[Method] Under the condition of higher soil fertility, different amounts of N-fertilizer were applied in the plots, and then the contents of total protein and its components, percentage of the component content to total protein content as well as the processing quality of grains of two strong-gluten wheat varieties (Linyou145 and Zhengmai9023) and two weak-gluten wheat varieties (Ningmai9 and Baofeng949) were determined. [Result] The contents of total protein and globulin, gliadin and glutenin were improved significantly with the increase of the N-fertilizer amount; but the content of albumin did not show remarkable increase; in addition, the percentage of each protein component was relative stable and did not increase significantly. Increase in the amount of N-fertilizer improved the sedimentation value, wet gluten content, loaf volume and loaf score, decreased the volume weight of grain. [Conclusion] This study provideed theoretical support for high-quality wheat production.展开更多
To understand the relationship between lodging resistance and chemical component contents in culms and leaf sheaths of rice, the physical strength and maximum bearing capacity of culm, and the contents and amounts of ...To understand the relationship between lodging resistance and chemical component contents in culms and leaf sheaths of rice, the physical strength and maximum bearing capacity of culm, and the contents and amounts of potassium (K) silicon (Si) and soluble sugars in culms and leaf sheaths were investigated using four japonica rice varieties with different lodging resistance characteristics during grain filling. There were significant differences in the total amounts of K, Si and soluble sugars in culms and leaf sheaths among the tested rice varieties. The difference in the total amount of Si was greater than that of K or soluble sugars. The physical strength and maximum bearing capacity of culm continuously decreased from heading to ripening, with a rapid decrease at the dough stage. However, the contents and total amounts of K and Si in culms and the Si content in leaf sheaths gradually increased and an accumulation of K and Si in culms was exhibited, whereas the content and total amount of K and the total amount of Si in leaf sheaths gradually decreased and an exportation of K and Si in leaf sheaths was presented. The physical strength was positively and significantly correlated with the total amounts of K and Si in culms during grain filling except that at the heading stage, the total amount of soluble sugars in culms at the heading and milky stages, the total amounts of Si and soluble sugars in leaf sheaths at the heading stage, the total amount of K in leaf sheaths at the heading and milky stages, and the maximum bearing capacity during grain filling. It is suggested that the lodging resistance of japonica rice would be improved by increasing the amount of soluble sugars in plants at the early filling stage, and enhancing the amount of Si in plants during grain filling through topdressing Si fertilizer at the early filling stage.展开更多

Feature analysis on images of the solution is conducted,which are captured from Pr/Nd extraction/separation field. H/S components in the HSI color space are selected as model inputs, so as to establish the least squares support vector machine(LSSVM) model for Nd(Pr) content,while the model parameters are determined with the GA algorithm. To improve the adaptability of the model,the adaptive iteration algorithm is used to correct parameters of the LSSVM model, on the basis of model correction strategy and new sample data. Using the field data collected from rare earth extraction production, predictive methods for component content and comparisons are given. The results indicate that the proposed method presents good adaptability and high prediction precision, so it is applicable to the fast detection of element content in the rare earth extraction.展开更多
Nine-steam-nine-bask is a traditional method for the processing of polygonatum cyrtonema Hua,which is a homology plant of medicine and food,but why is nine cycles of steam-bask needed is still not clear.This study aim...Nine-steam-nine-bask is a traditional method for the processing of polygonatum cyrtonema Hua,which is a homology plant of medicine and food,but why is nine cycles of steam-bask needed is still not clear.This study aims to investigate the changes of functional components caused by each processing cycle and optimize the best number of processing cycles for the preparation of polygonatum.It was found that the content of total polysaccharide decreased with the increase of processing cycles and stabled at about 5.2 g/100 g,which was reduced by 45.81%compared with raw polygonatum(10.899 g/100 g,p<0.05).However,the contents of saponins,phenols and flavonoids as well as the in vitro antioxidant activity of polygonatum showed an increasing trend,which had slight fluctuations after the fourth processing cycle.Besides,a total of 48 volatile components and 221 non-volatile components were identified by GC-MS and UPLC-Q Exactive MS/MS,respectively.Among them,2,3-butanediol was the major numb-taste component in polygonatum which could be eliminated by processing and 113 differential non-volatile components were screened.To sum up,the four processing cycles could be sufficient for edible and medicine without the need of nine-steam-nine-bask.展开更多
