[ Method ] The high-lipid.diet was fed to establish the high lipid model of Coturnix coturnix. The normal control group, high lipid model group, high dose of perilla seed group（2.5 g/kg）, low dose of perilla seed group （0.83 g/kg） were designed to measure the contents of total cholesterol （TC）, three acids glyceride （TC）, high density lipoprotein cholesterol （HDL-C）, low density lipoprotein cholesterol （LDL-C）, very low density lipoprotein cholesterol （VLDL-C） and malondialdehyde （MDA）, superoxide dismutase （SOD） activity. [ Result] All the test groups could decrease TC ,TG,LDL-C and MDA content and significantly increase the HDL-C content （p 〈 0.01） and SOD activity（p 〈 0.01 ） in serum. [ Conclusion] Perilla seed has the blood lipid regulation and peroxidation function.展开更多
