The teaching mode of the Computer Composition Principles includes theoretical and practical teaching.At present,there is a problem of inconsistency in the teaching content of the two methods in our school.To this end,this paper conducts online and offline hybrid teaching based on the learning platform and the virtual simulation experiment platform,and cleverly applies ideological and political elements to theoretical and practical teaching to practice ideological and political education.Finally,the combination of theoretical and practical teaching modes can further help students firmly grasp the core knowledge points and improve the teaching quality and level of this course.

The Reform and Practice of Bilingual Teaching in Computer Courses

Since China has joined the WTO and the speed of globalization in our country.The professionals with both up to date technological knowledge and good English are needed urgently.It has been shown that bilingual teaching in IT fields is effect ways of cultivating IT professionals.In this paper,the necessity of bilingual teaching in IT fields is discussed and some of the methods in our practices are also introduced.The satisfactory results of the bilingual teaching in computer courses at our school have been obtained.

Evaluating the feasibility and preliminary effects of an online compassion training program for nursing students:A pilot randomized controlled trial

Objectives:This study aimed to assess the feasibility of an online compassion training program for nursing students and preliminarily investigate its effects on mindfulness,self-compassion,and stress reduction.Methods:This study employed a randomized controlled trial design.Second-year students from a nursing college in Guangzhou,China,were recruited as research participants in August 2023.The intervention group participated in an 8-week online compassion training program via the WeChat platform,comprising three stages:mindfulness(weeks 1e2),self-compassion(weeks 3e5),and compassion for others(weeks 6 e8).Each stage included four activities:psychoeducation,mindfulness practice,weekly diary,and emotional support.Program feasibility was assessed through recruitment and retention rates,program engagement,and participant acceptability.Program effectiveness was measured with the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale,Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form,and Perceived Stress Scale.Results:A total of 28 students completed the study(13 in the intervention group,15 in the control group).The recruitment rate was 36.46%,with a high retention rate of 93.3%.Participants demonstrated high engagement:69.2%accessed learning materials every 1e2 days,93.3%practiced mindfulness at least weekly,with an average of 4.69 diary entries submitted per person and 23.30 WeChat interactions with instructors.Regarding acceptability,all participants expressed satisfaction with the program,with 92.4%finding it“very helpful”or“extremely helpful.”In terms of intervention effects,the intervention group showed a significant increase in mindfulness levels from pre-intervention(51.54±10.93)to postintervention(62.46±13.58)(P<0.05),while no significant change was observed in the control group.Although there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in post-intervention self-compassion and perceived stress levels,the intervention group showed positive trends:selfcompassion levels increased(35.85±8.60 vs.40.85±5.54),and perceived stress levels slightly decreased(44.77±8.65 vs.42.00±5.77).Conclusions:This pilot study demonstrated the feasibility of an online compassion training program for nursing students and suggested its potential effectiveness in enhancing mindfulness,self-compassion,and stress reduction.Despite limitations such as small sample size and lack of long-term follow-up,preliminary evidence indicates promising prospects for integrating such training into nursing education.Further research is warranted to confirm thesefindings and assess the sustained impact of this approach on nursing education and practice.

Challenges and Teaching Reform Strategies in Vocational College Engineering Training Courses

With the rapid development of vocational education,engineering training has become a crucial course for cultivating highly skilled technical professionals,highlighting its importance.However,vocational college engineering training courses still face numerous challenges during the actual teaching process,which affect the effectiveness of course teaching and the enhancement of students’engineering competence.This article thoroughly analyzes the main problems existing in current engineering training course teaching,focusing on four aspects:students’cognitive differences,inadequate course development,poor course adaptability,and limited teaching resources.Based on this analysis and previous research findings,targeted strategies are proposed,including enhancing students’course cognition,clarifying course positioning,improving course adaptability,and optimizing the allocation of teaching resources.Furthermore,this article preliminarily verifies the effectiveness of some reform strategies through a small-scale teaching experiment.This study aims to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for enhancing the teaching quality of vocational college engineering training courses.

Building a Smart Management System for the Field Training Course at the Faculty of Specific Education-Mansoura University

Field training is the backbone of the teacher-preparation process.Its importance stems from the goals that colleges of education aim to achieve,which include bridging the gap between theory and practice and aligning with contemporary educational trends during teacher training.Currently,trainee students attendance in field training is recordedmanually through signatures on attendance sheets.However,thismethod is prone to impersonation,time wastage,and misplacement.Additionally,traditional methods of evaluating trainee students are often susceptible to human errors during the evaluation and scoring processes.Field training also lacks modern technology that the supervisor can use in case of his absence from school to monitor the trainee students’implementation of the required activities and tasks.These shortcomings do not meet the needs of the digital era that universities are currently experiencing.As a result,this paper presents a smart management system for field training based on Internet of Things(IoT)and mobile technology.It includes three subsystems:attendance,monitoring,and evaluation.The attendance subsystem uses an R307 fingerprint sensor to record trainee students’attendance.The Arduino Nano microcontroller transmits attendance data to the proposed Android application via an ESP-12F Wi-Fi module,which then forwards it to the Firebase database for storage.The monitoring subsystem utilizes Global Positioning System(GPS)technology to continually track trainee students’locations,ensuring they remain at the school during training.It also enables remote communication between trainee students and supervisors via audio,video,or text by integrating video call and chat technologies.The evaluation subsystem is based on three items:an online exam,attendance,and implementation of required activities and tasks.Experimental results have demonstrated the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed management system in recording attendance,as well as in monitoring and evaluating trainee students during field traiing.

Research on the PDSIPE Teaching Mode for English Teaching in Applied Undergraduate Colleges

PDSIPE(Planning,Design,Scene,Implementation,Product,Evaluation)is the teaching concept and teaching operation mode implemented by Professor Jungang Duo,which is promoted and tested in Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics since 2022.The teaching mode meets the needs of application-oriented professional personnel training,and is compatible with local undergraduate colleges in terms of educational positioning,development strategic objectives,and teaching reform.It plays an important role in promoting the teaching reform of application-oriented undergraduate colleges,which is discussed from three aspects:teaching idea,practical operation,and overall evaluation mechanism.

A Study on the Application of Audible Thinking Combined with Case Teaching Method in the Teaching of Nursing Room Visits for Trained Nurses

Objective:To investigate the effect of using audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing checkups for regulation nurses.Methods:The period was April 2023–April 2024,and a randomized controlled group study was carried out in which 76 regulation nurses in our hospital were randomly divided into a research group and a control group,with 38 regulation nurses in each group.The control group used conventional teaching methods,and the research group used audible thinking combined with the case teaching method,comparing the two groups’independent learning ability scores,assessment scores,and teaching satisfaction.Results:Independent learning ability score:after teaching,the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);Assessment results:the research group was considerably higher than the control group(P<0.05);Teaching satisfaction:the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing room visits for trained nurses can improve independent learning ability and assessment results and increase teaching satisfaction.

Reform of Hospitality English Teaching Based on the Educational Concept of Outcome-Based Education(OBE)

The Outcome-Based Education(OBE)educational concept,proposed by renowned American educator Spady,aims to guide students in mastering learning laws and ultimately achieving expected learning outcomes.The application of OBE educational concept in Hospitality English curriculum not only can effectively enhance the learning effect but also promote the reform of the Hospitality English curriculum,thus improving students’learning enthusiasm.Therefore,taking the Hospitality English curriculum as an example,this paper points out the existing problems in the teaching of this course and suggests the reform measures based on the OBE teaching concept,hoping to provide guidelines for related educational work.

Analysis of the Feedback on Teacher Training in an Affiliated Hospital in Shaanxi Province

Objective:This article aims to deeply analyze the feedback on teacher training in an affiliated hospital,so as to clarify the current needs and situation of teacher training and provide a scientific basis for further optimizing the teacher training system.Methods:The current situation and needs of teacher training in the affiliated hospital were collected by designing and distributing Tomato Form questionnaires on the DingTalk platform.The questionnaire adopted a percent-point system,all of which were indeterminate multiple-choice questions.Results:The average age of the clinical teachers participating in the survey was 40.44±7.85 years old,with an average teaching length of 4–10 years.The results showed that 60.20%of teachers think that the amount of teacher training in an affiliated hospital is sufficient;91.10%of teachers think that the factors affecting training conflict with working hours;97.96%of teachers believe that the training time has an impact on the training effect;81.63%of teachers prefer online training;51.53%of teachers tend to arrange training time on working days;33.16%of teachers tend to train once a month;17.78%of teachers prefer to receive training on clinical theoretical courses and practical teaching norms and skills content.Conclusion:Based on the above survey results,we propose to build a comprehensive management mechanism for teacher training,including improving the access,training,and assessment mechanism for clinical teachers,and adjusting and optimizing the training program according to actual needs.At the same time,an effective communication platform should be built to promote the deep integration of teaching and practice and enhance social recognition,so as to comprehensively improve the teaching quality and medical service of the hospital.

A Study on the Work Process-Based Practical Training Model for Basic Nursing Skills in Vocational Colleges

Objective:To explore and analyze the work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges and its implementation effects.Methods:A total of 82 nursing students from our school were selected for the study,which was conducted from April 2023 to April 2024.Using a random number table method,the students were divided into an observation group and a control group,each with 41 students.The control group received conventional practical training teaching,while the observation group followed the work process-based practical training model for basic nursing skills.The assessment scores and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:The comparison of assessment scores showed that the observation group performed significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of teaching satisfaction also indicated that the observation group had significantly higher satisfaction than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges can improve students’assessment scores and enhance teaching satisfaction,demonstrating its value for wider application.
