This paper first demonstrates that the accuracy and efficiency of the method of numerical simulation often used is not very high in predicting the slow drift surge extreme responses of a compliant offshore structure. Next, the slow drift surge extreme responses of the structure are analyzed via the path integral solution racy and efficiency of the PIS (PIS) method, and the accumethod is found to be higher than those of the numerical simulation method. A compound PIS (CPIS) method is first proposed in this article to further improve the efficiency of the path integral solution method, and the accuracy and efficiency of the CPIS method is validated. 展开更多

Fingerprints Matching Based on the Integrated Template

Traditional fingerprints matching approaches are based on the minutiae and the texture characteristics. It is difficult for today's techniques to deal with the images captured by the solid-state fingerprint sensors because the sampling area of these sensors is very small and only portion of the fingerprint can be obtained. In this paper, a novel integrated template has been built using several images and combining the minutiae with the texture characteristics at the same time. By using a kind of Gabor filters (eight directions) on the region around the reliable minutiae, local texture of each minutia termed as minutiacode is extracted. Further, a real-time matching algorithm using the integrated template is presented. The output is determined by the weight factor of the compound matching. Finally, experimental results show that this system performs well in reducing false reject rate (FRR). 展开更多

Objective To investigate the integral dissolution model based on biological potency in order to evaluate the dissolution of Compound Chinese materia medica(CCMM) in vitro. Methods The contents of paeoniflorin, phillyrin, ginsenoside Rg1, and adenosine of ten batches of Compound Biejia Ruangan Tablet(CBRT) were determined at different times. The self-defined weighting coefficient based on the contents has been created to establish the integral dissolution model. In addition, the biological potency of CBRT was measured by MTT assay. Then, the f2 similar factor was used to evaluate the similarity of the batches. Results Compared with batch a, some batches’ f2 values of paeoniflorin and adenosine were less than 50, while f2 values of ginsenoside Rg1, phillyrin, and integral component were more than 50. Likewise, ginsenoside Rg1, phillyrin, and integral component were all in good correlation with biological dissolution. Conclusion The results of the integral dissolution based on biological test of CBRT demonstrate that the bioassay method may be a promising supplement for its quality evaluation. 展开更多
