From Traditional Agriculture to Landscape Agriculture——About the Aesthetics in the Construction of New Socialist Countryside

Characteristics of traditional agriculture were analyzed from the perspective of history and culture,by comparing modern agriculture and traditional culture,it was proposed that modern agriculture focuses more on landscape,the main contents and era features of landscape agriculture were elaborated as well as the significance of constructing new socialist countryside,and relevant suggestions were proposed for building new land-scape countryside.

Overview of Researches on Rural Industrial Development in China's New Socialist Countryside Construction

From the perspective of rural industrial development, this paper summed up representative research results of China's new countryside construction, including approval of criteria for classification of rural industrial structure, definition and scope of rural industrial development, introduction and application of industrial development theory, existing problems, causes and countermeasures of three times of industrial development in rural areas, and experience of foreign rural industrial development model. Among these researches, most researches are general and narrow about achievements in rural industrial development, while the causes are little touched upon. In future, it is expected that the research on rural industrial development in new socialist countryside construction will be deepened and specified.

Reconstruction of Village Administration Mode in Building New Socialist Countryside

Firstly, definition of village administration is introduced. Then, through analysis of history, complexity and innovation characteristics of village administration, it points out that village administration plays a significant role in the reform of grass-roots government. Based on these, existing problems in village administration mode are discussed. It is believed that the administration subject (government), object (farmers), and administration measures have potential to explore. Finally, suggestions are put forward from perfecting village autonomy, role orientation of grass-roots government, and simplifying grass-roots government organs.

Application of GIS in New Socialist Countryside Construction

Survey and research of new socialist countryside construction in Hebei Province are favorable for determining approaches and construction mode of new socialist countryside in other areas,and favorable for advancing the urban and rural integration in Hebei Province. With the aid of GIS technology,it is able to create spatial information database,correlate with rural statistical data and spatial information. Then,in the form of thematic map,it can visually indicate current situations of rural economy,and existing problems of development. Finally,it is expected to promote rural information construction and guide new countryside planning,to facilitate inquiry and search of information,and to provide supporting decisions for new socialist countryside construction.

Taking Haotang Village in Xinyang City of Henan Province as an example,this paper analyzed experience of this village in development of new socialist countryside construction. Predicament and Countermeasures of County Economic Development in the Context of New Socialist Countryside Construction

From the perspective of building new socialist countryside, this paper analyses the interactive and mutually reinforcing internal relationship between construction of new socialist countryside and the development of county economy as follows: building new socialist countryside is a significant opportunity and a sturdy base for the development of county economy; the development of county economy is an effective approach and mighty support for construction of new socialist countryside. Bottleneck of Farmers' Quality in New Socialist Countryside Construction and Countermeasures

We analyzed problems of farmers' quality in the new socialist countryside construction,including low educational level,poor specialized skills,and low ideological and ethical quality.These problems become bottleneck of the socialist countryside construction.In view of these problems,we put forward following countermeasures:speeding up urbanization development,consolidating rural basic education,strengthening rural vocational education,and developing new approaches to improve farmers' ideological and ethical quality.

The Work of Instructors for New Socialist Countryside Construction

To meet the wishes and demands of the majority of farmers,it is necessary to steadily build a new socialist countryside,and actively promote urban-rural integration. With the guidance for new countryside construction as an opportunity,this paper studies and explores the working practice of new countryside construction instructors sent by Longyang Agricultural Technique Extension Station for various village committees( or offices) during 2007- 2013. According to our field survey,we analyzed current situations and existing problems in the new socialist countryside construction of Hebei Province. Based on these,we put forward our suggestions: put the government and farmers in correct place; improve farmers' quality and educational level; implement the new socialist countryside construction under the guidance of overall rural plan and combining natural and economic conditions of rural areas; and ensure continuous and long-term work.
