Research on the Relationship between the School-Running Characteristics of Private Colleges and Universities and the Development Objectives of the Government

The development objectives of the Chinese government have a guiding effect on the school-running characteristics of private colleges and universities.This paper explores the relationship between the characteristics of private colleges and universities and the development objectives of the provincial government,using Jiangsu Province as a case study.All the schools have the consciousness of fully considering the development objectives of Jiangsu Province when formulating the school-running characteristics.Their characteristics all contain some training methods,training courses,or institutional construction aiming at the development objectives.Most universities can support the government’s objectives on employment and innovation.Only a third of the schools provide government support for science research.Private colleges and universities should make full use of the free and flexible advantages of private education,combine them with the continuous changes of policies and markets,and create clear,scientific,and dynamic school-running characteristics,in order to achieve long-term development.

Empirical Examination of the Effects of Competition and Regulation on Public Universities and Colleges＇ Performance in China

Competition and regulation are indispensable entities for a university＇s improved performance. Using university rating as an index to performance, empirical analyses with the data from 145 public universities and colleges in China show that increased competition in the education service market is associated with higher university＇s （college＇s） performance. And increased competition in R＆D may make a quadratic effect on university＇s （college＇s） performance. University＇s performance improves when a university is directed as a branch of the central government because they enjoy some degree of management flexibility more than the local government controlled ones. A major implication of the study is the need to reform competition and regulation for improving universities and colleges＇ operating performance in China.

Informationized Technological Path for the School-running Risk Prevention and Supervision of Private Colleges and Universities under the Background of the Internet

At present,with the decrease of the educational population and the gradual deepening of the higher educational reform,the development of the private colleges and universities is facing various contradictions and challenges.The development concept of"innovation,coordination,green,open and sharing"put forward at the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the CPC provides the value guidance and the practical basis for the private colleges and universities to renew their development concepts and solve their development problems.

Research on the Correlation between the Learning Strategies on English Listening and the Corresponding Performance among College Students

Listening is very important for the learning of a language.We must ensure that there are language standardization and foundation of practice while learning any languages.By improving listening,the language communication ability can be improved.Learning other languages requires listening as the foundation of learning.In college English teaching,listening also takes very important position.However,due to the current situation of Chinese education and the characteristics of students’learning,Chinese students generally have a lower level of listening skills,and usually,most of them score very low in the listening part in level 4 or level 6 of the College English Tests.The root cause of this phenomenon is that listening test in some underdeveloped areas of China is not included as part of the test results of the middle and high school entrance examinations,and very often,listening was neglected in English lessons.As a result,many students end up with poor listening performance result.However,in college,the teaching of listening still follows the traditional education model of the past,and there are many lessons allocated to this aspect of English learning.In addition,there is almost no strategic guidance in the learning process,making students unable to begin on listening practice.Although both teachers and students tried to improve their listening skills,the results were unsatisfactory.Therefore,it is imperative to solve the problem of poor English listening level of students.Experts such as Huang Zidong and Wang Yu believe that strengthening strategic training is currently a very important method to improve students’English listening skills.

Investigation of the Academic Performance of College-to-University Transfer Students

Over the last decade, many universities/colleges have developed formal agreements which permit students from recognized college programs to be able to seamlessly transfer to a closely-related university program with advance standing. There has been some concerned raised that students that come to university from college may not be academically (or emotionally) prepared for the faster-paced university programs. This research, which was funded by an Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer Faculty Fellowship, examines the academic performance of students in computer-related disciplines with a focus on comparing students who come to a university through a formalized college-to-university transfer agreement relative to students who enroll directly from high school. The comparisons will be based on metrics such as graduation rates, course failure rates, overall averages, course-level averages, and course-subject averages.

基于OPPM理论的全过程“双高计划”绩效评价指标体系构建研究

“双高计划”绩效评价是“双高计划”建设的重要指挥棒。在分析绩效评价内涵、逻辑和实践困境的基础上,从OPPM理论的全过程视角出发,运用德尔菲法、九级标度法和层次分析法确定绩效评价指标体系权重,围绕“双高计划”决策目标构建一级指标6个、二级指标19个、三级指标67个的绩效评价体系,并提出定性与定量、过程与结果、内部与外部、全面与重点有机结合的绩效评价方式。

高校教师绩效多准则定量评价机制创新与分析研究

采用熵权TOPSIS方法建立了包含人才培养、科学研究、社会服务等相关指标的高校教师多准则绩效评价模型,对比了原积分排名与TOPSIS模型、熵权TOPSIS模型的绩效评价结果,讨论了评价指标变化及样本变化对指标间权重分布及评价结果的影响。发现熵权TOPSIS模型中内部差异化大的指标具有高权重,并使在内部差异化大的指标中表现突出的教师排名提升,评价结果明显区别于积分排序。评价指标的增减不影响原评价指标的权重排序,但指标权重增大或者减小的量与其原来权重的排序成正比。评价对象数量的增减将改变评价指标权重,并对评价结果排序产生影响。结果表明:通过建立分类考核与评价机制,平衡导向性和多元性的指标体系,选取科学合理的业绩量化标准,熵权TOPSIS方法可以客观、综合地评价教师取得的成果。

大学生暑期社会实践劳动育人绩效提升:意义、困境和对策

暑期社会实践作为高校劳动教育的重要载体,对促进大学生理论知识深化与实践能力提升、身体素质提高与精神品质涵养、自我本质寻绎与社会认同构建具有重要意义。当前,大学生暑期社会实践劳动育人存在着实践活动形式同实践育人的内容要求相脱节、实践主体具身性在场同参与意识隐退相矛盾、少数精英实践模式同全员实践需求相冲突等问题,制约着暑期社会实践劳动育人功能的发挥。新时代提升暑期社会实践劳动育人绩效,需要着力打造党领导下的多元社会主体共同参与育人体制,完善以尊重学生主体为基础的全员暑期社会实践体系,构建以制度改革为指引的全方位全过程科学育人系统。

宁做“鸡头”不做“凤尾”?——新高考背景下优质高中对学生学业表现的影响

基于某新高考省份高中毕业生的大规模问卷调查数据,使用断点回归方法研究进入不同梯队优质高中对学生高考成绩、选科选考及学习投入的影响。研究发现:从学业成绩来看,优质高中并没有显著提升学生的高考成绩;相比在第二梯队优质高中做“鸡头”,勉强进入第一梯队优质高中的“凤尾”学生甚至可能面临成绩损失。从学习行为来看,“鸡头”和“凤尾”学生在选科选考和学习投入方面差异不大;相比非优质高中的“鸡头”,第二梯队优质高中的“凤尾”学生更晚确定选考科目、校内学习投入更少;相比第二梯队优质高中的“鸡头”,第一梯队优质高中的“凤尾”学生的校内学习投入更多、但学习效率更低。本文的研究发现侧面验证了政府部门监管择校、实施教育资源均衡政策的必要性。

高校财务全过程预算绩效评价实施的对策

高等学校的资金投入不断扩大,资金来源呈现多元化态势,如何评价高校预算资金管理,能否实现战略发展目标、降低资金的使用成本、规避财务风险、优化资源配置、实现可持续化发展,成为高校预算管理的重要内容。按照党中央、国务院对预算绩效管理的部署安排,要求预算绩效管理体系覆盖预算的全过程、全方位,对预算绩效评价指标、评价标准、评价结果应用等方面都有了更高的要求。应在解决问题的基础上建立评价实施对策,完善高校全过程预算绩效评价体系。

大学生在线学习动机、学习策略对在线学习绩效影响机制——自我效能感的中介作用

以高校大学生为研究对象,基于887份有效问卷,运用结构方程模型和Bootstrap中介检验法系统探究了大学生在线学习动机、学习策略对在线学习绩效的影响机制。研究表明:在线学习动机直接正向影响在线学习绩效,但没有通过自我效能感间接影响在线学习绩效;学习策略直接正向影响在线学习绩效,同时通过自我效能感间接影响在线学习绩效,自我效能感在学习策略对在线学习绩效正向影响中起完全中介作用;自我效能感是正向影响在线学习绩效的最重要因素,其次是在线学习动机和学习策略。基于此,提出了增强大学生在线学习的自我效能感,适度提升大学生在线学习动机,优化大学生在线学习策略,进而提高在线学习绩效的建议。

“双一流”建设背景下省属高校绩效工资制度实施探索

绩效工资是高校教职工工资的重要组成部分。在主管部门核定的绩效工资总量下,由高校自主制定发放管理办法并实施。该文提出了省属高校绩效工资分配新模式,包括岗位津贴模式、工作量津贴模式和突出业绩奖励模式,阐述了省属高校在绩效工资制度实施过程中存在的激励作用不足、绩效考核不科学、绩效辅导缺失等现状,最后提出了相应的对策和建议。

高校基层团组织量化评价体系构建与实测分析

本研究在对高校基层团组织绩效概念的分析基础上,通过文献调研和专家座谈,从财务维度、顾客维度、内部流程维度、学习成长维度等四个方面,建立了高校基层团组织绩效评价指标体系模型,选取了39个评价指标组成了高校基层团组织量化评价指标体系,并以浙江大学为例对高校基层团组织绩效进行了实测与分析,一方面对所构建的绩效评价指标体系进行信度和效度检验,另一方面也在一定程度上描述了当前高校基层团组织建设的基本现状,为高校基层团组织绩效提升策略的提出提供了参考和依据。
