Numerical Simulation of the Critical Scale of Oasis Maintenance and Development in the Arid Regions of Northwest China 被引量:12

Oasis is a special geographic landscape among the vast desert/Gobi in Northwest China (NWC). The surface sensitive heat flux and latent heat flux at Zhangye Oasis during 1 to 11 August 1991 are simulated using the NCAR nonhydrostatic mesoscale model MM5 Version 3. The horizontal grid resolution is set as 1km. By comparing the simulation results with HEIFE observations, it is proved that the model can be used to simulate the surface energy and water mass exchange of arid and semiarid regions in NWC. Based on the above results, the influence of different oasis scales on the local atmospheric field near the ground surface, and the critical scale of oasis maintenance, in NWC are studied dynamically. The following conclusion is obtained: the local thermal circulation between the oasis and the desert/Gobi is formed in the oasis downstream if the oasis scale is larger than 4 km. This local thermal circulation between the oasis and the desert adjacent to the oasis helps to conserve water vapor over the oasis. At the same time, it transfers the abundant water vapor from the oasis into the desert/Gobi near to the oasis to supply relatively plentiful water vapor for desert crops to grow on the fringe of the oasis. So, it is advantageous for oasis extension. However, if the scale of the oasis is smaller than 4 km, it is not easy for the local thermal circulation between the oasis and the desert/Gobi to take shape. Internet of Vehicles(IoV)is an intelligent vehicular technology that allows vehicles to communicate with each other via internet.Communications and the Internet of Things(IoT)enable cutting-edge technologies including such self-driving cars.In the existing systems,there is a maximum communication delay while transmitting the messages.The proposed system uses hybrid Cooperative,Vehicular Communication Management Framework called CAMINO(CA).Further it uses,energy efficient fast message routing protocol with Common Vulnerability Scoring System(CVSS)methodology for improving the communication delay,throughput.It improves security while transmitting the messages through networks.In this research,we present a unique intelligent vehicular infrastructure communication management framework.This framework includes additional stability for both short and long-range mobile communications.It also includes built-in cooperative intelligent transport system(C-ITS)capabilities for experimental verification in real-world contexts.In addition,an energy efficient-fast message distribution routing protocol(EE-FMDRP)has been presented.This combines the benefits between both temporal and direction oriented routing methods.This has been suggested for distributing information from the origin ends to the predetermined objective in a quick,accurate,and effective manner in the event of an emergency.The critical value scale score(CVSS)employ ratings to measure the assault probability in Markov chains.Probabilities of chained transitions allow us to statistically evaluate the integrity of a group of IoVassets.Thus the proposed method helps to enhance the vehicular systems.The CAMINO with energy efficient fast protocol using CVSS(CA-EEFP-CVSS)method outperforms in terms of shortest transmission latency achieves 2.6 sec,highest throughput 11.6%,and lowest energy usage 17%and PDR 95.78%. 展开更多

Although many intact rock types can be very strong,a critical confining pressure can eventually be reached in triaxial testing,such that the Mohr shear strength envelope becomes horizontal.This critical state has recently been better defined,and correct curvature or correct deviation from linear Mohr-Coulomb(MC) has finally been found.Standard shear testing procedures for rock joints,using multiple testing of the same sample,in case of insufficient samples,can be shown to exaggerate apparent cohesion.Even rough joints do not have any cohesion,but instead have very high friction angles at low stress,due to strong dilation.Rock masses,implying problems of large-scale interaction with engineering structures,may have both cohesive and frictional strength components.However,it is not correct to add these,following linear M-C or nonlinear Hoek-Brown(H-B) standard routines.Cohesion is broken at small strain,while friction is mobilized at larger strain and remains to the end of the shear deformation.The criterion 'c then σn tan φ' should replace 'c plus σn tan φ' for improved fit to reality.Transformation of principal stresses to a shear plane seems to ignore mobilized dilation,and caused great experimental difficulties until understood.There seems to be plenty of room for continued research,so that errors of judgement of the last 50 years can be corrected. 展开更多
