This paper explores the potential of applying online collaborative documents to foster critical thinking skills in EFL college-level classrooms.Considering the limitations of traditional teacher-centered approaches and the need for innovative methods,the study examines the integration of online collaborative tools,using Tencent Docs as an example.The discussion highlights the importance of critical thinking in the academic and professional spheres and introduces the concept of online collaborative documents for enhancing this cognitive skill.Through a detailed exploration,the paper presents a model of employing collaborative documents within a college English class,demonstrating how students collaboratively learning an article.Then,the paper discusses the pros and cons of employing this technology in classroom.The conclusion emphasizes the transformative potential of integrating technology into pedagogy and its role in creating a dynamic learning environment.The paper underscores the importance of striking a balance between technology and traditional methods,foreseeing avenues for further research and development. 展开更多

Good psychological quality is the basic requirement for college students in the new era.Students from junior colleges moving into xmdergraduate level in private colleges are a special group as they are already an important part of students in private colleges.Based on the mental health status of these students,private colleges have analyzed the issues of mental health education which include weak teaching staffs,lack attention,and traditional education methods.From the perspective of three-dimensional education,the psychological education work model in private colleges is explored to build an education team to promote the participation of all employees in the work of psychological education,strengthen the attention of college students who are moving into the undergraduate level,and to pay full attention to these students.Private colleges should try to innovate education methods and improve psychological education in all aspects. 展开更多

What Motivate Sudanese Students to Leam English as a Foreign Language?

While there are several research studies that planned to discover what drives students' motivation to learn English as a foreign/second language, to our knowledge there have been no pragmatic studies in the field of EFL that examined Sudanese college-level students learning motivation. This study, therefore, intends to investigate Sudanese college-level students' motivation and its correlation to student's achievement. With strong emphasis on motivation, this study is, also examining the relationship between students' motivation and achievement when learning English as foreign language. The participants in this study were college-level students in Sudan. The data was collected from 60 college level students. This quantitative study employed both Pearson Correlation methods of analysis as well as ANOVA Regression analysis. The results of this study revealed that there is strong correlation between students' motivation and students' achievement. 展开更多
