The characteristics of drought in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region(Xinjiang),China have changed due to changes in the spatiotemporal patterns of temperature and precipitation,however,the effects of temperature and pre...The characteristics of drought in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region(Xinjiang),China have changed due to changes in the spatiotemporal patterns of temperature and precipitation,however,the effects of temperature and precipitation—the two most important factors influencing drought—have not yet been thoroughly explored in this region.In this study,we first calculated the standard precipitation evapotranspiration index(SPEI)in Xinjiang from 1980 to 2020 based on the monthly precipitation and monthly average temperature.Then the spatiotemporal characteristics of temperature,precipitation,and drought in Xinjiang from 1980 to 2020 were analyzed using the Theil-Sen median trend analysis method and Mann-Kendall test.A series of SPEI-based scenario-setting experiments by combining the observed and detrended climatic factors were utilized to quantify the effects of individual climatic factor(i.e.,temperature and precipitation).The results revealed that both temperature and precipitation had experienced increasing trends at most meteorological stations in Xinjiang from 1980 to 2020,especially the spring temperature and winter precipitation.Due to the influence of temperature,trends of intensifying drought have been observed at spring,summer,autumn,and annual scales.In addition,the drought trends in southern Xinjiang were more notable than those in northern Xinjiang.From 1980 to 2020,temperature trends exacerbated drought trends,but precipitation trends alleviated drought trends in Xinjiang.Most meteorological stations in Xinjiang exhibited temperature-dominated drought trend except in winter;in winter,most stations exhibited precipitation-dominated wetting trend.The findings of this study highlight the importance of the impact of temperature on drought in Xinjiang and deepen the understanding of the factors influencing drought.展开更多

In this paper,Set Pair Analysis( SPA) method is proposed to calculate the contribution rate of PM2.5in Dongguan City. Due to geographic,meteorological factors and the low concentration of air pollutants in Qingxi area,the PM2.5in this place is mainly contributed by the regional transport of air pollutants from other inside areas of Dongguan,and less affected by the outside of Dongguan. So the concentration of PM2.5in Qingxi area can reflect the Dongguan's basic background concentration of PM2.5. On the basis of the basic background concentration,firstly the concentration of each pollutant components is divided into the internal part and the mixed part. Secondly using the source apportionment samples of five monitoring sites in Dongguan we can respectively construct a sample set A and an evaluation set B. Thirdly the SPA is operated onto the mixed part in terms of set B.At last the connection degree between the concentration of each pollutant components and external source and internal source will be calculated,that is the contribution rate. The research reveals that the contribution rate of internal source and external source of PM2.5in Dongguan City is 83%and 17% respectively,which roughly met expectations. This method is simple and effective and it can provide a reference for the government taking reduction measures to control PM2.5pollutants emission.展开更多

A large majority of Kenyans still rely on traditional fuels to meet their domestic cooking needs. The demand for traditional biomass is therefore likely to increase in the coming decades as long as they remain the mos...A large majority of Kenyans still rely on traditional fuels to meet their domestic cooking needs. The demand for traditional biomass is therefore likely to increase in the coming decades as long as they remain the most readily available and affordable in comparison to modern energy options. This research sought to analyze the household use of traditional fuels and its possible contribution to deforestation in Kisii County. The willingness of respondents to adopt alternative biofuels and energy efficient stoves and barriers encountered were also assessed. Two structured questionnaires that contained both open and close-ended questions were administered to 436 households and 40 wood fuel sellers respectively. Analysis of variance and regression analysis were used to analyze the alternative hypotheses of the study. It was established that the use of charcoal was the most prevalent compared to other fuels. Household consumption of traditional fuels contributed to an estimated loss of 39 ha of forest cover per annum. However, since 89.7% of the wood fuel used was sourced from other counties, the loss of biomass did not occur in Kisii County. Given a chance, about 63% of the respondents were willing to adopt alternative biofuels and energy efficient stoves. However, the greatest barrier to the adoption of these alternatives was the high cost of purchase. Other barriers identified included lack of government support and unwillingness to let go of traditional cooking practices. It was recommended that the Kenyan government and other stakeholders should promote local technologies for producing energy efficient stoves to make them more affordable to the populace.展开更多

It is of great significance for ecological environment and public health to pay attention to and explore the response mechanism of AOD to LUCC. Based on remote sensing satellite technology, using landsat8 and MODIS data, this paper analyzes the correlation between different land use types and AOD in Beibu Gulf coastal urban belt under the background of wide-scale region and long time series, and further discusses the difference value and contribution level of each LUCC to AOD. The results show that: 1) there is a positive correlation between PM concentration and cultivated land, urban land, water area and other types of land, and the correlation coefficient increases in turn, R is 0.812, 0.685, 0.627, 0.416, respectively, which indicates that the increase of cultivated land and urban land increases PM concentration to a certain extent;2) there is a significant negative correlation between PM concentration and forest land, R is -0.924, The results show that the decrease of woodland is an important factor for the increase of atmospheric particulate matter concentration in the study area from 2015 to 2019;3) through the contribution analysis method, the contribution of cultivated land to AOD is the largest, followed by urban land, and the water area is the smallest in 2015-2019, which indicates that the land use mode is closely related to AOD. It can be helpful to reasonably plan land use types and scientifically optimize land use structure. It can effectively reduce the concentration of air pollution particles.展开更多

Reducing the radiated noise of a gearbox is a difficult problem in aviation,navigation,machinery,and other fields.Structural improvement is the main means of noise reduction for a gearbox,and it is realized primarily ...Reducing the radiated noise of a gearbox is a difficult problem in aviation,navigation,machinery,and other fields.Structural improvement is the main means of noise reduction for a gearbox,and it is realized primarily through contribution analysis and structure optimization.However,these approaches have certain limitations.In this study,a low-noise design method for a gearbox that combines the two approaches is proposed,and experimental verification is performed.First,a finite element/boundary element model is established using a single-stage herringbone gearbox.Considering the vibration excitation of the gear system,the radiation noise of a single-stage gearbox is predicted based on the modal acoustic transfer vector(MATV)method.Subsequently,the maximum field point of the radiated noise is determined,and the acoustic transfer vector(ATV)analysis and modal acoustic contribution(MAC)analysis are conducted to determine the region that contributes significantly to the radiated noise of the field point.The optimization region is selected through the panel acoustic contribution(PAC)analysis.Next,to reduce the normal speed in the optimization region,topology optimization is performed.According to the topology optimization results,four different noise reduction structures are added to the gearbox,and the low-noise optimization models are established respectively.Finally,by measuring the radiated noise of the gearbox before and after optimization under a given working condition,the validity of the radiated noise prediction method and the low-noise optimization design method are verified by comparing the simulation and experimental data.A comparison of the four optimization models proves that the noise reduction effect can be achieved only by adding a noise reduction structure to the center of the density nephogram.展开更多
In recent years,the ecological environment along highways in Tibetan Plateau has been severely affected due to the rapid construction of highways.In order to solve the problems of multiple indicators and inconsistent ...In recent years,the ecological environment along highways in Tibetan Plateau has been severely affected due to the rapid construction of highways.In order to solve the problems of multiple indicators and inconsistent criteria in the ecological impact assessment of highways,and to scientifically screen assessment indicators,the paper proposes a multi-round indicator screening method,which combines literature analysis,expert rating,and statistical analysis.Based on this screening method,normalized difference vegetation index,land surface temperature,elevation,and normalized difference soil index are screened out.Combined with multiple linear regression,an ecological impact assessment model is established and applied to ecological impact assessment of Gonghe-Yushu Expressway.The results show that the expressway construction is the first driving force for the deterioration of the ecological environment along the roadside,and its interference range on the desert grassland ecosystem is greater than that on the agroforestry system.The ecological environment within 150 m on both sides of the expressway should be protected.展开更多
This research evaluated the ability of different coupled climate models to simulate the historical variability of potential evapotranspiration(PET)for the time period 1979–2017 in phases 5 and 6 of the Coupled Model ...This research evaluated the ability of different coupled climate models to simulate the historical variability of potential evapotranspiration(PET)for the time period 1979–2017 in phases 5 and 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP5 and CMIP6,respectively).Their projected future changes of PET under two emission scenarios for the 21st century were also compared.Results show that PET has an increasing trend of 0.2–0.6 mm d-1/50 yr over most land surfaces and that there are clear regional differences.The future value of PET is higher in the CMIP6 multi-model simulations than in the CMIP5 ones under the same emissions scenario,possibly because CMIP6 models simulate stronger warming for a given forcing or scenario.The contributions of each individual climate driver to future changes in PET were examined and revealed that the surface vapor pressure deficit makes a major contribution to changes in PET.Shortwave radiation increases PET in most terrestrial regions,except for northern Africa,East Asia,South Asia,and Australia;the effect of longwave radiation is the opposite to that of shortwave radiation.The contribution of surface wind speed to PET is small,but results in a slight reduction.展开更多
AIM:This paper aims to develop a data-based semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ) covering both urban and rural areas in the Chaoshan region of Guangdong Province, China, for the investigation of rela...AIM:This paper aims to develop a data-based semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ) covering both urban and rural areas in the Chaoshan region of Guangdong Province, China, for the investigation of relationships between food intake and lifestyle-related diseases among middle-aged Chinese. METHODS: We recruited 417 subjects from the general population and performed an assessment of the diet, using a 3-d weighed dietary record survey. We employed contribution analysis (CA) and multiple regression analysis (MRA) to select food items covering up to a 90% contribution and a 0.90 R2, respectively. The total number of food items consumed was 523 (443 in the urban and 417 in the rural population) and the intake of 29 nutrients was calculated according to the actual consumption by foods/ recipes. RESULTS: The CA selected 233,194, and 183 foods/recipes for the combined, the urban and the rural areas, respectively, and then 196,157, and 160 were chosen by the MRA. Finally, 125 foods/recipes were selected for the final questionnaire. The frequencies were classified into eight categories and standard portion sizes were also calculated. CONCLUSION: For adoption of the area-specific SQFFQ, validity and reproducibility tests are now planned tc determine how the combined SQFFQ performs in actual assessment of disease risk and benefit.展开更多

To develop a sound ozone(O_3) pollution control strategy,it is important to well understand and characterize the source contribution due to the complex chemical and physical formation processes of O_3.Using the "Sh...To develop a sound ozone(O_3) pollution control strategy,it is important to well understand and characterize the source contribution due to the complex chemical and physical formation processes of O_3.Using the "Shunde" city as a pilot summer case study,we apply an innovative response surface modeling(RSM) methodology based on the Community Multi-Scale Air Quality(CMAQ) modeling simulations to identify the O_3 regime and provide dynamic analysis of the precursor contributions to effectively assess the O_3 impacts of volatile organic compound(VOC) control strategy.Our results show that Shunde is a typical VOC-limited urban O_3 polluted city.The "Jiangmen" city,as the main upper wind area during July 2014,its VOCs and nitrogen oxides(NO_x) emissions make up the largest contribution(9.06%).On the contrary,the contribution from local(Shunde) emission is lowest(6.35%) among the seven neighbor regions.The local VOCs industrial source emission has the largest contribution comparing to other precursor emission sectors in Shunde.The results of dynamic source contribution analysis further show that the local NO_x control could slightly increase the ground O_3 under low(10.00%) and medium(40.00%)reduction ratios,while it could start to turn positive to decrease ground O_3 under the high NO_x abatement ratio(75.00%).The real-time assessment of O_3 impacts from VOCs control strategies in Pearl River Delta(PRD) shows that the joint regional VOCs emission control policy will effectively reduce the ground O_3 concentration in Shunde.展开更多
Severe fluctuation of the effective roll gap in the acceleration and deceleration section of the cold rolling process is a significant factor causing thickness deviation.However,the conventional roll gap compensation ...Severe fluctuation of the effective roll gap in the acceleration and deceleration section of the cold rolling process is a significant factor causing thickness deviation.However,the conventional roll gap compensation method and control strategy do not meet the stringent strip quality requirements.The roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process is studied to increase the thickness control precision.In order to improve model accuracy,a roll gap prediction method based on data-driven is proposed.Given the complexities of the cold rolling process,the extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)method is used to predict the roll gap model as the rolling speed changes.Meanwhile,support vector regression and neural network-based methods are taken to evaluate and compare the prediction performances.Based on the field data,the simulation experiments are carried out.It demonstrated that the prediction performance of the proposed method outperformed the other two methods.The values of root mean square error,determination coefficient value,mean absolute percentage error and mean absolute error obtained from the XGBoost model were equal to 0.000346,0.952,7.02,and 0.00028,respectively.In addition,the proposed method analyzed the contribution rates of the rolling affecting parameters on the roll gap.The data showed that in the controllable rolling parameters,the rolling speed is the most impacting factor that disturbs the roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process,which can provide a useful direction for actual roll gap adjustment.展开更多

Interior noises within Vehicle TC01, which can be used as a head car or a...This paper presents an investigation into the characteristics of interior noise of a Chinese high-speed train under several typical conditions. Interior noises within Vehicle TC01, which can be used as a head car or an end car, and Vehicle TP03, the third car counting from TC01, are measured for the train running at speeds from 260 km/h to 385 km/h, along two types of track including a slab track and a ballast track and either on the ground surface or in a tunnel. Data analyses are performed for sound pressure overall levels, frequency, area contributions, and possible generation mechanisms, showing how they are affected by train speed, running direction, track type, and tunnel. The results show that, whether TC01 is used as head car or end car, the interior noise characteristics in the VIP cabin are mostly related to aerodynamic noise. Differences in interior noise between tracks become smaller as the train speed increases. The effect of a tunnel on the interior noise is more important for the middle coach than that for the head coach. This study can provide a basis for noise control of high-speed trains.展开更多
To analyze the rollover safety,finite element models were established for the electric bus body frame,rollover simulation platform,living space,and bus rollover.The strength and stiffness of the body frame were calcul...To analyze the rollover safety,finite element models were established for the electric bus body frame,rollover simulation platform,living space,and bus rollover.The strength and stiffness of the body frame were calculated under four typical work-ing conditions considering the main low-order elastic modal characteristics.The results indicate that the initial body frame of the electric bus satisfies the required structural strength,stiffness,modes,and rollover safety,and it has great potential for lightweight design.Sensitivity and structural contribution analyses were performed to determine the design variables for lightweight optimization of the body frame,and a mathematical model was established for multi-objective collaborative optimization design of the electric bus.Then,the radial basis function neural network was used to approximate the optimiza-tion model.Besides,the accuracy of the approximate model was verified,and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II was employed to determine solutions for the lightweight optimization.Compared with the initial model,the mass of the optimized model is reduced by 240 kg(9.0%)without any changes in the materials of the body frame.展开更多

Among the 10 cities/towns, Baoding showed the high- est avera...Hourly PM2.5 concentrations were observed simultaneously at a cities-cluster comprising 10 cities/towns in Hebei province in China from July 1 to 31, 2008. Among the 10 cities/towns, Baoding showed the high- est average concentration level (161.57μg/m3) and Yanjiao exhibited the lowest (99.35 μg/m3 ). These observed data were also studied using the joint potential source contribution function with 24-h and 72-h backward trajectories, to identify more clearly the local and countrywide-scale long-range transport sources. For the local sources, three important influential areas were found, whereas five important influential areas were defined for long-range transport sources. Spatial characteristics of PM2.5 were determined by multivariate statistical analyses. Soil dust, coal combustion, and vehicle emissions might be the potential contributors in these areas. The results of a hierarchical cluster analysis for back trajectory endpoints and PM2.s concentrations datasets show that the spatial characteristics of PM2.5 in the cities-cluster were influenced not only by local sources, but also by long-range transport sources. Different cities in the cities-cluster obtained different weighted contributions from local or long-range transport sources. Cangzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Baoding are near the source areas in the south of Hebei province, whereas Zhuozhou, Yangfang, Yanjiao, Xianghe, and Langfang are close to the sources areas near Beijing and Tianjin.展开更多
Phosphorescent and thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)emitters can break through the spin statistics rules and achieve great success in external quantum efficiency(over 5%).However,maintaining high efficien...Phosphorescent and thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)emitters can break through the spin statistics rules and achieve great success in external quantum efficiency(over 5%).However,maintaining high efficiency at high brightness is a tremendous challenge for applications of organic light emitting diodes.Hence,we reported two phenanthroimidazole derivatives PPI-An-CN and PPI-An-TP and achieved extremely low efficiency roll-off with about 99%of the maximum external quantum efficiency(EQEmax)maintained even at a high luminance of 1000 cd/cm2 based non-doped devices.When doping the two materials in CBP(4,4'-bis(N-carbazolyl)-1,1'-biphenyl),the doped devices still exhibited excellent stability at high brightness with CIEy≈0.07 and low turn-on voltage of only 2.8 V.The state-ofthe-art low efficiency roll-off makes the new materials attractive for potential applications.It is the first time that the Fragment Contribution Analysis method has been used to analyze the excited state properties of the molecules in the field of OLEDs,which helps us understand the mechanism more intuitively and deeply.展开更多

In this paper, NVH performance of a lightweight auto-body prototype using alternative materials and gauge thickness were studied by finite element materials and boundary element method (BEM). In order to fred the most contributing panel to the peak value of response, the panel acoustic contribution analysis (PACA) was performed and the most effective modification area was located. Finally, the sound pressure was reduced by putting damping material on these parts.

For Shanxi province, the development of circulation industry provides new ideas for changing its mode of economic growth. 文摘A problem of the air pollution control in China is getting to know a regional contribution rate of internal and external source of PM2.5. In this paper,Set Pair Analysis( SPA) method is proposed to calculate the contribution rate of PM2.5in Dongguan City. Due to geographic,meteorological factors and the low concentration of air pollutants in Qingxi area,the PM2.5in this place is mainly contributed by the regional transport of air pollutants from other inside areas of Dongguan,and less affected by the outside of Dongguan. So the concentration of PM2.5in Qingxi area can reflect the Dongguan's basic background concentration of PM2.5. On the basis of the basic background concentration,firstly the concentration of each pollutant components is divided into the internal part and the mixed part. Secondly using the source apportionment samples of five monitoring sites in Dongguan we can respectively construct a sample set A and an evaluation set B. Thirdly the SPA is operated onto the mixed part in terms of set B.At last the connection degree between the concentration of each pollutant components and external source and internal source will be calculated,that is the contribution rate. The research reveals that the contribution rate of internal source and external source of PM2.5in Dongguan City is 83%and 17% respectively,which roughly met expectations. This method is simple and effective and it can provide a reference for the government taking reduction measures to control PM2.5pollutants emission.

文摘A large majority of Kenyans still rely on traditional fuels to meet their domestic cooking needs. The demand for traditional biomass is therefore likely to increase in the coming decades as long as they remain the most readily available and affordable in comparison to modern energy options. This research sought to analyze the household use of traditional fuels and its possible contribution to deforestation in Kisii County. The willingness of respondents to adopt alternative biofuels and energy efficient stoves and barriers encountered were also assessed. Two structured questionnaires that contained both open and close-ended questions were administered to 436 households and 40 wood fuel sellers respectively. Analysis of variance and regression analysis were used to analyze the alternative hypotheses of the study. It was established that the use of charcoal was the most prevalent compared to other fuels. Household consumption of traditional fuels contributed to an estimated loss of 39 ha of forest cover per annum. However, since 89.7% of the wood fuel used was sourced from other counties, the loss of biomass did not occur in Kisii County. Given a chance, about 63% of the respondents were willing to adopt alternative biofuels and energy efficient stoves. However, the greatest barrier to the adoption of these alternatives was the high cost of purchase. Other barriers identified included lack of government support and unwillingness to let go of traditional cooking practices. It was recommended that the Kenyan government and other stakeholders should promote local technologies for producing energy efficient stoves to make them more affordable to the populace.
文摘Land Use/Cover Change (LUCC) has an impact on AOD to a certain extent. It is of great significance for ecological environment and public health to pay attention to and explore the response mechanism of AOD to LUCC. Based on remote sensing satellite technology, using landsat8 and MODIS data, this paper analyzes the correlation between different land use types and AOD in Beibu Gulf coastal urban belt under the background of wide-scale region and long time series, and further discusses the difference value and contribution level of each LUCC to AOD. The results show that: 1) there is a positive correlation between PM concentration and cultivated land, urban land, water area and other types of land, and the correlation coefficient increases in turn, R is 0.812, 0.685, 0.627, 0.416, respectively, which indicates that the increase of cultivated land and urban land increases PM concentration to a certain extent;2) there is a significant negative correlation between PM concentration and forest land, R is -0.924, The results show that the decrease of woodland is an important factor for the increase of atmospheric particulate matter concentration in the study area from 2015 to 2019;3) through the contribution analysis method, the contribution of cultivated land to AOD is the largest, followed by urban land, and the water area is the smallest in 2015-2019, which indicates that the land use mode is closely related to AOD. It can be helpful to reasonably plan land use types and scientifically optimize land use structure. It can effectively reduce the concentration of air pollution particles.
文摘According to data in Nanjing Statistical Yearbook, contribution made by agricultural production factors was analyzed with contribution models of agricultural factors and the results showed that with restriction of labor force and land, Nanjing suburban counties have entered into a stage of "high input-high output", considering no matter from agricultural total value of output or from agricultural added value. In future, structure configuration of agricultural input factors should be optimized in Nanjing suburban counties by technology input to improve agricultural technology and technical efficiency in order to further achieve sustainable development of agriculture.

文摘Reducing the radiated noise of a gearbox is a difficult problem in aviation,navigation,machinery,and other fields.Structural improvement is the main means of noise reduction for a gearbox,and it is realized primarily through contribution analysis and structure optimization.However,these approaches have certain limitations.In this study,a low-noise design method for a gearbox that combines the two approaches is proposed,and experimental verification is performed.First,a finite element/boundary element model is established using a single-stage herringbone gearbox.Considering the vibration excitation of the gear system,the radiation noise of a single-stage gearbox is predicted based on the modal acoustic transfer vector(MATV)method.Subsequently,the maximum field point of the radiated noise is determined,and the acoustic transfer vector(ATV)analysis and modal acoustic contribution(MAC)analysis are conducted to determine the region that contributes significantly to the radiated noise of the field point.The optimization region is selected through the panel acoustic contribution(PAC)analysis.Next,to reduce the normal speed in the optimization region,topology optimization is performed.According to the topology optimization results,four different noise reduction structures are added to the gearbox,and the low-noise optimization models are established respectively.Finally,by measuring the radiated noise of the gearbox before and after optimization under a given working condition,the validity of the radiated noise prediction method and the low-noise optimization design method are verified by comparing the simulation and experimental data.A comparison of the four optimization models proves that the noise reduction effect can be achieved only by adding a noise reduction structure to the center of the density nephogram.

文摘In recent years,the ecological environment along highways in Tibetan Plateau has been severely affected due to the rapid construction of highways.In order to solve the problems of multiple indicators and inconsistent criteria in the ecological impact assessment of highways,and to scientifically screen assessment indicators,the paper proposes a multi-round indicator screening method,which combines literature analysis,expert rating,and statistical analysis.Based on this screening method,normalized difference vegetation index,land surface temperature,elevation,and normalized difference soil index are screened out.Combined with multiple linear regression,an ecological impact assessment model is established and applied to ecological impact assessment of Gonghe-Yushu Expressway.The results show that the expressway construction is the first driving force for the deterioration of the ecological environment along the roadside,and its interference range on the desert grassland ecosystem is greater than that on the agroforestry system.The ecological environment within 150 m on both sides of the expressway should be protected.

文摘This research evaluated the ability of different coupled climate models to simulate the historical variability of potential evapotranspiration(PET)for the time period 1979–2017 in phases 5 and 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP5 and CMIP6,respectively).Their projected future changes of PET under two emission scenarios for the 21st century were also compared.Results show that PET has an increasing trend of 0.2–0.6 mm d-1/50 yr over most land surfaces and that there are clear regional differences.The future value of PET is higher in the CMIP6 multi-model simulations than in the CMIP5 ones under the same emissions scenario,possibly because CMIP6 models simulate stronger warming for a given forcing or scenario.The contributions of each individual climate driver to future changes in PET were examined and revealed that the surface vapor pressure deficit makes a major contribution to changes in PET.Shortwave radiation increases PET in most terrestrial regions,except for northern Africa,East Asia,South Asia,and Australia;the effect of longwave radiation is the opposite to that of shortwave radiation.The contribution of surface wind speed to PET is small,but results in a slight reduction.

文摘AIM:This paper aims to develop a data-based semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ) covering both urban and rural areas in the Chaoshan region of Guangdong Province, China, for the investigation of relationships between food intake and lifestyle-related diseases among middle-aged Chinese. METHODS: We recruited 417 subjects from the general population and performed an assessment of the diet, using a 3-d weighed dietary record survey. We employed contribution analysis (CA) and multiple regression analysis (MRA) to select food items covering up to a 90% contribution and a 0.90 R2, respectively. The total number of food items consumed was 523 (443 in the urban and 417 in the rural population) and the intake of 29 nutrients was calculated according to the actual consumption by foods/ recipes. RESULTS: The CA selected 233,194, and 183 foods/recipes for the combined, the urban and the rural areas, respectively, and then 196,157, and 160 were chosen by the MRA. Finally, 125 foods/recipes were selected for the final questionnaire. The frequencies were classified into eight categories and standard portion sizes were also calculated. CONCLUSION: For adoption of the area-specific SQFFQ, validity and reproducibility tests are now planned tc determine how the combined SQFFQ performs in actual assessment of disease risk and benefit.
文摘The author uses the statistics from 1981 to 2002 to perform a logarithmic regression analysis on the contribution made by foreign investment to Chinese economy. The measurement shows that the following effects on Chinese economy are brought by large amount of foreign investment: 1) Foreign investment, as an important investment source, boosts the increase of the stock of production factors and improves the supplying potentials of Chinese economy. 2) The application of foreign investment speeds the rapid growth of the total production value and the increases the value of Chinese industry. 3) Foreign investment changes the employment structure of Chinese labor force. 4) The tax in China, to some extent, owes its growth to the adoption of foreign investment.

文摘To develop a sound ozone(O_3) pollution control strategy,it is important to well understand and characterize the source contribution due to the complex chemical and physical formation processes of O_3.Using the "Shunde" city as a pilot summer case study,we apply an innovative response surface modeling(RSM) methodology based on the Community Multi-Scale Air Quality(CMAQ) modeling simulations to identify the O_3 regime and provide dynamic analysis of the precursor contributions to effectively assess the O_3 impacts of volatile organic compound(VOC) control strategy.Our results show that Shunde is a typical VOC-limited urban O_3 polluted city.The "Jiangmen" city,as the main upper wind area during July 2014,its VOCs and nitrogen oxides(NO_x) emissions make up the largest contribution(9.06%).On the contrary,the contribution from local(Shunde) emission is lowest(6.35%) among the seven neighbor regions.The local VOCs industrial source emission has the largest contribution comparing to other precursor emission sectors in Shunde.The results of dynamic source contribution analysis further show that the local NO_x control could slightly increase the ground O_3 under low(10.00%) and medium(40.00%)reduction ratios,while it could start to turn positive to decrease ground O_3 under the high NO_x abatement ratio(75.00%).The real-time assessment of O_3 impacts from VOCs control strategies in Pearl River Delta(PRD) shows that the joint regional VOCs emission control policy will effectively reduce the ground O_3 concentration in Shunde.

文摘Severe fluctuation of the effective roll gap in the acceleration and deceleration section of the cold rolling process is a significant factor causing thickness deviation.However,the conventional roll gap compensation method and control strategy do not meet the stringent strip quality requirements.The roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process is studied to increase the thickness control precision.In order to improve model accuracy,a roll gap prediction method based on data-driven is proposed.Given the complexities of the cold rolling process,the extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)method is used to predict the roll gap model as the rolling speed changes.Meanwhile,support vector regression and neural network-based methods are taken to evaluate and compare the prediction performances.Based on the field data,the simulation experiments are carried out.It demonstrated that the prediction performance of the proposed method outperformed the other two methods.The values of root mean square error,determination coefficient value,mean absolute percentage error and mean absolute error obtained from the XGBoost model were equal to 0.000346,0.952,7.02,and 0.00028,respectively.In addition,the proposed method analyzed the contribution rates of the rolling affecting parameters on the roll gap.The data showed that in the controllable rolling parameters,the rolling speed is the most impacting factor that disturbs the roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process,which can provide a useful direction for actual roll gap adjustment.

文摘This paper presents an investigation into the characteristics of interior noise of a Chinese high-speed train under several typical conditions. Interior noises within Vehicle TC01, which can be used as a head car or an end car, and Vehicle TP03, the third car counting from TC01, are measured for the train running at speeds from 260 km/h to 385 km/h, along two types of track including a slab track and a ballast track and either on the ground surface or in a tunnel. Data analyses are performed for sound pressure overall levels, frequency, area contributions, and possible generation mechanisms, showing how they are affected by train speed, running direction, track type, and tunnel. The results show that, whether TC01 is used as head car or end car, the interior noise characteristics in the VIP cabin are mostly related to aerodynamic noise. Differences in interior noise between tracks become smaller as the train speed increases. The effect of a tunnel on the interior noise is more important for the middle coach than that for the head coach. This study can provide a basis for noise control of high-speed trains.

文摘To analyze the rollover safety,finite element models were established for the electric bus body frame,rollover simulation platform,living space,and bus rollover.The strength and stiffness of the body frame were calculated under four typical work-ing conditions considering the main low-order elastic modal characteristics.The results indicate that the initial body frame of the electric bus satisfies the required structural strength,stiffness,modes,and rollover safety,and it has great potential for lightweight design.Sensitivity and structural contribution analyses were performed to determine the design variables for lightweight optimization of the body frame,and a mathematical model was established for multi-objective collaborative optimization design of the electric bus.Then,the radial basis function neural network was used to approximate the optimiza-tion model.Besides,the accuracy of the approximate model was verified,and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II was employed to determine solutions for the lightweight optimization.Compared with the initial model,the mass of the optimized model is reduced by 240 kg(9.0%)without any changes in the materials of the body frame.

文摘Hourly PM2.5 concentrations were observed simultaneously at a cities-cluster comprising 10 cities/towns in Hebei province in China from July 1 to 31, 2008. Among the 10 cities/towns, Baoding showed the high- est average concentration level (161.57μg/m3) and Yanjiao exhibited the lowest (99.35 μg/m3 ). These observed data were also studied using the joint potential source contribution function with 24-h and 72-h backward trajectories, to identify more clearly the local and countrywide-scale long-range transport sources. For the local sources, three important influential areas were found, whereas five important influential areas were defined for long-range transport sources. Spatial characteristics of PM2.5 were determined by multivariate statistical analyses. Soil dust, coal combustion, and vehicle emissions might be the potential contributors in these areas. The results of a hierarchical cluster analysis for back trajectory endpoints and PM2.s concentrations datasets show that the spatial characteristics of PM2.5 in the cities-cluster were influenced not only by local sources, but also by long-range transport sources. Different cities in the cities-cluster obtained different weighted contributions from local or long-range transport sources. Cangzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Baoding are near the source areas in the south of Hebei province, whereas Zhuozhou, Yangfang, Yanjiao, Xianghe, and Langfang are close to the sources areas near Beijing and Tianjin.

文摘Phosphorescent and thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)emitters can break through the spin statistics rules and achieve great success in external quantum efficiency(over 5%).However,maintaining high efficiency at high brightness is a tremendous challenge for applications of organic light emitting diodes.Hence,we reported two phenanthroimidazole derivatives PPI-An-CN and PPI-An-TP and achieved extremely low efficiency roll-off with about 99%of the maximum external quantum efficiency(EQEmax)maintained even at a high luminance of 1000 cd/cm2 based non-doped devices.When doping the two materials in CBP(4,4'-bis(N-carbazolyl)-1,1'-biphenyl),the doped devices still exhibited excellent stability at high brightness with CIEy≈0.07 and low turn-on voltage of only 2.8 V.The state-ofthe-art low efficiency roll-off makes the new materials attractive for potential applications.It is the first time that the Fragment Contribution Analysis method has been used to analyze the excited state properties of the molecules in the field of OLEDs,which helps us understand the mechanism more intuitively and deeply.
