There are different opinions about the first modern domestic debt in China.The theorists judge whether a certain public debt has modernity according to whether it has modern public debt form,ignoring the inconsistency...There are different opinions about the first modern domestic debt in China.The theorists judge whether a certain public debt has modernity according to whether it has modern public debt form,ignoring the inconsistency between form and content,institutional provisions and actual implementation.The modern nature of public debt must have both the form and content of modern public debt.Based on the analysis of the issuing background,system design,collection and repayment of patriotic bonds in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,it is considered that the part of patriotic bonds subscribed by the Qing royal family is still the nature of donation and return,while the part subscribed by ordinary businessmen and people in the early Republic of China has a modern nature.The dual nature of patriotic bonds is closely related to the social background when the bonds are issued.展开更多
By taking a modern residence in Meishan area as an example,15 measuring points have been set,and the wind speed of the parlor on the first and second floor and that of many bedding rooms have been measured every other...By taking a modern residence in Meishan area as an example,15 measuring points have been set,and the wind speed of the parlor on the first and second floor and that of many bedding rooms have been measured every other hour from 7:00 to 22:00.Based on the measuring data and indoor architectural pattern,indoor ventilation has been analyzed.The results show that good natural ventilation could be created in modern rural residence by making use of plane layout,orientation and openings' organization,so that indoor air can be distributed evenly,helping to reduce temperature and remove humidness;indoor wind speed of the openings of architectures is the largest;and architectural orientation and opening's position can guide air flow and help to improve natural ventilation obviously.展开更多

Planning and design of modern residential landscapes in China has experienced rapid growth, but many residential areas have simulated western landscape designs and lost the ambience of traditional Chinese landscape pa...Planning and design of modern residential landscapes in China has experienced rapid growth, but many residential areas have simulated western landscape designs and lost the ambience of traditional Chinese landscape painting, and the designs have shown poor diversity, artistic quality or unification of landscapes and environmental effects. Hence, the paper proposed that modern residential landscape design should be integrated with Chinese landscape painting factors, and the concept of "human-nature oneness" should be demonstrated to create garden landscapes suitable for appreciating, sightseeing, living and enjoying, and also living spaces with picturesque scenery. Through analyzing landscape designs of "Century Sunshine Garden" in Hefei City, Anhui Province, the study explored the integration of modern residential landscapes and Chinese landscape painting ambience, so as to create green, ecological, healthy, practical landscapes for modern residential areas.展开更多
