A novel metasurface antenna consisting of 5×5 rectangular patch elements is presented.Thestructure with and without the central element are both analyzed by the Characteristic Mode Theory(CMT).The developed mutua...A novel metasurface antenna consisting of 5×5 rectangular patch elements is presented.Thestructure with and without the central element are both analyzed by the Characteristic Mode Theory(CMT).The developed mutually orthogonal principal modes of the optimized periodic patch structure areexcited by a center-feed dipole.A differential feeding network is employed to realize impedance matching.Prototype with profile height of 0.07λ_(0)(λ_(0)is the wavelength in free space at the lowest operatingfrequency)is fabricated and assembled to verify the simulation results.The measured results show that thereflectance coefficient of proposed matesurface antenna is less than-10 dB in the whole operating bandrange from 4.2 GHz to 5.5 GHz,a relative bandwidth of 26.8%is achieved,and the maximummeasured realized gain is more than 9 dBi with a maximum radiation efficiency of 90%.The designprovides a guideline on the application of characteristic modes(CMs)to radiation problems.展开更多

The complete mode coupling can take place when both the phase and loss matching conditions are satisfied at the avoided anti-crossing wavelength. It shows the influences of cladding structure parameters including the diameters of cladding air holes d1, diameters of outer core holes d2 and hole to hole pitch A on the characteristics of leaky modes coupling. The coupled-mode theory is used to analyse the mode transition characteristics and the complete coupling can be clearly indicated by comparing the real and imaginary parts of propagation constant of the leaky modes.展开更多
China has made significant strides in economic and social development since reform and opening up over the past four decades.This process has been influenced by the exceptional innovation and entrepreneurship of Chine...China has made significant strides in economic and social development since reform and opening up over the past four decades.This process has been influenced by the exceptional innovation and entrepreneurship of Chinese business leaders,as well as their profound sentiments of compassion for the world and their country.It is of great significance to foster and promote an entrepreneurial spirit with distinctive Chinese characteristics.Not only is such spirit essential to the high-quality development of enterprises and the economy,but it is also a critical impetus for achieving Chinese modernization.Nevertheless,there is still a paucity of adequate theoretical discourse on the cultural origins and entrepreneurial spirit of outstanding Chinese business leaders.This paper employs the classical grounded theory method to conduct a 10-year follow-up research on 11 representative entrepreneurs and their enterprises.The results indicate that these entrepreneurs exhibit an evolving worldview along the paths of“self-cultivation and moral conduct”,“assisting employees to achieve”,“multilateral symbiosis”,and“the oneness of existence”when interacting with themselves,employees,partners,the general public,and all things in nature.Such entrepreneurial spirit is embodied in this paper as the“Tianxia(all-under-heaven)worldview”.Through theoretical construction,this study defines the concept of“Tianxia worldview”and extensively examines the distinctions and connections between the broadminded“Tianxia worldview”and the kinship-centered“differential mode of association”in terms of internal structure,value orientation,and applicable groups.It is posited that the transition from the former to the latter is a continuous process of transcendence and evolution of the individual mindset.This study has theoretical significance in the context of advancing the research on the Chinese entrepreneurial spirit,transcending the constraints of the management approach based on the“differential mode of association”,and enhancing the research on social responsibility from the perspective of“benefit corporations”.It also has practical value in overcoming the trust dilemma and development impediment of family businesses,ensuring that enterprises consciously fulfill their social responsibilities in a broader social context,and achieving common prosperity and progress for both enterprises and society.展开更多

The analytical expression for the transmission spectra of coupled cavity waveguides (CCWs) in photonic crystals (PCs) is derived based on the coupled-mode theory (CMT). Parameters in the analytical expression ca...The analytical expression for the transmission spectra of coupled cavity waveguides (CCWs) in photonic crystals (PCs) is derived based on the coupled-mode theory (CMT). Parameters in the analytical expression can be extracted by simple numerical simulations. We reveal that it is the phase shift between the two adjacent PC defects that uniquely determines the flatness of the impurity bands of CCWs. In addition, it is found that the phase shift also greatly affects the bandwidth of CCWs. Thus, the engineering of the impurity bands of CCWs can be realized through the adjustment of the phase shift. Based on the theoretical results, an interesting phenomenon in which a CCW acts as a single PC defect and its impurity band possesses a Lorentz lineshape is predicted. Very good agreement between the analytical results and the numerical simulations based on transfer matrix method has been achieved.展开更多

The crystal structure of L-glutamine is stabilized by a three-dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds.We utilize plane-wave density functional theory lattice-dynamics calculations within the generalized-g...The crystal structure of L-glutamine is stabilized by a three-dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds.We utilize plane-wave density functional theory lattice-dynamics calculations within the generalized-gradient approximation(GGA), Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof(PBE), PBE for solids(PBEsol), PBE with Wu–Cohen exchange(WC), and dispersion-corrected PBE, to investigate the effect of these intermolecular contacts on the absorption spectra of glutamine in the terahertz frequency range. Among these calculations, the solid-state simulated results obtained using the WC method exhibit a good agreement with the measured absorption spectra, and the absorption features are assigned with the help of WC. This indicates that the vibrational modes of glutamine were related to the combination of intramolecular and intermolecular motions, the intramolecular modes were dominated by rocking or torsion involving functional groups; the intermolecular modes mainly result from the translational motions of individual molecules, and the rocking of the hydrogenbonded functional groups.展开更多

Many image fusion techniques have been developed to produce high resolution multispectral image. Considering panchromatic image and multispectral images contain the same spatial information with different accuracy, using the least square theory could estimate optimal spatial information. Compared with previous spatial details injection mode, this mode is more accurate and robust. In this paper, an image fusion method using Bidimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition (BEMD) and the least square theory is proposed to merge multispectral images and panchromatic image. After multi-spectral images were transformed from RGB space into IHS space, next I component and Panchromatic are decomposed by BEMD, then using the least squares theory to evaluate optimal spatial information and inject spatial information, finally completing fusion through inverse BEMD and inverse intensity-hue-saturation transform. Two data sets are used to evaluate the proposed fusion method, GF-1 images and QuickBird-2 images. The fusion images were evaluated visually and statistically. The evaluation results show the method proposed in this paper achieves the best performance compared with the conventional method.展开更多

Therefore, in this work, we calculate the coupling coefficients of TCFs using the supermode theory with finite element method (FEM) that has higher accuracy than CMT, particularly for the strong coupling TCF. Geodesic acoustic modes(GAM) are oscillating zonal structures unique to toroidal plasmas,and have been extensively studied in the past decades due to their potential capabilities of regulating microscopic turbulence...Geodesic acoustic modes(GAM) are oscillating zonal structures unique to toroidal plasmas,and have been extensively studied in the past decades due to their potential capabilities of regulating microscopic turbulences and associated anomalous transport.This article reviews linear and nonlinear theories of GAM;with emphases on kinetic treatment,system nonuniformity and realistic magnetic geometry,in order to reflect the realistic experimental conditions.Specifically,in the linear physics,the resonant wave-particle interactions are discussed,with the application to resonant excitation by energetic particles(EPs).The theory of EP-induced GAM(EGAM) is applied to realistic devices for the interpretation of experimental observations,and global effects due to coupling to GAM continuum are also discussed.Meanwhile,in the nonlinear physics,the spontaneous GAM excitation by microscale turbulences is reviewed,including the effects of various system nonuniformities.A unified theoretical framework of GAM/EGAM is then constructed based on our present understandings.The first-principle-based GAM/EGAM theories reviewed here,thus,provide the tools needed for the understanding and interpretation of experimental/numerical results.展开更多

Among these calculations, the solid-state simulated results obtained using the WC method exhibit a good agreement with the measured absorption spectra, and the absorption features are assigned with the help of WC. This indicates that the vibrational modes of glutamine were related to the combination of intramolecular and intermolecular motions, the intramolecular modes were dominated by rocking or torsion involving functional groups; the intermolecular modes mainly result from the translational motions of individual molecules, and the rocking of the hydrogenbonded functional groups.
文摘Due to the data acquired by most optical earth observation satellite such as IKONOS, QuickBird-2 and GF-1 consist of a panchromatic image with high spatial resolution and multiple multispectral images with low spatial resolution. Many image fusion techniques have been developed to produce high resolution multispectral image. Considering panchromatic image and multispectral images contain the same spatial information with different accuracy, using the least square theory could estimate optimal spatial information. Compared with previous spatial details injection mode, this mode is more accurate and robust. In this paper, an image fusion method using Bidimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition (BEMD) and the least square theory is proposed to merge multispectral images and panchromatic image. After multi-spectral images were transformed from RGB space into IHS space, next I component and Panchromatic are decomposed by BEMD, then using the least squares theory to evaluate optimal spatial information and inject spatial information, finally completing fusion through inverse BEMD and inverse intensity-hue-saturation transform. Two data sets are used to evaluate the proposed fusion method, GF-1 images and QuickBird-2 images. The fusion images were evaluated visually and statistically. The evaluation results show the method proposed in this paper achieves the best performance compared with the conventional method.

文摘By applying switch-signal theory, the interaction between MOS transmission switch-ing transistor and current signal in current-mode CMOS circuits is analyzed, and the theory oftransmission current-switches which is suitable to current-mode CMOS circuits is proposed. Thecircuits, such as ternary full-adder etc., designed by using this theory have simpler circuit struc-tures and correct logic functions. It is confirmed that this theory is efficient in guiding the logicdesign of current-mode CMOS circuits at switch level.
文摘<div style="text-align:justify;"> Currently, coupled mode theory (CMT) is widely used for calculating the coupling coefficient of twin-core fibers (TCFs) that are used in a broad range of important applications. This approach is highly accurate for scenarios with weak coupling between the cores but shows significant errors in the strong coupling scenarios, necessitating the use of a more accurate method for coupling coefficient calculations. Therefore, in this work, we calculate the coupling coefficients of TCFs using the supermode theory with finite element method (FEM) that has higher accuracy than CMT, particularly for the strong coupling TCF. To investigate the origin of the differences between the results obtained by these two methods, the modal field distributions of the supermodes of TCF are simulated and analyzed in detail. </div>

文摘Analytical theories of the geodesic acoustic mode (GAM) are reviewed in the small- and large-orbit drift width limits, respectively. Different physics pictures in these two limits are displayed. As an example, these two analytical methods are employed to investigate the plasma shaping effect on the frequency and collisionless damping rate of the GAM.
文摘Three density functional theory methods (DFT) have been used to investigate the H2+F?HF+H reaction comparing with the Hartree-Fock method and Moller-Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory method. Through the analysis of the vibrational mode and vibrational frequency in the reaction process, the reaction mechanism has been discussed. The activation energy, the reorganization energy and rate constant of the ET reaction are calculated at semi-quantitative level.

文摘Geodesic acoustic modes(GAM) are oscillating zonal structures unique to toroidal plasmas,and have been extensively studied in the past decades due to their potential capabilities of regulating microscopic turbulences and associated anomalous transport.This article reviews linear and nonlinear theories of GAM;with emphases on kinetic treatment,system nonuniformity and realistic magnetic geometry,in order to reflect the realistic experimental conditions.Specifically,in the linear physics,the resonant wave-particle interactions are discussed,with the application to resonant excitation by energetic particles(EPs).The theory of EP-induced GAM(EGAM) is applied to realistic devices for the interpretation of experimental observations,and global effects due to coupling to GAM continuum are also discussed.Meanwhile,in the nonlinear physics,the spontaneous GAM excitation by microscale turbulences is reviewed,including the effects of various system nonuniformities.A unified theoretical framework of GAM/EGAM is then constructed based on our present understandings.The first-principle-based GAM/EGAM theories reviewed here,thus,provide the tools needed for the understanding and interpretation of experimental/numerical results.

文摘The paper tries to explore circular economy from the viewpoint of the system theory. Circular economy is a kind of complicated economic activity, and it is a wholly new ecotype economy proposed by Western countries after they had summed up many experiences and lessons from traditional economy. It is an entirety and has many layers. It keeps an open and dynamic balance. Because the system theory is the theoretical foundation of circular economy, we should systemically analyze and study circular economy from the macroscopic view, correctly grasp its operational laws, improve its service functions, and realize human beings' sustainable development. The paper introduces the content and general characteristics of the system theory and the idea of circular economy. Then it analyzes circular economy based on the system theory. The paper concludes that the integration of circular economy and the system theory can promote the functions of circular economy.
文摘Multilayer cladded slab waveguides have been solved by using asymptotic theory once or twice. Based on the solution of a three layer slab waveguide, the wave number of guided modes has been expanded in series of one or two small parameters. One side cladded slab, two side cladded slab and two parallel cladded slab waveguide system are demonstrated to show how to use this essentially analytic method. Numerical examples have also been given and compared with exact solutions, eved the first or second order solutions are highly accurate.

文摘Marx’s production paradigm constitutes the logical premise of his construction of machine production theory.Therefore,the machine production theory elaborated by Marx has a unique research method and theoretical perspective,which is fundamentally different from other non-Marxist technical theories,which is also the basic starting point for understanding and explaining Marx’s machine production theory.By defining the logical premise of Marx’s machine production theory as production paradigm,we can not only reinterpret this theory based on the original context,but also examine the latest interaction between contemporary capitalism and technological reality on the basis of this interpretation.Only from the production paradigm can we truly grasp the complete connotation of“machine production”in Marx’s mature criticism of political economy.
