What is Mind,What is Consciousness,and Where This Resides

The main purpose of this paper is to respond to the questions what is mind and consciousness and where this resides.The answers are based on the frontline Informational Model of Human Body and Living Structures(IMHBLS),which shows that mind and consciousness can be described by the activity of the Informational System of the Human Body and Living Structures(ISHBLS),consisting of seven informational components,each of them with specific activity and functions,inter-correlated to support the immaterial/informational manifestation of the body expressed by mind and consciousness.The basic concept of matter-related and virtual information results as a consequence of the operability of the physics,chemistry,biologic,or mathematics laws,which actually act as informational operators,such processes are informationally driven and manifested finally as a“media-like functions”of mind and consciousness,on the“screen/display”of prefrontal cortex.The mind is therefore described as the capacity of every individual to access the data field of own life experience,where the thought acts as an informational operator,which can activate the required information from internal/external reality.Consciousness is the result of the info-representation of the explored reality,accumulated by the momentary connection,and compared/combined with the life experience,serving as judgment reference/criteria.The question is discussed in relation with the localization of consciousness,showing that this resides in the brain,as a result of the activity of ISHBLS.The discussion on the experimental evidences concerning the minimal basic components necessary and sufficient to sustain consciousness,compared with the results of the informational model,indicates the cortico-thalamus axis,in a full agreement each other.One of the basic findings is that the activation of consciousness is operated in two steps,one consisting in a feed-forward reception and another in feedback perception for recognition of the info-significance,which is fully supported by the recently reported experimental results.The phenomena of intuition,inspiration,premonition,“deja vue”,retrocausality,and intentionality are discussed.This model unifies the eastern and western concepts/models on consciousness and mind,explaining the energetic Yung/Yin Chinese model by YES/NO-informational Bit-type behavior,the Plato’s ideas/forms by“information”concept as a participating component of reality,Aristotle’s materialist view with matter structuration(assisted by information),and archaic model of the seven“chakras”at human,as vital informational centers connected with the body.

The Claimed Revolution to Understand Consciousness:Information Plays the Driving/Essential Role for the Structuration and Behavior of the Living Organisms

A prestigious conference claimed recently a revolution in neuroscience to understand consciousness.In this paper it is shown that this revolution already came,revealing the determinant role of information for human and living structures,both for their structuration and behavior,explaining consciousness at human as the result of the activity of the Informational System of Human and Living Structures.For this,it is emphasized and discussed the informational structure of the eukaryotic cell,the basic/representative composing unit of the multicellular body of human,animals,and plants,showing that the composition and functions of the informational system are basically similar with that of human.To reveal the driving role of informational mechanisms in human and subhuman organisms,it is introduced the concept of matter-related information,showing that information can be hidden/“embodied”or released/“disembodied”in or from the elemental micro/macro components of the body,during the multiple chain/cascade interactions including transduction processes.It is shown that such interactions are initiated from two main categories of informational sources:implicit(genetic)and explicit(external/internal)sources,the first category leading to structuration of the body and the second the reactive behavior.Consciousness in human and subhuman organisms,expressed by two corresponding informational relations,is the result of the release of information by the mind,acting as an informational operator/device,the development degree of mind and consciousness depending on the complexity degree and adaptation.An analogy of this Informational Model of Human and Living Structures(IMHLS)with the ancient model of chakras is highlighted,showing that these models support each other,applied with beneficial effects in Reiki technique and music-based cognitive multi-task therapy for neuro-rehabilitation.

“文学自觉”这一命题含义模糊,通过对《文心雕龙》上篇的阐发可以解决“文学自觉”含义的泛化。《文心雕龙》上篇以“大文学观”为基础,修正了“纯文学”视野对文学的狭窄定义。上篇的篇目呈现层次分明的“文体序列”,可以衡量文章的“自觉”程度,规定了文章书写的广度、深度和表达的自由度。上篇的结构体现以文章为中心的“阐释空间”,通过理想作者和理想读者的建构来确立文章的“正体”,形成一套独特的“文学自觉”标准。

Byuons, Quantum Information Channel, Consciousness and Universe

The physics of consciousness and universal mind is shown on the base of theory of byuons, the theory of “life’ of special unobservable discrete objects—byuons from which the surrounding space and the world of elementary particles are formed. An essential distinction of that theory from the modern models in the classical and quantum field theories is that the potentials of physical fields (gravitational, electromagnetic, asf.) gain exactly fixable, measurable values. Basic axioms and some conclusions of this theory are discussed. The theory of byuons predicts the existence of a new force and a new quantum information channel in nature. All objects of the Universe are shown to be united into the unique information field due to the huge interval of uncertainty in the coordinate (Δx = L = 1028 cm) of objects 4b (object formed during four-contact byuon-byuon interaction ( mc24b = 33 eV)) forming the surrounding physical space. It is a new quantum information channel.

Consciousness and Near-Death Experiences: Access to a Known World

Near-death or death-like experiences are a natural, albeit uncommon, phenomenon due to the temporary and reversible decoupling or dissociation of the Psychosoma from its material counterpart, the physical body. Indeed, these “psychophysical events” are fundamental in clinical conditions that lead to unconsciousness in individuals declared clinically dead or who have come very close to physical death. In addition, Consciousness is fundamental in the occurrence of these experiences. In fact, Consciousness, a higher order field, is the entity that vibrationally dissociates from the physical body and is also the protagonist of the entire chain of events of near-death experiences, as well as out-of-body experiences. Undoubtedly, matter is a creation of the Universal Intelligent Principle and the primary cause of all things. Thus, Consciousness is the basis of all existence, of primordial reality. Vehicle of manifestation of Consciousness, the Psychosoma is a morphogenetic, vaporous, translucent, luminous body which is also made up of all organs, including the immaterial brain [mind] and the other electromagnetic systems of the human body. The Psychosoma is, therefore, the connection bridge between Consciousness, a complex subtle field, non-electromagnetic, responsible for all phenomena of near-death experiences in connection with the dense field of gross matter, the physical body. For example, the Consciousness is the one who sees, feels pain and welcomes its family members on the verge of death during the near-death experience in any vibrational dimension, even being perceived by the Psychosoma. Here it is important to remember that dimension is not a place. It’s a vibration. It’s a frequency. The main objective of this article is to approach innovative and comprehensive concepts about the role of Consciousness in near-death experiences as well as to try to overcome limiting paradigms that prevents the progress of science. In addition, concepts based on quantum holography and information theory were raised here. Following this reasoning, I start with the formulation of a hypothesis about the role of Consciousness in near-death and out-of-body experiences. Thus, we propose a new and unique approach to Consciousness in order to investigate the role of Mind and its relationship with life and death. In this way, we intend to introduce new concepts for discussion and not give the last word to the currently unanswered questions of Consciousness regarding its interaction with the environment;with death and life and finally with respect to its origin. Finally, a selective bibliographic research was carried out in English language databases with the purpose of making the study design compatible, which presents specific concepts of a subject that had been little studied until then.

From Biological Rhythms to the Default Mode Network: What Lies beneath the Tip of the Iceberg of Mind?

Our conscious day-to-day self is often described as the “tip of the iceberg” of a much greater cognitive system. The edge of the water divides the phenomenal self from the sub/unconscious underlying it. Similar to an iceberg, the unconscious activity below the water vastly outweighs the conscious activity above it. What exactly lies beneath the surface of this murky water is a tantalizing topic of research and theory. The current research predominantly focuses on the physiology of the brain and the default mode network has been identified as an intrinsic mode of functioning. It is well known that autonomic nervous system sympathovagal balance orchestrated by the central autonomic network is strongly associated with modulation of cardiac, respiratory rate and other visceral physiological activity. In this article, we use existing research and a novel theory to tie together the default mode network, the autonomic nervous system, and non-neural physiology to describe a hypothesis on a greater biological system from which intrinsic brain activity may be founded. This hypothesis is that intrinsic brain activity and connectivities are significantly founded on activity of the body. We review how cardiorespiratory and other rhythms and electrical activity of the body may modulate and even underlie fundamental activity of the human brain and ultimately the mind. A more holistic biological system that could interface the brain and body via mechanisms such as neurovascular coupling would more accurately describe the nature of neural systems. Greater knowledge on the association and interface of brain and body via isomorphic physiologic counterparts to mind may carry profound implications in understanding intrinsic activity of the brain, consciousness, mind, and mental illness.

The Mind-Brain Problem Bose-Einstein Statistics, Temperature, Heat, Entropy God and Other Elementary Particles

The purpose of this research is to apply the Einstein’s principle of relativity to solve the mind-brain problem and to generate all Standard Model Particle masses. Our approach is somewhat analogous to the dualistic idea of Descartes. Instead of a pineal gland, wherein the brain interacts with the mind, we propose during the developmental stages of the human fetus the tiny brain begins to communicate with the smallest structures of spacetime. This interaction occurs as the fetus brain begins to emit thermodynamic low heat energies, which are then absorbed into the smallest structures of spacetime saturating the interstices of the fetus brain. Think of these heat-energies like Morse code instructions. Since these kinds of interaction involve spacetime, with brain matter-energy, and that our main guiding principle is that of relativity, our research resulted in a general relativistic wave equation, wherein the n-valued heat-energies emitted by the brain-field-matrix Bμv, is identified as the energy momentum tensor of general relativity. The spacetime mind-matrix (Mμv) is likewise identified as the Riemannian curvature matrix. Together they form a general relativistic expression given by: Mμv +Pμv M=cBμv. Here c represents the combined general relativistic constants. By detaching the energy momentum tensor Bμv from the general relativistic wave equation, converting it to an operator, and then combining the time component with the Bose-Einstein equation, resulted in a brain temperature function capable of calculating precise heat-energies emitted by the brain during the formation of the fetus mind. As the fetus brain becomes more complex, it further organizes the mind. At some point self-aware consciousness is evoked within the spacetime mind. The same equation (relabeled to distinguish it from the mind-brain equation) can be applied to generate all Standard Model Particle masses.

人工智能看智慧

通常,智慧是社会科学和人文领域讨论的内容,智能是物质科学和生命科学讨论的内容。显然,智能并不是人的精神世界的全部,人更有智慧。智慧和人的自我意识、群体意识有着更紧密的联系。智慧也需要物质作为载体,但不以控物为目的。智能则不然,智能以控物和改变物质世界为目的。智能机器仅仅是人类认知的工具,不必像人那样具有精神世界,不具有意识欲望、爱恨情仇,也没有伦理道德和信仰。智能脱离了人的意识、欲望、情感和信仰,拓展到体外存在,成为人工智能,成为人造工具和机器,长于思维,长于控物,长于具身行为,长于一以贯之的工具性。自操控的认知机器服从人赋予它的使命,以提高人类社会的生产能力,发展经济,这才是人类最需要的,也正是人类的智慧所在。机器无需达到、也不可能达到人之为人的那部分智慧。

延展心智:脑是实现心智的唯一基础吗?

当今时代,人类正处于科学技术试图催生新文明的前夜。互联网、计算机和智能手机等科技将人类的认知能力延伸到机器之中,甚至改变了人类的情感和意识体验,使得人们逐渐接受“心理生活并不局限于脑”这样一种信念。这引发了人们对“延展心智”问题的关注。延展心智曾经主张,记忆、思维、情绪和情感等心理过程并非局限于有机体的脑或中枢神经系统。相反,在某些条件下,有机体非神经部分的身体、身体之外的环境和世界都是实现心智的有效成分,发挥了构成性的功用。早期的延展心智研究集中于认知过程的探讨,经历了三波浪潮;后来又扩展到延展情感,探讨了情绪和情感的延展属性。近期,意识体验是否可延展引发了人们的关注。如果认知、情感和意识体验都可超越个体的生物疆界,包含实现心智过程的外部资源,那么,心理生活可能就不再囿于头颅和皮肤,脑也并非实现心理生活的唯一器官。实际上,延展心智依然是建立在具身认知的理论之上,关键是如何看待“身体”的主动作用。这对于我们重新认识心理生活的本质具有重要启发意义。

人工智能时代教师的教育信仰:危机、症结与重构

教育信仰是教师的精神支撑和心灵家园,是教师展开教育教学活动的内生动力,科学、崇高的教育信仰是教师的核心素养。然而,人工智能在教育领域中的广泛应用使得教师的教育信仰受到了前所未有的挑战,表现为教师知识教育信仰的动摇、价值引领信仰的迷失、情境建构信仰的遮蔽以及生命关怀信仰的弱化。其背后的症结在于教师的“平庸之恶”,使得教师的教育理想工具化、教育思维规训化、教育心灵的单向度以及专业发展片面化。为此,人工智能时代教师应从秉持正确的知识观、坚守教育的人文精神、彰显教师的主体地位、回归教师的精神家园、提升教师的反思批判意识等方面出发,对自我的教育信仰加以重构。

Reiki as a Communication Process:Between Philosophic Concepts and Experimental Application

The main purpose of this paper is to analyze and provide reliable solutions to the Reiki application technique,starting from the fundamental principles expressed by the Reiki origin philosophy,which are proved to be in accordance with the Informational Model of Human and Living Structures(IMHLS).This model reveals the following main fundamental features of the living organisms:(i)On the entire scale of evolution and organization,from the eukaryotic cell-the composing unit of human,plants,animals to human,the living organisms show a similar informational structure,defined as Informational System of Human and Living Structure(ISHLS);(ii)this informational system is organized in seven informational components,three of them assuring the structuration/restructuration/reproduction and maintenance of the body itself,and the other four the connection with external/inner reality for adaptation;(iii)the neuro-connections between brain and body of the informational components of the ISHLS correspond with the activity of“Chakras”of the ancient empirical model as vital centers of human;(iv)the activity of the ISHLS is reflected in mind by cognitive centers,explaining consciousness.The comparison between the informational results of the IMHLS,with the philosophic Reiki origin concepts,sustains the application of Reiki technique,but improves its understanding and right application by using new,modern concepts developed by the informational model,in accordance not only with their ancient,empirical expression,but much more than that,with actual scientific knowledge on this issue nowadays,concerning information and info-transferring/communication stream in the living bodies.The successful application and effective results of this new version allow to consider this as Ro-Reiki version,just to recognize the essential Romanian contribution to this improvement,concerning the implication and effectiveness of information and the info-communication mechanisms into the human and living organisms,explained in scientific terms of information and psycho-somatic therapy effects.

论黑格尔《精神现象学》中自我意识发展的内在逻辑动力

本文的主题是解读黑格尔《精神现象学》自我意识章的内在逻辑进展,表明自我意识是一个从低级到高级的必然过程,而这一必然过程的内在动力则是隐含在每个意识形态中的努斯精神。自我意识自身进展的最初的逻辑动力就是“欲望一般”。任何欲望都是个体为了活下去而产生的“冲动”,它构成了自我意识的逻辑进程最初的内在动力。在这种欲望冲动的无限进展中,自我意识进入第二阶段即生命本身。生命作为这一阶段的动力将自我意识推向了普遍性,体现为第三阶段的动力即“类”。类就把自我意识的逻辑动力从生物学的层次提升到了精神的层次,并进入了历史。在自我意识章呈现出自我意识对其他自我意识的独立与依赖、生死斗争以及由此形成的主奴关系和互相承认,按照个别、特殊和普遍的逻辑层次,最终为普遍理性的形成奠定了基础。

张载心性论思想之“合性与知觉”——以朱熹和牟宗三的不同解读为引

对张载“合性与知觉”心性论思想的诸多解读中,朱熹和牟宗三的观点具有代表性。以两位对“合性与知觉,有心之名”的不同解读为引,可以反观张载心性论思想之全貌:张载以“天”“道”“性”“心”的思想脉络为基准,用“合性与知觉,有心之名”对“心”进行界定,认为“知觉”上接“性”方以成“心”。这符合其思想体系中“太虚”本体的动态一贯之路,突出了人的道德主体性,完成了“修其本以胜之”的历史使命。具有双向动态义的“合”将“性”“知觉”和“心”统一起来,既为格物穷理留有顺取之路,又为明觉经察留有逆觉体证之路,形成了宋明理学心性论思想发展内在理路的巨大张力。

牟宗三对康德之误读举要(之四)——关于自我及“心”

本文为作者对牟宗三的康德研究进行清理并指出其误读的系列文章之四,主要围绕三个问题,一个是牟宗三对康德“自我意识”或“心”的概念的误读,指出牟宗三出于中国哲学无视个人反思能力和独立人格的立场,否认康德经验自我意识的实在性,抽掉了康德先验自我的主体能动作用而归结为仅仅是价值实体;其二是牟宗三所设计的良知的“自我坎陷”并不具有康德和黑格尔的自我限制和自我否定的意义,而只是在既定前提之下的权宜之计,无法开出科学理性和科学精神,且与中国古代儒家中开出法家的“儒表法里”划不清界限;其三是牟宗三把康德的自由和自律理解为实体性的东西,并试图用中国哲学的自然天理和道德情感来取代其地位,完全撇开了康德的先验主义和批判理性的基本立场,漏掉了西方理性精神的自我超越的自由意志这一精髓。误读的根本症结在于固守中国传统心性之学的非理性和独断立场,而对异质文化缺乏同情的理解,值得中国学者深刻反思。

心智觉知训练对乳腺癌化疗患者自我效能、负性情绪及认知功能的影响

目的探讨心智觉知训练对乳腺癌化疗患者自我效能、负性情绪及认知功能的影响。方法选取300例乳腺癌化疗患者,根据干预方法的不同分为观察组和对照组,每组150例。对照组患者化疗期间接受常规护理干预,观察组患者在此基础上联合心智觉知训练,干预时间均为12周,比较两组患者干预前后自我效能、负性情绪、认知功能及生活质量的变化。结果干预前,两组患者自我效能、蒙特利尔认知评估(MoCA)量表、焦虑自评量表(SAS)、抑郁自评量表(SDS)评分,以及36项健康调查简表(SF-36)量表各维度评分比较,差异均无统计学意义(P﹥0.05)。干预后,两组患者自我效能、MoCA评分和SF-36量表各维度评分均明显高于本组干预前,SAS、SDS评分均明显低于本组干预前,差异均有统计学意义(P﹤0.01);且观察组患者自我效能、MoCA评分和SF-36量表各维度评分均明显高于对照组患者,SAS、SDS评分均明显低于对照组患者,差异均有统计学意义(P﹤0.01)。结论心智觉知训练可有效提高乳腺癌化疗患者自我效能,减轻患者化疗期间焦虑、抑郁情绪,改善患者的认知功能,提高患者的生活质量。

“生活世界”与“生活-世界”——一种中国哲学本体诠释的可能性

本文论述了胡塞尔现象学中作为科学奠基的“生活世界”概念,把它放在中国哲学的传统加以观照,试图对其进行一种新的本体诠释,由此拓展对“生活世界”的理解。

“心意传承”与“模型传承”——文化景观中非物质文化要素保护的日本模式借鉴

文化景观构成要素中,非物质文化要素占据很大比重。日本非物质文化遗产保护发展相对完善。基于相关文献的梳理和对比分析,厘清了"心意传承"和"模型传承"2种对立并存的非物质文化遗产保护模式的源起及内涵。前者与地方社会日常生活紧密相连,强调传承过程中"心意"的重要性;后者则主要针对一些已经从日常生活中分离而独立为技术或艺术的保护,强调形式的传承。前者较为排斥外界人士的干预,后者则通常依托于政策和法律制度得以保存。两者对于非物质文化遗产保护均有积极意义。2种保护视角也为我国文化景观非物质文化要素的保护提供了一些启示。

心智游移:现象、机制及意义

心智游移是一种常见的非自主内源性意识体验,是意识流的重要组成部分,它的存在提示非感官意识在人类意识经验中的重要地位,以及持续进行的无意识加工对个体生存可能具有的重要意义,对心智游移的研究是心理学和认知神经科学领域内新兴的热点课题。本文重点回顾了关于心智游移的体验内容、与情绪的关系及其相关神经活动方面的研究成果,在此基础上探讨了心智游移的发生机制及适应性功能。文章最后总结了目前心智游移研究中存在的定义不清、研究策略和方法过于局限以及研究内容上存在的问题,并提出了该领域未来的研究方向以及应用价值。
