To accomplish this, three technologies, Device-to-Device communication (D2D), multi-access edge computing (MEC) and network function virtualization (NFV) with ClickOS, have been a significant part of 5G, and this paper mainly discusses them. D2D enables direct communication between devices without the relay of base station. In 5G, a two-tier cellular network composed of traditional cellular network system and D2D is an efficient method for realizing high-speed communication. MEC unloads work from end devices and clouds platforms to widespread nodes, and connects the nodes together with outside devices and third-party providers, in order to diminish the overloading effect on any device caused by enormous applications and improve users’ quality of experience (QoE). There is also a NFV method in order to fulfill the 5G requirements. In this part, an optimized virtual machine for middle-boxes named ClickOS is introduced, and it is evaluated in several aspects. Some middle boxes are being implemented in the ClickOS and proved to have outstanding performances.展开更多

The method is based on controlling and optimizing carrier frequencies which are used in data links between network nods. In UWA channels Pathloss and noise power spectrum density (psd) are related to carrier frequency. Therefore, unlike radio communications, in UWA Communications signal to noise ratio (SNR) is related to frequency besides propagation link length. In such channels an optimum frequency in whole frequency band and link lengths cannot be found. In Cooperative transmission, transmitter sends one copy of transmitted data packets to relay node. Then relay depending on cooperation scheme, amplifies or decodes each data packet and retransmit it to destination. Receiver uses and combines both received signals to estimate transmitted data. This paper wants to propose a new method to decrease network power consumptions by controlling and sub-optimizing transmission frequency based on link length. For this purpose, underwater channel parameters is simulated and analyzed in 1km to 10km lengths (midrange channel). Then link lengths sub categorized and in each category, optimum frequency is computed. With these sub optimum frequencies, sensors and base station can adaptively control their carrier frequencies based on link length and decrease network’s power consumptions. Finally Different Cooperative transmission schemes “Decode and Forward (DF)” and “Amplify and Forward (AF)”, are simulated in UWA wireless Sensor network with and without the new method. In receiver maximum ratio combiner (MRC) is used to combining received signals and making data estimations. Simulations show that the new method, called AFC cooperative UWA communication, can improve performance of underwater acoustic wireless sensor networks up to 40.14%.展开更多

In the recent research results, the path selection, power allocation, and relay protocols on relay networks are the most important factors to improve the system performance. However, the channel quality of the direct transmission path and the relaying path has an influential effect on the performance of relay networks. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a best relaying path selection(BRPS) scheme to obtain the path diversity to improve the system capacity and data rate for cooperative networks(CNs). Simulation results show that the more the relay nodes are selected, the lower the bit error rate(BER) is. The proposed BRPS scheme obtains a high concession between both BER and system capacity for CNs.展开更多

The cooperative communication in wireless sensor networks (WSN) gives us leverage to get the inherent advantages of its random node’s locations and the direction of the data flow. Depending on the channel conditions and the transmission distance, the number of cooperative nodes is selected, that participate in an energy efficient transmission/reception. Simulation results show that increasing the cooperative receive diversity, decreases the energy consumption per bit in cooperative communications. It has also been shown that the network backbone capacity can be increased by controlled displacement of antennas at base station at the expense of energy per bit.展开更多

In this paper, we propose different types of spectrums sensing and their own decisions depend on the probabilities that applied into fusion center, and how these probabilities’ techniques help to enhance the energy consumption of WSNs. In the same way, the importance of designing balanced distribution between the wireless sensors networks and their own sinks. This research also provides an overview of security issues in CR-WSN, especially in Spectrum Sensing Data Falsification (SSDF) attacks that enforces harmful effects on spectrum sensing and spectrum sharing. We adopt OR rule as four types of CRSN sensing protocolin greenhouses application by using Matlab and Netsim simulators. Our results show that the designing balanced wireless sensors and their sinks in greenhouses are very significant to decrease the energy, which is due to the traffic congestion in the sink range area. Furthermore, by applying OR rule has enhanced the energy consumption, and improved the sensors network lifetime compared to cognitive radio network.展开更多

文摘The existing physical-layer network coding(PNC) can be grouped into three generic schemes, which are XOR-based PNC,superposition-based PNC,and denoising-and-forward(DNFbased) PNC.Generally speaking,DNF-based PNC has better performance of rate pair region compared with the other two schemes when the transmission is symmetric. When the transmission is asymmetric, its performance is degraded severely.However,superposition-based PNC does not have that limitation even if its rate pair region performance is inferior to that of DNF-based PNC and XOR-based PNC.In this paper,we focus on the combined use of the two PNC schemes,superposition-based PNC and DNFbased PNC,and present a novel PNC scheme called joint superposition and DNF physical-layer network coding(JSDNF-based PNC) as well as the information theory analysis of the achievable rate pair region. At the same time,in the proposed scheme,an adaptive power allocation factor is introduced.By changing the power factor, the system can adapt its rate pair region flexibly. The numerical results show that the proposed scheme achieves the largest rate pair region when the rate difference of two source signals is very large. At the same time, the support on asymmetric transmission is also an important profit of the scheme.
文摘In this paper a new method to improve performance of cooperative underwater acoustic (UWA) sensor networks will be introduced. Simulations show that the new method, called AFC cooperative UWA communication, can improve performance of underwater acoustic wireless sensor networks up to 40.14%.

文摘This paper considers an underwater acoustic sensor network with one mobile surface node to collect data from multiple underwater nodes, where the mobile destination requests retransmission from each underwater node individually employing traditional automatic-repeat-request(ARQ) protocol. We propose a practical node cooperation(NC) protocol to enhance the collection efficiency, utilizing the fact that underwater nodes can overhear the transmission of others. To reduce the source level of underwater nodes, the underwater data collection area is divided into several sub-zones,and in each sub-zone,the mobile surface node adopting the NC protocol could switch adaptively between selective relay cooperation(SRC) and dynamic network coded cooperation(DNC) .The difference of SRC and DNC lies in whether or not the selected relay node combines the local data and the data overheard from undecoded node(s) to form network coded packets in the retransmission phase. The NC protocol could also be applied across the sub-zones due to the wiretap property. In addition,we investigate the effects of different mobile collection paths, collection area division and cooperative zone design for energy saving. The numerical results showthat the proposed NC protocol can effectively save energy compared with the traditional ARQ scheme.

文摘In future communications, cooperative communications with relay networks will be one of the most effective schemes to enlarge the coverage area and to boost the data rate. The proposed BRPS scheme obtains a high concession between both BER and system capacity for CNs.
文摘Energy efficiency and enhanced backbone capacity is obtained by exploiting the geometric orientation of cooperative nodes in wireless sensor network. It has also been shown that the network backbone capacity can be increased by controlled displacement of antennas at base station at the expense of energy per bit.
文摘Wireless sensors networks (WSNs) combined with cognitive radio have developed and solved the limited space of the frequency spectrum. Furthermore, by applying OR rule has enhanced the energy consumption, and improved the sensors network lifetime compared to cognitive radio network.
