructed with author-provided keywords in academic publications and their relations of co-occurrence.As special form of scientific knowledge networks,they represent the cognitive structure of scientific literature.This paper analyzes the complex structure of a co-word network based on 8,190 author-provided keywords extracted from 3,651 papers in five Chinese core journals in the field of management science.Small-world and scale-free phenomena are found in this network.A large-scale co-word network graph,which consists of one major giant component and many small isolated components,has been generated with the GUESS software.The dynamic growth of keywords and keyword co-occurrence relationships are described with four new informetrics measures.The results indicate that existing concepts always serve as the intellectual base of new ideas as represented by keywords.
