Based on three-stage data envelopment analysis(DEA) model estimates of resource utilization efficiency of coal,we selected 29 provinces from China's 2012 input-output data and used the bootstrap DEA model to corre...Based on three-stage data envelopment analysis(DEA) model estimates of resource utilization efficiency of coal,we selected 29 provinces from China's 2012 input-output data and used the bootstrap DEA model to correct the bias.The results show that the mean overall technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency was 0.833,0.998,and 0.711 in 2012,respectively.Moreover,the comprehensive technical efficiency score indicates that the scale is invalid.Area utilization efficiencies for the eastern,central,and western regions were 0.917,0.731,and 0.629,respectively.The results prove that there are significant differences in the distribution of coal resources utilization efficiency across regions.展开更多

With regard to the energy con- sumption and carbon emissions of transportation within an open-cut mine, this paper systematically compared the work and energy consumption of a truck and belt conveyor on a theoretical basis, and con- structed a model to calculate the energy consumption of open-cut mine transportation. Life cycle carbon emission factors and power consumption calculation model were established through a Process Analysis- Life Cycle Analysis (PA-LCA). The following results were obtained: (1) the energy consumption of truck transportation was four to twelve times higher than that of the belt conveyor; (2) the C02 emissions from truck transportation were three to ten times higher than those of the belt conveyor; (3) with the increase in the slope angle for transportation, the ratio of truck to belt conveyor for both energy consumption and carbon emissions gradually decreased; (4) based on 2013 prices in China, the energy cost of transportation using a belt conveyor in open-cut coal mines could save 0.6-2.4 Yuan/(t kin) compared to truck transportation.展开更多

Recently, the flip-flow screening has been widely recognized as a feasible method...During screening operation, blinding or clogging of screen perforations generally occurs to reduce the sieving capacity and efficiency. Recently, the flip-flow screening has been widely recognized as a feasible method to deal with the problem. In this paper, a novel centralized-driving flip-flow screen(CFS) was developed for the separation of fine and moist coal, and the key structures, namely, a centralized-driving mechanism and a quasi-circle beam mounted with the mat were designed for high reliability and stability. By means of a test on an experimental prototype, the effect of some factors, i.e., initial stretch and hardness of the polyurethane panel, respectively, and the rotation speed of the driving motor on the kinematic characteristic of the screen surface was investigated. Results show that without an initial stretch, the sieve mat generates the largest vibratory amplitude while the slacker the sieve mat initially is, the smaller amplitude it will accomplish. And an increase in the rotation speed could cause a rise in the vibratory amplitude. Unlike the two factors, the hardness does not have a definite effect on the kinematic performance, on which a further study is required. Finally, screening processing on a laboratory prototype was conducted to draw the conclusion that the developed CFS also has a high sieving efficiency for the fine and moist coal.展开更多
