On the Assessment of Generative AI in Requirements Analysis and Modeling Tasks with UML:An Exploratory Study

Generative AI is rapidly employed by software developers to generate code or other software artifacts.However,the analysis and assessment of generative AI with respect to requirements analysis and modeling tasks,especially with UML,has received little attention.This paper investigates the capabilities of generative AI to aid in the creation of three types of UML models:UML use case models,class diagrams,and sequence diagrams.For this purpose,we designed an AI-aided UML modeling task in our course on software requirements modeling.50 undergraduates who majored in Software Engineering at Wuhan University completed the modeling task and the corresponding online survey.Our findings show that generative AI can help create these three types of UML models,but its performance is limited to identifying essential modeling elements of these UML models. 展开更多

Builders can build and assemble knowledge system structure and make knowledge units can be self assembled, thus we can develop and consummate them continually. Influence of Software Modeling and Design on Domain-Specific Abstract Thinking: Student’s Perspective

Software engineers are required, ... Software engineering has been taught at many institutions as individual course for many years. Recently, many higher education institutions offer a BSc degree in Software Engineering. Software engineers are required, especially at the small enterprises, to play many roles, and sometimes simultaneously. Beside the technical and managerial skills, software engineers should have additional intellectual skills such as domain-specific abstract thinking. Therefore, software engineering curriculum should help the students to build and improve their skills to meet the labor market needs. This study aims to explore the perceptions of software engineering students on the influence of learning software modeling and design on their domain-specific abstract thinking. Also, we explore the role of the course project in improving their domain-specific abstract thinking. The study results have shown that, most of the surveyed students believe that learning and practicing modeling and design concepts contribute to their ability to think abstractly on specific domain. However, this finding is influenced by the students’ lack of the comprehension of some modeling and design aspects (e.g., generalization). We believe that, such aspects should be introduced to the students at early levels of software engineering curriculum, which certainly will improve their ability to think abstractly on specific domain. 展开更多

为了更好地对深部煤矿顶板事故展开风险评价,提出了组合赋权三维云评估技术。基于事故统计及事故致因理论,对深部煤矿顶板事故风险指标体系展开研究,采用博弈论对改进层次分析法(Analytic Hierarchy Process,AHP)和熵权法进行博弈分析,... 为了更好地对深部煤矿顶板事故展开风险评价,提出了组合赋权三维云评估技术。基于事故统计及事故致因理论,对深部煤矿顶板事故风险指标体系展开研究,采用博弈论对改进层次分析法(Analytic Hierarchy Process,AHP)和熵权法进行博弈分析,以实现风险指标的组合赋权,通过构建三维云模型,对深部煤矿顶板事故危险性进行可视化分析。结果表明:包括行为、技术、设备、环境、管理5大风险因素在内的一级指标并其下20个二级风险指标是深部煤矿顶板事故风险评价指标体系的主体内容,且以环境风险权重最大;由三维云评估技术分析可知,平煤九矿的顶板事故风险级别为Ⅲ级,即修复后可接受,与该矿生产实际情况相符。组合赋权三维云评估技术的提出有助于完善深部煤矿顶板事故风险评价方法,可应用于工程实践。 展开更多

目的探讨创新视野下基础联合应用的教学模式在产前超声诊断继续医学教育中的应用价值。方法选取2020年1月—2021年12月于新疆医科大学第一附属医院超声科接受继续医学教育培训的30名学员,根据盲抽法将其分为观察组与对照组,各15名学员... 目的探讨创新视野下基础联合应用的教学模式在产前超声诊断继续医学教育中的应用价值。方法选取2020年1月—2021年12月于新疆医科大学第一附属医院超声科接受继续医学教育培训的30名学员,根据盲抽法将其分为观察组与对照组,各15名学员。对照组采用传统教学方法,观察组采用创新视野下基础联合应用的教学模式。比较2组培训前、培训3个月后的考核理论成绩、考核技能成绩以及2组对教学方法的总满意度。结果培训3个月后,观察组的超声基础原理[(8.67±1.15)分]、相关疾病鉴定诊断[(17.35±2.14)分]、疾病超声诊断[(27.68±2.01)分]、图像辨别[(8.69±1.04)分]、病例分析[(26.46±3.05)分]评分及总分[(88.85±7.62)分]均高于对照组[(6.46±1.08)分、(13.22±2.66)分、(24.26±3.21)分、(6.05±1.65)分、(22.84±2.95)分、(72.83±7.21)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);培训3个月后,观察组的标准切面[(36.65±2.41)分]、操作手法[(16.26±2.55)分]、疾病诊断与鉴别[(17.95±2.16)分]、报告书写[(17.24±2.01)分]评分及总分[(88.10±8.51)分]均高于对照组[(32.56±2.47)分、(14.36±2.01)分、(14.26±2.01)分、(14.66±2.51)分、(76.04±7.32)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);培训3个月后,观察组学员的总满意度为86.67%,与对照组的66.67%比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论创新视野下基础联合应用的教学模式在产前超声诊断继续医学教育中的应用价值较高,可提高学员理论、技能水平。 展开更多
